@Ella31 I go day of the peak as ovulating as the surge happens overnight, it just takes time to show in urine (normally later in the day).

So when you see your peak it means the surge happened probably 12 or so hours ago! X

Oh! This is interesting but I've been thinking of it the wrong way round then! Wonder if it has been knocking our timings to be less than optimal. Xx

I'm still getting feint lines on pregnancy tests since my MMC, will I still ovulate if this is happening or do all hormones need to be gone completely?

Usually the tests need to be clear in order to ovulate as if there's still hcg in your system, your body still thinks your pregnant. It can take up to 8/9 weeks to ovulate again and as early as two weeks. Everyone is different.

Ugh so frustrating, hopefully it will go clear soon 🙏

I know, it's so hard and difficult emotionally too. Try and treat it like you have your af, it's just time off for your body to recover. You will get there xxx

@Lovedatforme I'm sorry you're still seeing faint positives. It took 19 days for me to get a negative after MMC and I didn't ovulate that month. I had my first proper period 4 weeks to the date of my surgery. I then got pregnant and just had a chemical pregnancy. You'll get there, just take each day as it comes. If you're still testing positive after 3 weeks then get in touch with epu incase of retained pregnancy xxx

Thank you! I'm sorry to hear about your losses, it's so tough!

I'm back with my dr tomorrow for another scan to make sure everything is gone so fingers crossed. I just want to try again.

DonnaWhat · 09/06/2024 13:24

Hi lovely, with my two MMC it took 3/3.5 weeks to get a complete negative, however my first period arrived 4 weeks after the MC each time, so I must have ovulated around two weeks after when my tests were faint.

I think the drop, and being under a certain amount can still trigger ovulation! Are you doing OPKs? I know the feeling of wishing for a negative test, it's so hard xx

DonnaWhat · 09/06/2024 19:11

@Ella31 This was my chart last month when I had my chemical. I have everything crossed for you this month 🥰🥰

@Ella31 I'm good, please to see my chart increasing. Will you be testing in a week? Xx

ExTriTrying · 09/06/2024 20:40

Still no ovulation here. Only 24 days post d&c, so I know it's early days. But just feeling quite fed up of peeing on sticks! I didnt ovulate at all whilst breastfeeding, so was peeing on sticks at least once daily for around 2 months before we conceived (gradually decreasing breastfeeding through Feb/March before just completely stopping and ovulating 2 weeks later). Then obviously miscarried. I realise in the grand scheme of things it's not been that long, but would just so like to see a solid smiley/two lines!

Not long but the frustration is totally understandable. My gp did say dtd every other day is the most effective way if opks are stressing you out

Thanks.

Tbh I like knowing when it's happened, and also DTD is complicated by my LO being a real night owl, I usually end up falling asleep when she does, so DTD every other day all month would probably result in exhaustion for all of us!

Helpfully, Easy@Home shows where my OPKs started hitting my normal 'baseline' after HCG reduced. It's only been 15 days since then, and I do usually have a longish cycle (30-35 days) so I think I'm just being impatient. I did joke to OH that I can pee on all the sticks I like, but usually when it's actually happening it's abundantly obvious from CM so I don't know why I bother. I do like looking back on the chart when it finally happens as I find it reassuring - just hope it happens some time this year...

MisssMarion · 10/06/2024 11:10

I'm out this month 😔😔 BFN this morning at 11-12 dpo.
I knew the odds each month are only like 20% but I couldn't help but hope, especially as I was going to be on holiday in Greece to test... I thought maybe the universe was going to give us that after our MMC in March, a bfp during our trip. Instead we got a bfn and a toddler with a 39C fever and who's too scared of the see to go in 🫤 (but I'm so thankful for her of course)
We've now been trying for 6 months, so of course I'm getting worried, although technically it's been 4 cycles, and we got pregnant 1 out of 4. Is it too early to talk to my gp? (I'm over 35)

I don't think it's ever to early to talk to a go when you are worried as stress has a huge impact. You've had a mc so your body could be out of whack too. Sending hugs xxx

Could I be peaking early? I'm only cd10! Definitely not covered my bases.
