I’m out for this month ladies, AF arrived this morning which means no 2024 baby for me. Trying to hold onto the positive now which is that it’s my first AF since my CP last week so my cycle is hopefully back to normal. Gonna enjoy the week now before shag weeks begins again! Wishing baby dust to you all!

Ella31 · 07/04/2024 19:33

Girls, so I've found myself in an absolute mess today. 10dpo and bfn. Period usually comes at 10dpo no sign of it. I've cried all day.

Do I need to give myself a shake. It's only cycle 4 technically but obviously it's 5 months since my boys died and I've been worrying constantly it won't happen for me. I've no doubt women who have struggled a lot longer would want to slap me right now. My face is stinging from crying at this point.

That's a great turnover since your cp. Mine took weeks to return.

don’t beat yourself up. you’re allowed to be upset and emotional.
It must be difficult when you usually have a short LP, but hopefully this is either your month for you BFP or your LP is getting longer which is good.

Thanks @Ncl31 my lp used to be 11 days, it's shortened after my loss.

Here’s hoping it’s getting back to normal again then.
but don’t forget - lots of people don’t implant until 10-12DPO so hopefully that’s what’s happening for us both.
I had a little bit of dull ache low down earlier on, but I went in the bath and it settled. No idea of it could mean anything or just one of those things.

You are so right. Thanks so much for your replies. You've really settled my mind.

Oh I hope in the next few days you'll be posting good news.

Actually my sensor arrived 2 days ago and my temp had risen despite the missing days. Two rises in a row

fingers crossed that’s a good sign for you… I’ve attached my chart too… although OvuSense thinks I ovulated 2 days later than Premom does… so I’m 8-10DPO.

i saw my aunt today and she asked the “do you think you’ll have kids” question. I was telling her about the MC at Christmas and she told me she had a MC at 16weeks with twins. It made me think about you straight away, 5 months later she got her BFP and my cousin is now 18 and driving her crazy with typical teenage hormones.

fingers crossed for you @Ella31

Your chart looks good. That dip could be implantation..

Aw lord, I hope you weren't too triggered with that question, though I'd say she meant well. Aw God help her. That's so sweet of you to share that with me. It really helps.

You can take the same hope from that too. I was reading a statistic that 85 percent of couples conceive within a year. So the odds are good for us there.

Ella31 · 08/04/2024 09:06

11dpo bfn and huge temp drop. Period not here yet. Luteal phase looks longer than last month but it's stressful.

Not sure how much longer I can take the disappointment. This journey started for me back in August 2022 when I got pregnant on my honeymoon but lost that baby at 8 weeks, lost another march 23 to a chemical and then lost our twins 6 weeks before delivery in November.

Everyone keeps saying at least you can get pregnant and it's true. I carried twins nearly the end. But where are they?

Approaching cycle 5 and not a hint of a line since.

ThelastRolo20 · 08/04/2024 10:52

@Ella31 the "at least you can get pregnant" line is utter shit quite frankly, getting pregnant is positive if you get to take a baby home.

You have been through hell, and not many people can truly relate so I won't pretend to be able to. 5 months is normal, particularly if you think after giving birth your body probably needed 2/3 cycles to properly regulate. This won't help you feel better about it, but it might explain it?

A longer luteal phase though IS a good sign, I hope it means in the next month or so you get another positive ❤️

Aw @ThelastRolo20 I bawled at your message thank you. I think you ladies can all relate regardless of where your losses were stage wise, because we all had a dream didn't we, when we got that positive?

Thank you, am I right in thinking it's so damn early. I think because I'm doing nothing different to what I did when I get pregnant that makes it hard.

How are you? When are you off on hols?

ThelastRolo20 · 08/04/2024 11:35

@Ella31 it is frustrating when it seems to happen so quickly before, but quite often it's just random luck each month. So many things need to go "right" it's very normal to not happen. I think each month there's on average a 20% chance or something. All you can do is keep going ❤️

I'm okay thank you, waiting for AF to arrive early to mid next week which will kick start our TTC journey again! Hols is on Friday so hoping AF arrives sooner rather than later so there's not too much overlap. The weekend we come back will be mid fertile week - I'm actually looking forward to a TWW! My last one was November/ December which feels a lifetime ago x

Im so delighted for you and it's great your fertile week is mostly after your hol. You can enjoy your hol with no pressure. I think taking your time off was a great idea. I wish I had the strength to do that as I think the pressure is unreal.

I don't think I have pcos as my cycles are regular and I've been pregnant 3 times within 9 months, I just have had the worst luck I think. My twins were 6 weeks from delivery , but they got a rare condition called ttts. It's a random condition.

I'm just thinking I possibly am stressed. I only gave birth 5 months ago.

Thanks I'll give this a look. I know I need to destress to be honest. As my twin pregnancy was very healthy but unfortunately due to the ttts condition the hospital and GP's seem to have no concerns about me conceiving. I think I'm just frustrated and missing my boys and wanting to be pregnant again.

ThelastRolo20 · 08/04/2024 12:20

@Ella31 the break wasn't easy I won't lie, each week dragged but I do think it's helped take the pressure off of my cycles, especially since my period has been slightly longer which probably means things are still settling.

Once this cycle starts next week I'll be entering with hops and not fear though which means it's worth it I think x

No. None of that. I'm curious is there something I mentioned that makes you think I do?

My gp has confirmed I've no issues and as I said I've been pregnant 3 times in 9 months with the last one a very healthy twin pregnancy but I had high risk twins and unfortunately they shared 1 placenta which caused ttts. But I've had no issue getting pregnant or carrying. My gnae said carrying the type of twins I had is very difficult and many lose them early. I was 6 weeks away.

I'm only 5 months post partum, the more I read this I realise how silly I'm being. It's grief that's worrying me

I mentioned pcos as some people have miscarriages and then stay preg when on low gi diet / reduced sugar diet/ pcos friendly diet
