Good for you @Rosyposy26 hopefully this is the start of something good

@Rockyslife so sorry. You are in the right place here

@Ella31 yes fingers crossed can restart again. Have to go back for a scan in 2 weeks to make sure everything has passed.

ThelastRolo20 · 16/04/2024 13:54

@DonnaWhat yeah, I'll pack Thursday night. God knows what I'll end up taking 😂 fertile week should start mid holiday which is good timing.

I'm convincing myself that my period is lighter this month though. I say that, I had a heavy day 1/2, but it's slowed down (I'm on day 3) and it would normally be 6 days long. Guess there's nothing I can do but wait and see, I'm probably over analysing anyway!

mumsince2021 · 16/04/2024 18:10

Hi all just dropping in to see how you are doing. I hope you're all keeping ok I definitely don't miss the TTC after loss and know it's not easy. I'm sure this thread will continue for a while as more people sadly have to join but hopefully all of you here just now will have some luck soon 🤞

RaisingCornishWildlings · 16/04/2024 18:14

Hey all
I feel awful the last couple of days- think I caught a bug on the aeroplane coming home- period I think due tomorrow or Thursday but my cycles are so erratic it might not be due til Friday! I did stupidly test yesterday morning and it was negative and I'm convinced I'm absolutely not pregnant.... I wonder that I didn't even ovulate this cycle as I hardly had any cm (and didn't do any ovulation testing)
I am feeling pretty despondent- like ahh well we won't have another one but then half a day later a wave of sadness

Getting your progsterone tested 7 days after ovulation discharge may help you know whats going on

RaisingCornishWildlings · 16/04/2024 18:26

There's no point as at the end of this journey now- we have 3 beautiful children and feeling like this last cherub wasn't supposed to be 💔 I'm almost 41 and the youngest turned 2 last month. No4 is should only be 2 months away from due date 🙁

@ThelastRolo20 you're my spirit packing animal. I'm also a throw it altogether last minute kind of person. I genuinely don't understand how people do it any sooner. I am though speaking as the person who forgot to take any shoes apart from the pair on their feet on honeymoon- so not exactly a good advert for the method! I hope you have an amazing time and that your timings work out nicely!

We are just approaching peak so have been DTD last few nights. 2 more I think should be it for this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@RaisingCornishWildlings

ThelastRolo20 · 16/04/2024 18:40

@RaisingCornishWildlings sorry about your bug and about the negative test. Was this going to be your last cycle of trying?

My due date is next Sunday, the day I'm due to ovulate. I've waited so long for this cycle I'm not even sure how excited I feel now it's here...

RaisingCornishWildlings · 16/04/2024 19:00

I think we have one last try at the start of May (around our wedding anniversary and then that's it.
Saturday will be tough- hugs to you x

@RaisingCornishWildlings I do mean to tag you this time as I've just seen your last two posts.

We are similar in that we will be trying til June (possibly July depending how my periods spread out). It's a strange feeling at the moment I feel positive about making an active decision to stop so that I'm in the driving seat rather than letting it control me. But I imagine it will be a grieving process almost when the time comes. IF it comes. Let's think positive. We have a chance still 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@ThelastRolo20 that sounds like a tough milestone. But it might be poetic in a way if this first cycle back at it is the one for you. Sending hugs and baby dust. Xx

ThelastRolo20 · 16/04/2024 19:27

@Onthedouble123 so glad you're my spirit packing animal, never understand how people pack days in advance! But yes, I'll likely forget something 🤦‍♀️

Best of luck this cycle, are you an early tester?? I'm feeling okay about the due date at the moment, it'll be the weekend we come back from holiday and there's a local beer festival to take my mind off it. Then back into my first TWW since December! Seems mad that it's been that long

It's so hard @RaisingCornishWildlings , particularly when dates get near. I can only tell you to keep hoping but to be honest i don't want to sound condescending either. I can only say I'm crossing fingers and toes for you every month. I really am.

This journey is so hard

ThelastRolo20 · 16/04/2024 19:29

@Onthedouble123 I think I've said before but we won't try for baby 2 indefinitely. Probably until the end of the year, after which I'll focus on the life I currently have with my daughter ❤️

@ThelastRolo20 due dates are horrific. It's this month a year ago I conceived my boys. I'm bricking it.

Enjoy your holiday. You deserve it.

Onthedouble123 · 16/04/2024 20:14

@mumsince2021 how are you getting on? Xx

MisssMarion · 16/04/2024 20:33

Hello ladies!
I'm really happy to be able to finally join this thread. I know it may sound weird but, as you all understand too well, graduating from the miscarriage thread to this one feels like such a big milestone! I had a MMC around the 6 week mark (I found out at 8 weeks) and went for surgical management a week after. And yesterday my period finally came back which means it's all behind us now (well, kinda, I don't know if it will ever really be) and we can TTC again soon! Exciting times (hopefully!)...

ThelastRolo20 · 16/04/2024 20:40

@MisssMarion welcome! I'm back on the TTC after a 3 month break. I had two back to back MMC (one at 12 weeks, one at 10 weeks). I'm on CD4 so we'll be aligned timing wise 🙂 will this be baby number 1 for you?

jellyfish2 · 16/04/2024 21:04

@MisssMarion nice to see you back! Glad you got your period. Hope you're doing ok 🩷

emmatcc1 · 16/04/2024 22:21

I’m on cd6 and last month I ovulated on cd20 and I’m hoping this time my ovulation will be sooner like it used to be. I did some calculations and it actually took us about 10 months (13cycles) to conceive last time maybe even less because we missed some ovulation times in between. I think that’s a pretty reasonable time and I’m more calm now knowing it didn’t actually take us over a year like I originally thought. Also I keep on taking breaks from this forum so I keep forgetting which threads I’m most active on.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 17/04/2024 06:51

Woken up to f-ing AF in full swing. Hopefully now at least my moods might calm a bit.

@emmatcc1 that is absolutely a reasonable time! We put so much pressure on ourselves for it to happen instantly. @RaisingCornishWildlings sorry she arrived but hope it will calm the hormones down for you x

I'm cycle day 9 ladies. I have this feeling my ovulation will come earlier this month. I could be wrong but opks have been stronger and I had egcm yesterday. I'm normally cd 20 which is later since my loss.

I think the accupuncture is helping. No period pains and less heavy so we shall see.

That's great. Your body is clearly regulating. Hopefully this is your month 🥰
