Have u spoken to tommys baby charity re grief ?
Or miscarriage association ?

I mentioned pcos as some people have miscarriages and then stay preg when on low gi diet / reduced sugar diet/ pcos friendly diet

Thanks im in Ireland so have gone through the channels here. Thanks for the info, no as I said the neonatal deaths of my sons was a rare twin condition nothing to do with my body. They weren't a miscarriage. It was neonatal death.

But as regards my early losses, it was just bad luck. No issues found.

11dpo bfn and huge temp drop. Period not here yet. Luteal phase looks longer than last month but it's stressful.

Not sure how much longer I can take the disappointment. This journey started for me back in August 2022 when I got pregnant on my honeymoon but lost that baby at 8 weeks, lost another march 23 to a chemical and then lost our twins 6 weeks before delivery in November.

Everyone keeps saying at least you can get pregnant and it's true. I carried twins nearly the end. But where are they?

Approaching cycle 5 and not a hint of a line since.

Sorry to hear. I’m going to test in the morning at what should be 12DPO.
feel like AF is on her way, the normal acne has started and I’m grumpy! So frustrating isn’t it.

ThelastRolo20 · 08/04/2024 18:36

@Ncl31 fingers crossed tomorrow is a good outcome for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’ve resigned myself to it being a BFN. I feel completely normal and how I do before AF.
although I just told myself that in December when I got my BFP I had no idea I was pregnant as I had zero symptoms! So there is some hope.

Same @Ncl31 . I'm pleased my lp seems longer though. So annoying though

Good luck tomorrow ladies!

Good luck @Ncl31

I haven’t even tested this morning. I’ve had a huge temp drop, which usually happens the day of or the day before AF. So didn’t bother wasting a test and have decided to go for a run instead :(

ThelastRolo20 · 09/04/2024 06:30

@Ncl31 running is very therapeutic, I've just picked it back up again myself. I don't track BBT but how reliable is that temp drop? X

Every month I get it. I’ll see what happens tomorrow.
some part of me is still hoping that my OvuSense is more accurate of my ovulation as that is putting me at 10DPO - which could make that an implantation dip.
but Premom has me at 12 DPO going from my OPKs and symptoms.

I’ve kinda worked it out when I’ll ovulate next cycle too and if I follow the same routine as the last 2 months then it’ll be the weekend DH is away with the lads. Probably do me good to have a month off really.

Ella31 · 09/04/2024 08:45

Af arrived this morning at 12dpo. Onto cycle 5 😒

ThelastRolo20 · 09/04/2024 08:55

@Ncl31 I hope it does work out for this month but if it doesn't a month off isn't always the worst thing - men go away at the most inconvenient time!

My next fertile week is a very busy week at work for my husband but I've told him I couldn't care less 😂 having had a 3 month break I'm not waiting any bloody longer!

ThelastRolo20 · 09/04/2024 08:56

@Ella31 sorry lovely that's just rubbish. Look after yourself the next few days. I'll be about a week behind you so we'll overlap in our TWW a bit to keep each other company ❤️

At least my lp was longer this month.

That's great. You are so close now.

Fair play for not testing. I've wasted so much money this month and af still showed. Do you think ovusense was right or your opk?

I’m so sorry, but let’s try to stay positive - 12 day LP is better than 10 isn’t it?
im sure im not far behind you.

I really don’t know if I’m honest. I kinda just take it all with a pinch of salt and just use it as a guide.

CadoAvo · 10/04/2024 13:09

Hi guys, I've been pointed in this direction by the lovely @Ella31 and I have a question.
I've just had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, it was complete so no medical management needed. The pregnancy itself passed last Thursday and I've not had any bleeding since Sunday.
I'm just wondering if I really need to wait for a period to try again or if it's worth checking for ovulation asap. I have regular cycles. I did a pregnancy test on Monday and it's getting fainter, obviously I would like to see a totally negative test so there would be no confusion before trying again.
I'm really desperate for a baby, even more so since my miscarriage. I'll be 35 next month so really don't want to lose anymore time if I can help it.
The only downside to trying asap was that if I were to get pregnant I won't have a recent LMP to date myself however will have a rough idea with ovulation since I have regular cycles. What do you think?

ThelastRolo20 · 10/04/2024 13:29

Hi @CadoAvo sorry about your loss.

It's tricky straight after, some people ovulate immediately, some at two weeks, some even later. You can either keep lh testing which will help pinpoint it and don't worry too much about dating. The only thing is constantly testing could become mentally draining.

A few people have a heavier first period though which may mean it's not all fully flushed out so it can sometimes be good to wait but completely get the urge to try immediately! I'm 35 in June so I understand 😂

emmatcc1 · 10/04/2024 13:56

@CadoAvo my bleeding lasted 3 weeks and I ovulated a couple days after it stopped. We tried straight away but didn’t conceive and my first period was an odd one for sure. A bit heavier bleeding and longer with no clots and no cramps. I do believe my body was definitely not ready to be pregnant again. Personally I would wait after the first period but it’s really your choice.

CadoAvo · 10/04/2024 13:57

@ThelastRolo20 thank you, this is good to know. We are using a sperm donor (he's a close friend) so I need to do the LH testing to pinpoint time as don't think it's fair to go over every day or every other day 😂
I'm just not sure when to start. I'll prob do another hcg test by the end of the week to hopefully see it getting fainter/negative.
I've recently joined a Tommys Facebook group and funnily enough after I posted this I saw a post asking the same question and many people said they fell pregnant either without a period or after just 1 so it's good to know it can happen.

Interesting, this is good to know thanks. Yeah I'm not sure how to tell if my body is ready or not. My mind is obviously still a bit fragile but I think it would be worse if we had to wait 3+ months to start trying again.

Sarahk89 · 10/04/2024 14:08

I had my CP last month and tried to conceive again straight away. I did notice that ovulation dates were a bit messed up and ended up with a bfn. Just finishing AF now and it was definitely a lot more painful than usual. I am just happy cycle returned to normal relatively quickly. Back to testing ovulation at the weekend.

@CadoAvo said I'd comment on your last point. I had my second miscarriage march a year ago and I just tested using opks and I finally ovulated 8 weeks later, 2 weeks later I was pregnant with my late twins. So no period in between. So what I would do is just test your ovulation twice a day. The most important being afternoon as lh builds up in the later hours. So I do afternoon and evening.

If you do conceive and I've no doubt it will happen sooner rather than later. The first scan will determine your dates so don't worry about that.

And just to add I was shocked I conceived straight after. It definitely isn't as common as people say so don't be disheartened if it doesn't happen straight away. I'm on cycle 5 as you know now since the boys
