Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

It was bound to be negative, I just can't help myself!! I'm going to hold off tomorrow and test on Thursday morning. I'm meeting a friend for drinks on Thursday evening so I'd like to know if there is a possibility. On the other hand though, I think I'd feel 'out' if I didn't get a bfp at 9dpo so not sure I want to go to work feeling all sombre. Oh the cycle....

Gosh lots of messages to catch up on! Interesting chat about sex and pressure on partners, I made the mistake of telling mine it was peak day and we absolutely had to have sex last month, and it was a mistake. Too much pressure and he couldn't finish. I got upset as I'd been pinning my hopes on hitting that day which then made him feel worse... it was a spiral. So now we know that at times we will have sex more frequently, but I don't tell him which day is peak.

Still not symptom spotting. I've had stomach ache, felt cold all day, still got lots of watery cm and my nipples are running against my bra like crazy but not symptom spotting, oh no.

I think I underestimate the effect it has on our partners.

Most of my symptoms have stopped except tender stomach 🤷‍♀️

It looks like I really am ovulating now. I just got a peak OPK (negative hcg test so it’s not pregnancy). It’s about 6 days later than normal but my cycles can be a bit irregular like that. I dtd with my partner, we are knackered now.

I was a bit iffy before on whether I had or not but now I’m glad it’s clear so my partner and I can finally stop having sex for a bit 😂 I think we’ve done it almost every single day. Absolutely exhausted

Do you think it’ll be okay if we don’t have sex tomorrow? I know that peak OPK means that ovulation will happen in about a day. We’ve dtd past 5 days in a row.

Yay! At least you know you caught it now! I would do it tomorrow if you can be bothered, but it's most effective when you've got lots of sperm waiting so I really wouldn't worry if it doesn't happen today

I had my first positive pregnancy test dream last night! I'm sure it means nothing and probably this thread kicking off that has it on my mind more than normal, but that's the first one since TTC this baby so taking it as a positive sign 🤞🏼 how is everyone else this morning?

@Plumchumm everything I've read says peak day and the day before that are the most important ones with the highest chance. I think you're well covered if you don't fancy it tonight 👍

@Ontheflipside_ I've never had a positive test dream, I did have a dream the other week where I had a baby but left it in a supermarket 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a twin pregnancy dream a week ago which worried me hahah. Never dreamt of or even thought of twins. I hope that wasn’t a sign 😂

@YorkshirePeridot totally get this! This is has happened with me and my husband- it’s soo tricky because you know you only have such a short period of time but you don’t want to add pressure at the same time!

@Plumchumm glad you got your peak for sure! I’m sure you’ve done all you can do even if you can’t tomorrow- you’ve give it your best shot:)

@Ontheflipside_ I have joined you in the BFN club this morning! I couldn’t help but test today with it being my OH birthday, so wanted that BFP! Really don’t think it’s my month again, still spotting but very lightly. I think it’s been the stretchy/EW brown CM which has planted this niggling hope!

Back in Feb the day I ovulated, I saw 2 sets of identical twins. Then the day after I saw another 2 sets and twin lambs being born, then the day after that I saw another 2 sets and the day after that I saw a social media announcement for identical twins!! I wasn't even pregnant but convinced myself it was identical twins 😂😂

@Plumchumm @Ontheflipside_ I’ve dreamt for the past couple of days too! But I have had that in previous months as well- I’d love twins to be honest and they run in both of our families 👶👶

@MissEmily5 as much as I think I'd like twins, the nursery fees would bury me 😂 It's already hard enough with 1 lol

Both me and DP are twins (one identical one not)! Kinda cool. No further twins in the family since us. Maybe it’s all hanging on us 🤣 uh oh

@YorkshirePeridot I’ve had similar dreams !! My dreams are definitely more vivid recently. Normally wake up and feel like I’ve not had a dream at all but now it’s really detailed.

Although last nights dream was that I was a lesbian. May refrain from telling that one to DP.

Totally get the not telling DP about peak day. I’m the same. He must know the week cos I give him the come on more 🤣. It’s difficult cos part of me wants to tell him. The day after ov (2 days after peak) we were gonna DTD again as following SMEP but he was too tired. Then the next day I was sad and told him why it was important and he said I should’ve told him.

Honestly! Why is making babies this hard.

We can't win 😆I had to explain again that it was OK to have sex as it was unlikely I'd get pregnant now - went through the whole ovulation chat with him. I said he could have as much as he liked! The response..."but I'm sooo worn out" 😂

Was hoping this was the thread where EVERYONE gets BFP, now worried everyone gets pregnant....with twins...

I tried to tell my partner about the narrow window of possibility and despite being an educated man he scoffed and said "humans are not pandas. If this was true there wouldn't be any people". 🙄

That is hilarious. I don’t know anything about pandas, is that what they’re like? 😂😂

They are dire at getting it on haha. Really low sex drive and only fertile a few days a year.

I have pcos so I may as well be a panda 🤣
