@Ella31 fantastic news! It was bound to happen at some point 🥰

@emmatcc1 I know what you mean about tablets, good they have a gummy version! X

DonnaWhat · 04/06/2024 11:54

@ThelastRolo20 I'm doing OK, the bleeding has stopped for now, wether it starts again or not is a different story. How's baby bean?

@Ella31 FINALLY!! Hopefully all your baby dancing has been enough, I have everything crossed for you ❤️❤️

@mountainlass will you do a digital? Exciting news xx

Figtree11 · 04/06/2024 13:18

@Ella31 great news!

Hope everyone else is ok.
No news from me, still waiting to hear from Sheffield for my referral due to partial molar

ThelastRolo20 · 04/06/2024 13:24

@DonnaWhat I'm glad the bleeding has stopped, I hope your recovery is uncomplicated so you can get trying again as soon as you're ready ❤️

So far so good (as of last Wednesday anyway) but after two MMCs those negative thoughts are never far away. I can't change the outcome so I just need to keep going day by day. Next scan is a week Thursday (which currently feels a lifetime away) x

ThelastRolo20 · 04/06/2024 13:25

@Figtree11 so sorry to hear about the partial molar update, I really hope your HCG continues going down and you are able to try again soon. Did they give a timeframe of when you'll hear from them? X

Thank you. Still testing positive but only faintly. But last MC I was still testing positive 5 weeks after so at the moment it’s nothing out of the ordinary to my previous experience.

No I asked about timelines when my local hospital rang, and all they said was that the timelines aren’t long like some places where you’re waiting 9 months. So no idea if I’ll hear in the coming days, weeks or months! I would hope as the consequence is cancer that it would be in the next few weeks

Lovedatforme · 04/06/2024 14:02

Had another ultrasound today and there is still remains from my MC so need to take another course of misoprostol 😓I just want this to be over with so I can try again. No idea how long I'm going to have to wait.

Ella31 · 04/06/2024 14:39

Sorry @Figtree11 how are you doing emotionally xxx

That's so close @ThelastRolo20 I've every finger crossed it will be ok.

Thanks @Ella31 i have been struggling, compounded with the due date for my first MC being in the next week. But I’m doing a bit better today I think

@ThelastRolo20 im glad things are going ok. But can really appreciate how you must be feeling. How many weeks will you be by next Thursday?

It's so understandable that you'd feel very low and the upcoming due dates are so hard. Make sure you plan something nice for that day. The other ladies might join in here but I've had a few due dates come and go now and they actually were ok. The lead up was the worst to them. The day itself was durable weirdly enough. You are stronger than you think.

That's so hard. Focus on your recovery now and the rest will come with it. Keep telling yourself that the next healthy baby needs a healthy body and that's what you are aiming for. It will be ok

@Figtree11 I agree with @Ella31, I found the lead up to the due date harder than the day itself ❤️ I have another due date in August too.

Next Thursday I should be around 8.5 weeks. First baby passed between 9 and 10 weeks though so as always it'll be short lived reassurance but reassurance none the less. Pregnancy after loss is a whole different ball game. I still find seeing obviously pregnant women very difficult, still seems out of reach but I'm grateful to be where I am today.

As you can see, a whole myriad of thoughts x

And that's why I think it's good for you to stay on the thread @ThelastRolo20 as long as you want to 😅 you can rant away your worries here. Everyone gets it.

I remember driving my oh mad when I was pregnant with the boys because he couldn't get it that every twinge in my body scared me after the losses

@Ella31 @ThelastRolo20 thank you for being so kind. I’m actually going on holiday at the weekend so will be a good distraction from the due date & all this stuff going on.

@ThelastRolo20 that’s so understandable. I know if I get pregnant again I will be very anxious. I have everything crossed for you for next week.

I’m almost 5 wks post d&c, still a faint line & been getting tummy ache the last few days. Not cramps, so I’m not sure what is going on. Hoping to god it’s nothing to do with the molar & is just my uterus shrinking or doing whatever it needs to do

Ncl31 · 04/06/2024 21:09

@Ella31 excellent news. Hope you managed to BD!

@Ella31 excellent news. Hope you managed to BD!

We did and tbh it's been the most chilled month since my boys. Even when my ovulation was stalled, I was actually ok. We did every other day up until 2 days ago and have bd since the highs

How are you? It's good to see you pop up here again.

Ncl31 · 05/06/2024 07:17

@Ella31 ah I’m so pleased to hear that. Let’s hope being chilled has helped you out this cycle.
im trying to step back a little and chill too. I found I was obsessing over mumsnet and in turn obsessing over my cycle. OvuSense hasn’t detected ovulation yet, but according to Premom OPKs and BBT I’m 4DPO.
weirdly the cycle I got my BFP OvuSense never detected ovulation that month either.
I won’t be disappointed if I don’t get a BFP this cycle because I’ll be able to enjoy cocktails on holiday.

I've s feeling it won't detect ovulation this month either as I've missed a night or two. But I'm covered so I'm just stepping back, letting go a bit control wise.

I totally get it. Bar the two threads I'm on, I'm not going into the ttc page at all anymore. It was too much.

Thank you both for sharing/reminding me that this is the best approach!

Day 9 of flashy face on Clearblue, negative Easy@Home cheapies, 20 days post D&C. I'm sure I haven't ovulated yet, and I think it might still be a while away. I didn't ovulate the whole time I was breastfeeding (20 months), then ovulated for the first time (resulting in this miscarriage, sadly) exactly 2 weeks after the last feed. So I think my body is quite sensitive to any disruption, maybe it didn't even 'start the clock' until all HCG was gone. Who knows! I'm hopeful that it'll happen at some point this cycle, but I really should be obsessing less, and just enjoying the other areas of my life. We are on hols in a couple of weeks and I was hoping to ovulate and finish the TWW before we go away, so at least I'd know - but it's silly putting a deadline on these things, and in the grand scheme of things it makes very little difference.

Ncl31 · 05/06/2024 09:17

@Ella31 yeah I’m just following the 2 threads too. I’ve not even looked at others. I started a 12 weeks secondment into a department manager roll this week also so my spare time is being spent overthinking work right now. 2 weeks tomorrow I go to Dublin for a few days which will be nice and then the week after I’m off to Santorini and Cyprus. ive briefly checked cycle lengths against my holiday and it looks as though my next fertile week will be while I’m away so there will be lots of holiday DTD.

@ExTriTrying it sounds like you’ve been through a lot over the last few years and your body will be trying to adjust back. I’m sure it will happen soon enough for you. I didn’t do any testing after my mc until I had a period. I just let my body do its thing.

I can imagine it's such an anxious time, I already have anxiety about getting pregnant again and I'm not even close to it happening. Sending you all the positive vibes x

ThelastRolo20 · 05/06/2024 11:59

@Figtree11 I hope you have a lovely time away, where are you going? X

@Ella31 I'm glad you've been able to relax more this cycle - is today the start of the TWW?

ThelastRolo20 · 05/06/2024 12:00

@Lovedatforme thank you so much, I think there's just a lot of anxiety whether you're TTC or pregnant after loss 😅 how are you doing? X

Figtree11 · 05/06/2024 12:28

Thanks @ThelastRolo20 im going to Italy. I also got my urine testing pot through from the molar clinic, so at least the ball is rolling now with monitoring
