Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

Has anyone on here been diagnosed with low progesterone? I have all the signs and symptoms but this month I was feeling a little more positive as I didn't really spot before AF and I thought I'd officially finished on Thursday but now I've got loads of blood, just had to put a tampon in 😭 if you have been diagnosed with it, was spotting a symptom for you?

I also never spotted until I came off contraception in November. Even when I came off it in over the years gone by

I did a day 21 online order progesterone test. My result was 27.1 nmol/L, which is under the 30 level to indicate definite ovulation, but the doctor who commented said it was likely and maybe I'd done the test a day or so out. I might test again across a few days, as it remains an area of concern.

@Ontheflipside_ have you had your levels checked or just asking? Only it could still be body getting used to coming off the pill. Can sometimes take a year. I had spotting pre and post AF with the pill and also the copper coil. Latter was due to it being in the wrong place tho 🫣. I spot less now, maybe 1-2 days pre AF but do spot more after. Maybe 3 days. I think it’s quite normal. Spotting because of low prg is mainly between AFs I think so like mid cycle (but you can get ov spotting)

No haven't actually had my levels checked, so just asking. I have a gut feeling that something is off. When I went for my private scan a few weeks back, the sonographer recommended I got my thyroid and iron levels checked but didn't say why, just precautionary I think.

I've always thought spotting was normal too, but everything I read gives really strange info because it's all 'oh this can be normal, but I can also be XYZ'

Also, not sure if this makes a difference but I was on jaydess coil. It is a hormonal one but not the pill or copper coil.

Sorry @Cherry85 😢 I’m not in my three week wait after no AF! Haven’t tested since 16dpo which was bfn. Presumed late ov so if no AF in a week I’ll test again. Really upset as it just holts the TTC process ! 😔

@ToeBeans24 sounds like we’re in a similar situation! Although I’m “18dpo” still BFN, but no sign of AF! I took an OPK test yesterday out of curiosity and got a flashing smiley face…so I thought my ovulation was happening now but I didn’t think that ovulation could push back/stop periods? I thought that some months you don’t ovulate and then you get AF regardless? I’ll check that with the doctor when I hear back from them today.

The OOH doctors on Friday suggested I go to the walk in to check if my obs were okay and nothing sinister was going on and that I should book in for an emergency appointment today, the nurse at the walk in also said I need a blood test to double check, espically considering my sister tested up to 5/6 days late after her super light period and still got BFN (she didn’t test anymore after that because she thought there was no point!) and was pregnant. So I’m just waiting for a phone call now and I’m also going to ask them to check my progesterone too. I’ve had such strange pains in my stomach, nothing like period pains- more like indigestion which is so odd, it started happening last week and continued… don’t know if it’s linked to my lack of period but seems like a strange coincidence!

@MissEmily5 hope you get some answers later! I’m 19dpo according to positive opk earlier in cycle. However going by symptoms including EWCM I think I may only be 10-11dpo. Who knows. All so bizarre. Haven’t tested since Friday. No spotting / bleeding and no sign AF is on her way.

boobs heavy / sore yesterday and today. Going to try my best and hold out til weds before testing again.

I hate this! Just want BFP or AF so I can start again.

The one I did on Friday was a less sensitive one (non Frer - was Morrisons). I may try a Morrisons one later to see.

Thank you! Just goes to show - don’t give up hope! My Morrisons one is v v v faint but I’m assuming that’s because it’s a lot less sensitive

@ToeBeans24 I’d totally go off the FR test anyway! It’s a strong positive and not even with FMU- definitely test again tomorrow morning and I’m sure you’ll see a much darker line :) How exciting!!

I hope this is also the case for me but I think I’m defeated this month- no period still or spotting and a lot of creamy CM but at this point who bloody knows! Would love to join you for a Christmas babe- just need the doctor to ring back!! 🙈😂

I spoke to the GP today to say my cycles have changed, spotting outside of period, whole cycle changing lengths all the time etc and they've said to keep phoning every day to get an appointment because I need to see them to investigate more.

@Louki35 sorry about your sad news, I hope you are managing.

@ToeBeans24 this is blood tremendous, congratulations! Excellent work your body.

@ToeBeans24 I'm so curious to know when this actually happened for you given your mismatched ov test and EWCM and negative tests! Whether you have just had low pregnancy hormones while you've been testing or conceived late.

@sirensong no idea! Was using Wondfo tests at 12dpo which are 10iMU so who knows. Should’ve picked it up unless late implantation.

Last time with chemical I got a v faint bfp at 14dpo but that was on a Morrisons 25iMU test.

I got a bfn on one of those Friday just gone so I def think late ovulation. I reckon looking at symptoms and dates I am between 10-12dpo. My Morrisons test today is darker than I had with my chemical pregnancy at 14dpo so I’m hoping that’s a positive sign.

Have more frers coming tomorrow. Will test tomorrow or every other day.

Im due AF tomorrow according to my app 🤔 I don’t know if anything will come of it I haven’t tested since Saturday I think it was. We have so much going on just now so I’ll keep you posted
