Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

Guys I’m so upset. I’ve given myself BV :( it’s something I always get when ttc just from not being careful with how much sperm is in there and leaving it inside. Now I have to go on antibiotics because either way BV increases risk of miscarriage and I’m also worried the antibiotics are also gonna affect whether the egg implants. Just can’t win.

Oh goodness, i didn't even know that could cause BV! @Plumchumm hopefully you've caught it early and can get it sorted! Can you not get treatment for it OTC?

The only other treatment is pessaries and I’m worried about putting actual stuff up my vagina while implantation could be occurring. And yeah it’s horrible, apparently sperm upsets the balance in there and I’m particularly sensitive - I either get BV or thrush. Haven’t had it in a year tho so I thought I was safe. I’m really upset that this could affect implantation as I was really hopeful :(

@Plumchumm could you call out of hours? To see if they could prescribe you antibiotics that you can get started asap? Just explain your situation and maybe exaggerate the symptoms more?

Just read on NHS website that it doesn't cause issues in the majority of pregnancies so hopefully it won't affect implantation. 🤞🏼

I've previously bought the antibiotics required to treat that via Superdrug Doctor (same day collection) in order to deal with gum bleeding. A cursory google suggests there's no evidence that antibiotics will affect anything.

I just thought fuck it and finally broke out the wine to watch the sunset after that botched (but I assume still negative) test earlier on day 9/10. Then lo and behold I've just noticed some faintly pink colour on the loo roll. Probably nothing but would be typical!

I’ve done the boots online doctor thing, they usually prescribe it and you just pay a certain amount. I don’t mind paying as I don’t wanna go through the whole gp thing. They review it and then approve and you can pick it up the next day.

Yeah I read that it doesn’t affect pregnancies but I hope it doesn’t affect things before it’s like latched on, you know? The last time I had an early loss - I was on uti antibiotics. I then later found out I was pregnant and then a week later lost it. Dunno if that had something to do with it :(

Have you heard of Demannose? I get it from Amazon but it helps to balance your Ph.
It really helps with UTI’s ect, could be a shout in prevention for you too? 🫧😊🤍

Sorry to hear @Plumchumm, I can see why that would be stressful. In theory antibiotics shouldn't affect anything so hopefully you're still in.

I am absolutely exhausted today! Had a nap after work yesterday, slept about 10 hours last night and then napped again this afternoon. It's not something I normally associate with getting my period. Had some light pink spotting all day too. Trying not to read too much into it all.

I have sensitive boobs today tho, not sore or agony but I’m aware they are there lol if that make sense?
I’m not to sure about the whole ‘spotting’ thing, I never had that with my first x 🤍😊🫧

@Plumchumm sorry hun, that does sound stressful..even though I'm sure it won't affect anything it's still not a nice thing to deal with. Really hope the symptoms eased up soon from it

9 DPO and BFN 😢...gutted

@Cherry85 still super early when I got my bfp yesterday I googled and apparently less than 10% of tests at 9dpo are positive.

Do you have many symptoms?

@onethingonly yeah cramps consistently since ovulation, a couple of sharp ones, bloating, constipation, headaches, fatigue and emotional AF. Lol if I'm not I'm gonna go to the doctor 🤣

Yeah I know, I've psyched myself out by testing too early.... I've done about 6 tests already cos I had them and need to keep reminding myself I can't even do a clear blue ED until tomorrow 🙈

Still early @Cherry85 💕 plenty of time for a BFP. I started testing really early too, I just couldn't help it. It's so hard to wait isn't it?! Hope there are more BFP in the days to come for everyone xx

I've spent all night having very realistic dreams I had a BFP. Very surreal but comforting at the same time.

Feel it'll be a BFN today though as low cervix and a bit 'drier' than yesterday. Due AF on Wed/Thu so that works out about right.

Morning ladies. App says AF is due today but could also be tomorrow. Took a test yesterday 11dpo and it was negative so not going to take another until Tuesday, unless I come on before. I was convinced I was going to wake up to bleeding this morning as I had cramps and was so nauseous last night and mood swings. Still think it will come, but kind of happy it's not here yet as my luteal phase is getting longer 🙌🏼 very bloated and cervix is still very high but getting firmer. Otherwise no symptoms of anything today. Baby dust to all

Looks like my period arrived overnight. Feels early at 10dpo, disappointed 😞

@Hopethisendswell I assumed it was full flow due to the cleaning up I had to do this morning but I suppose there's the gravity assistance effect when first getting out of bed (I know tmi but I'm trying to put it politely!) I'll get a better picture of whether it's full AF or more like spotting throughout the day I guess. Sorry about your bfn 💕
