Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

You should definitely take a First Response test, it's the best test to detect early pregnancy in my experience! I was a classic early tester too!

Also - do you count day of ovulation in dpo? I ovulated on the 5th, so am I five or six dpo?

I count the day after as 1dpo so I’d put you at 5dpo @Cherry85

Depends how you check. With OPKs it’s usually the day after you peak as ovulation day. So 2 days after peak = 1dpo

Does anyone know if it's actually basically impossible to have symptoms before implantation? Ie. Anything experienced would be exactly the same with rising progesterone at this stage in the cycle regardless of whether sperm had met egg? Or does the body know what's happened at some level? Chemical spies in the fallopian tubes?

I seemingly have quite a lot of creamy discharge and weird pelvic twinges but I'm not not normally rooting about my parts like a creep so no idea if this is totally standard.

If you ever saw Fight Club, this line referenced the fornication ineptitude of our black and white friends:

I think the fertilised egg produces hgc, but at low levels, then it increases fast after implantation. Amazing so much is going on in such a small amount of time!

@Hopethisendswell still lots of watery CM with light cramps. And the symptoms of yesterday evening and top is an itchy nipple. Singular! The left one to be precise 🤣🤣🤣

@toddlermam @Ontheflipside_ considering they are there to be used for an early test I just cannot bring myself to do it 😂 I think I paid the same price on Amazon to be fair! Can’t believe they’re so hard to get a hold of and so pricey!

I’ve been feeling rubbish the past couple of days- sore throat, headache and tired! But today it’s ramped up, I’ve had dull achey cramps and continuation of spotting but slippy EW spotting but this past hour I’ve got more red spotting 😔 period is definitely on the way but it’s soo early and only at 7dpo!

I have barely.any symptoms today. Slight irritable mood swings but honestly nothing to write home about. Also slight twinges and on the occasion slight sore boobs but again, only for a few seconds. Bloated and absolutely no CM.

Also, turns out my cervical position changes depending on my position. I always check on a toilet (I've tried one leg on the bath etc and it's just not consistent with how I started measuring it on the loo) and if I lean forward too much/ sit up too straight or lean back it's totally different. So I've been mining around for absolutely no reason as I've not sat in a consistent position I wouldn't say 😂 if I had to give it an average, I'd say medium high and soft.

But I'm super conflicted this month. 1 minute I'm devo convinced I'm out and the other I'm planning Christmas Day as my due date would be 23rd Dec 😂

Most of my symptoms have dropped off 😔 but still have either watery or lotiony CM and cervix is high and soft. I normally get a headache by this point in the month, but it hasn't happened at all.
I am grumpy though, but not sure if that's any different from normal 😆only thing is I can "feel" the waistband on my jeans even though it's not tight and I'd lost 1lb this week 🤷‍♀️ but think it's water weight after ovulation?

Uh oh if this is the twin thread then my enthusiasm has disappeared 😳 we're about to buy a new house and only factored in nursery fees for one child when deciding what we can afford mortgage wise!

My work is crazy busy this week so at least time is going pretty quick. 2 days until the weekend when it's testing time!!!

Had quite intense pinching / cramp on one side about an hour ago for a few mins.

The watery / slippery CM keeps on coming 🤷🏼‍♀️ no idea what that’s about. Deffo had none last week as remember thinking just how dry I was !

Also guys, what is the likely hood of my period showing tomorrow or Friday? CD24 today, spotting (with the upgrade of some fresh looking blood today😔) since CD21… usually a 27/28day cycle but last month was a freak month of 25 days, although I ovulated early for me at CD13. I go back to work tomorrow and I want to mentally prepare myself 🙈 I’ve tried to book in with the GP to get some tests but I’ve been told it’s at least 4 weeks until they could possibly see me… it’s so crazy the wait time!

@MissEmily5 I'm really hoping still it's implantation bleeding for you 😔is there anything you can do to keep your mind off it?

It’s actually my fourth, but my youngest is 11 so it all feels new to me again. This is our third cycle TTC .. I’ve told myself that I’ll keep myself busy and not even think about it but day two and I’ve failed!!

This is our third cycle! Hoping third time lucky 🍀
