I went to reply and you were right, the thread was full so I couldnt post a link to a new thread, also, because it's a new thread it wont give me a prediction to tag when I type a name, so I have just copied and paste the names off of everyone who posted on the very last page of the thread, I hope anyone else can find it OK. Sorry, maybe there is an easier better way... if anyone else can remember extra names and spellings, please tag 🙂

@Ladyinpink1 no worries, thanks for sharing! Mine was only thyroid function and something else, that's a great list there. I'm going to ask about it when I go for mine. When do you get results? Have you had the actual test yet?

@Wise0wl big hugs to you today ♥️

moosey89 · 24/04/2024 07:46

@Wise0wl I hope everything goes ok today, thinking of you x

ThelastRolo20 · 24/04/2024 07:47

@Wise0wl I'm also thinking of you lovely xx

Ladyinpink1 · 24/04/2024 08:15

Yes had the bloods yesterday, she took quite alot of blood though, 1 vile for each test; so 8 viles, so between that and just finishing my period, I'm topping up my iron the rest of this week or I will have no energy lol.

Yes I think you should ask about them when you go, and then 2 of the tests are the ones that let you know whether you should be taking asprin or not which we all had been wondering about before. Results in 6 to 8 weeks by post even if nothing to report they said they will still write to me so that's good. I would love to be pregnant by then though. Hoping maybe eating healthy this cycle might bring good news.
How are you feeling about things with you having a slightly dif cycle with the ov pains plus lots of cm? Also did you track this cycle or do relaxed again? x

OP posts:
ThelastRolo20 · 24/04/2024 08:33

@Ladyinpink1 really good they're being thorough! But yeah, iron top up sounds sensible 😂

Like you say, hopefully you'll be pregnant by the time they come back, but if not I hope you get some answers

@samilicious I've never had ovulation pains so afraid I can't comment - it's been quite helpful to know when it was without tracking I suppose! How are you doing this cycle? Have you been tracking?

Wise0wl · 24/04/2024 11:33

You are so lovely, thank yoy @Ladyinpink1 @samilicious @moosey89 & @ThelastRolo20. Hanging on in there and everything looks ok, with no cause seen for the bleeding (good, but I’d love an answer!). I’m booked in again in a few weeks, but to go back if any more bleeding occurs.

@Ladyinpink1 glad they were so thorough with your tests!

ThelastRolo20 · 24/04/2024 11:44

@Wise0wl that's great news 🥰 remind me how many weeks you are now? X

moosey89 · 24/04/2024 11:46

@Wise0wl oh that's great news. Doesn't stop the worry completely but hopefully has helped a little.

UrsulaSings123 · 24/04/2024 13:10

@Wise0wl thats great your scan went ok. Good luck that everything continues as it should!

I just wanted to let you all know that I am planning on coming off here for the next month or so. I have got really obsessive with reading threads and researching things and it's really not doing my mental health any favours. There's been a few other things going on in life (mortgage rejected, change in financial circumstances) that are causing a bit of stress as well and I need to take some time to focus on things other than TTC and get my head more relaxed. I realise it's only been a couple of months since the MC so if I'm as crazy as this now I know I need to get it in check before it escalates! Didn't want to just disappear because when people disappear I always wonder if they are OK and what's happened to them (although I'm sure most of you won't even notice haha!).

Good luck everyone! Hoping to come back in the future and see all your BFP's!

ThelastRolo20 · 24/04/2024 14:14

@UrsulaSings123 I completely understand, wishing you all the best and hope to see you on a thread soon with a BFP xx

CluelessInLondon · 24/04/2024 14:45

@UrsulaSings123 Sounds like a very good plan to look after yourself first and foremost - it is very easy to get caught up in trawling the internet for stories (both positive and negative) and end up going down lots of rabbit holes and exacerbating anxieties. Take care of yourself and I hope you can get yourself refreshed and in a better headspace for whatever comes next. ❤

Ladyinpink1 · 24/04/2024 20:12

Thank you @ThelastRolo20 hope you are having a lovely holiday 😎 x

That sounds like better news @Wise0wl x

I will miss your chats @UrsulaSings123 but I understand, and I hope when you come back it's with a bfp 🙂 x

@Wise0wl yay so glad everything went ok ♥️ such a weird thing to not have answers for though, totally get you there

@UrsulaSings123 totally understand ♥️ sorry to hear you have so much going on. I'm sure you'll be telling us about your BFP and things changing around in no time

@Ladyinpink1 are you doing anything in particular with the healthy eating? I really want to start batch cooking to make sure I'm eating better. I was relaxed this cycle, though I tried CB ov test when I had those pains and just got refer to manual 🙄 fingers crossed you'll be pregnant by he time they come through! I feel intriguied to see how long my cycle is, not holding out much hope as been really stressy again. Keep getting really bad short term memory loss and losing stuff

Ladyinpink1 · 26/04/2024 07:12

@samilicious been calorie counting because I have 6 pounds to loose (I actually noticed that's one difference between all the times I have fallen pregnant before, and now... I am carrying an extra few pounds, not sure if it would matter but anything is worth a try at this point lol) I have just been eating more protein (low fat cheeses etc) and eating porridge with fruit, having salads with advacado with my dinners, I'm still having treats but just trying to add more healthier foods 🙂
Batch cooking is great, a good motivation to eat better.

The invalid test 🙈, oh no. That was you being told, nope, it's a relaxed cycle lol I have hope for you because although you have been busy this month with party planning etc, you haven't been as stressy with ttc because you have been distracted, nice relaxed eggs 🙂. When is af due? X

OP posts:
samilicious · 03/05/2024 05:34

@Ladyinpink1 that's a lovely idea and one I'm running with from now on! AF due Sunday. On holiday atm and had a tiny tiny bit of spotting in CM today so will see how it goes.
I've been thinking about what you said and it was the same for me about being lighter and conceiving, also just been comfort eating to the point don't actually really enjoy the food any more so going to follow a similar plan to you. They have vegan pancakes on my all inc buffet though so maybe when we're home 😂

How are you doing now? Where are you in your cycle? How are you feeling?

Had a friend's baby shower on Sunday and although it was lovely and felt fine during, just spontaneously burst into tears the second I got in my car home. Her daughter is the same as mine and we've done everything at same stages in life since nursery ourselves.

samilicious · 03/05/2024 05:37

Also not sure about anyone else but I find being a bit heavier than normal (for me) triggering atm because I look about 4-5 months pregnant wearing tight clothes after a big meal. So many pregnant women here on holiday. I had a dream someone accidentally congratulated me last night, and another that I came on really heavy and was crying about it. Maybe preparing me for both happening next few days 😂

Ladyinpink1 · 03/05/2024 20:52

Hi @samilicious oh lovely, where are you on holiday? Hope you are having a lovely time. Pink spotting, is that normal for you or could it be a good sign?
Yes I am trying to be good, and I actually feel more hopeful this cycle because I have been eating better healthier foods, although I am off it a bit atm because it's bank holiday weekend. And yes I defo look like that, at all times of the day lol. I'm sorry about the baby shower, that must of been so tough. I dread being invited to one.

Will you wait to see if AF shows up or test? Any symptoms?

I am 3dpo, so another 10 days before af is due x

samilicious · 04/05/2024 06:26

@Ladyinpink1 in Turkey 😊 been to the hotel a few times, it's lovely! I feel like easing off for things like bank holiday keeps the momentum for healthy eating more long term though. Eat a bit of rubbish then start craving the healthy stuff after. Hopefully that's it now baby shower wise for a while. Just dreading some of my other friends announcing pregnancies but might not be for a few months yet.

A good sign for me - I think I had it a few cycles ago but was followed up by AF within 24hrs and it's been about 48 since and no other AF signs. I almost packed a test then decided against it, so I'll wait until I'm home. Would be 4 days late then, so would be a sure sign of something

Were you back testing this cycle or did you say that was going to be next cycle? Did you dtd much?

Ladyinpink1 · 04/05/2024 06:58

@samilicious I dread that too, ooh lovely, I have been to Turkey once before, it was lovely and I love all the fake brands shopping over there. Have you bought anything nice?

You are right, although, I had a glass of port and lots of peanut m&m's last night before bed and I woke up at about 12:30 feeling so sick, it was awful, feel fine again this morning but I think it was because I have been eating good then I overloaded my body with e numbers and sugar so maybe eat a bit less sugar next time lol.

Ooh very good very hopeful for you, is this cycle 8 for you or did I make that up? Well done not packing a test, you have great willpower.
I tracked with opks just this cycle, going back to full tracking next cycle. We dtd 5 days in a row but last time was positive opk day, would of liked to do ov day too but think we started a little early lol wbu? x

OP posts:
samilicious · 04/05/2024 10:30

@Ladyinpink1 haha I forgot about your love of port! Good your body is having that reaction though, keeping your blood sugar in check. I eat so much sugar and am the heaviest ever, need some healthy habits back because I'm feeling it physically and mentally not looking after myself.

So hard to keep up the momentum isn't it! Are you tracking bbt next time? Do you do that on the watch you mentioned or do you have a thermometer?

No havent bought anything this time - we're on a big resort so don't really leave it! Not much around the area apart from the hotel complex

HerbaceousPerennial · 04/05/2024 11:48

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me rejoining this thread as I’ve had another MMC. Be a little while before I’m technically TTC again as still recovering but hoping this miscarriage has been slightly less of a shitshow than the last one and therefore won’t be too long. I’ve been lurking anyway and enjoying the chat!

We'll be here for you when you're ready to start again ❤️ I really hope your recovery goes smoothly and you can try again soon

Ladyinpink1 · 04/05/2024 21:39

Honestly I am off the port (well for now lol) after last night, it was only a glass though, maybe the m&ms, they have like a billion E numbers too. Yes I am the same, I have been feeling better since starting to be good and I am determined to get my weight down... think that will help ttc too (and feel better for the summer too.
Is it roasting hot out there? You really have such good will power with not testing yet. Hoping af never arrives for you

Yes going to track everything I can next cycle lol. I actually had been using a thermometer internally, it has given me very accurate readings and you don't need to worry as much about outside variables altering it. I x

I'm so sorry @HerbaceousPerennial I really feel for you, it's an awful thing when it happens again. I hope you are coping OK with everything and that we can talk to you soon. x

OP posts:
samilicious · 05/05/2024 06:43

Oh @HerbaceousPerennial I'm so sorry to hear that. Big hugs :( hope things are a little smoother this time. I've missed you! Just wish you were back under different circumstances ♥️

@Ladyinpink1 it's pretty warm! Windy as well which is nice. Gone a bit cooler last few days but not bad for early May. I can't call it this time, no symptoms either way. I don't feel like I've been healthy enough to catch, but we'll see. Aww no - not off the port with its fortified goodness! Deffo the M&Ms I bet. If you don't mind me asking, how do you do it internally? How far do you insert it and just straight in or touching anything?

Has anyone read It Starts with an Egg? Listening to the audiobook on holiday and it's so interesting learning the stats. 70% embryos don't make it to embed, most mcs occur because of chromosome abnormalities but most aren't picked up, we can control so much of our egg quality ourselves and it's not all predetermined. Not sure it's best as an audiobook though, lots of scientific words - keep having to rewind 😂
