@DonnaWhat I'm doing ok thanks, trying to put it out of my mind til may and just wait for my period to arrive in around 4 weeks again.

ThelastRolo20 · 31/03/2024 15:30

@DonnaWhat I'm okay thank you, I had two MMC back to back, the last in January and we've taken a break since then for a few reasons, one of which we're off on hols in mid April so figured we'd wait until May

@jellyfish2 I think we'll be quite closely aligned date wise in May? X

jellyfish2 · 31/03/2024 15:46

@ThelastRolo20 my app predicts ovulation around 16th may but I'm not sure how accurate that is will see what happens with my period in April! When is yours likely to be?

Good Evening All, I hope you don't mind me joining in on your thread. I'm pretty new to all of this unfortunately. I have 3 beautiful girls already, 19, 13 and 10. I recently had a missed miscarriage and and a d and c last Friday. Baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks and found out at 10 weeks the pregnancy wouldn't be continuing but had to wait another week to confirm no growth and then in for surgery when I should have been 12 weeks. Its bloody awful that all of us ladies have and are going through this. I am sorry that you have all had losses and send baby dust to you all.

I'm still bleeding one week on from surgery but hoping to start trying again as soon as I can.

Welcome @DonnaWhat sorry for your loss, I hope you have luck on this thread. You are so soon after your procedure so be kind to yourself

i had a laparoscopy years ago which showed cysts on my ovaries - I didnt think anything of it until I stopped my contraception, after 18 months my cycles had never regulated at all. I went to see GP, they ran bloods and asked the typical questions of excess hair etc…. My bloods all came back high, so they diagnosed it along with an ultrasound then referred me to my local fertility centre.

Of course, I hope you get answers but please god you'll get a positive before that. I'm 3dpo. Nothing out of the ordinary today. I'm oddly calmer than I have been in recent months but I do feel I've written this month off already. Not that I don't care but the energy ti be hopeful is exhausting.

DonnaWhat · 31/03/2024 16:30

@jellyfish2 I have everything crossed for you for the future. I saw you're other post about being fertile mid May, if mine go back to how they were I'd be a week behind you although until I regulate back to normal who knows at this point.

@Ella31 Thankyou Ella, I am trying. Some days I'm completely fine and other days I just hold everything in until bedtime and just cry myself to sleep. I find it easy to write about but I just can't physically talk about about what's going on without bursting into tears. I know I'll get there. I have the right support at home and now I've found this thread too I know I can share my thought's with ladies thay understand.

@ThelastRolo20 I'm sorry to hear you've had 2 back to back. I really hope everything changes for you soon. A holiday is just what the doctor ordered. You make sure you get your hair down and relax. Are you going anywhere nice?

jellyfish2 · 31/03/2024 16:36

@DonnaWhat that's what I was like too, I find it easier to speak on here or text friends/family about it but it's harder to talk in person. I feel like noone really asks about it now, it's like most people have forgotten about it except me and everyone has moved on.

ThelastRolo20 · 31/03/2024 17:40

@jellyfish2 my period is due 16-18th April so ovulation will be around 1st May but I highly doubt I'll be lucky first month 😂

The grief you are feeling is normal. I lost my twins at 29 weeks in November, stillborn boy and my other died 4 days later in the NICU and I'm still fighting the grief every day for them. But like that , there will be joy again. Nothing will change the loss but you must keep going.

Ttc is really hard and it can consume you. Everyone is lovely here and understands so you are in the right place.

ThelastRolo20 · 31/03/2024 18:07

@DonnaWhat I'm off to Lanzarote with my husband, 2year old and the in laws! It's honestly felt like the longest countdown since Jan but we're finally getting there it seems.

Sarahk89 · 31/03/2024 20:19

Hi ladies. I hope I can join? Had first bfp on 8 March on first cycle of ttc#1. Had a CP on 11 March (couldn’t believe the pain). Ovulated on CD 17 (usually day 14) and am now 4 dpo and back in the ttw. I am demented now with the wait! Wishing you all luck xxx

DonnaWhat · 01/04/2024 02:04

@Ella31 I can't even begin to comprehend the grief you must be going through. I'm so sorry to hear about the babies. I really do hope that there is some joy on your horizon very soon. Are you actively trying again yet?

@ThelastRolo20 should be nice weather wise this time of year. Make sure you have plenty of self love on your trip. You certainly deserve it.

Thank you. I am. We started trying very soon after our loss. I recovered very well from the birth thankfully. This is cycle 4 since the boys. Which is worrying for me as its never taken me more than 4 cycles to get pregnant so I know I'll be devastated if Af shows up again.

DonnaWhat · 01/04/2024 02:40

I really do have everything crossed for you. I didn't realise anyone would be up this time of night, still having the pregnancy insomnia. :( try and get some rest and enjoy the last day of this bank holiday. Sorry if I woke you.

ThelastRolo20 · 01/04/2024 08:40

@Sarahk89 welcome! You're in good company here - hope this month is your month but as you'll see here it's not unusual to not conceive straight after a MC (as the theories state!) so don't worry if you don't

@DonnaWhat thank you - I've been counting down to April since late Jan, I feel very happy that it's finally here and the countdown to TTC again begins. Hope you managed some sleep last night x

You didn't don't worry. I've found it hard to sleep early since my loss. I tend to read at night

DonnaWhat · 02/04/2024 18:24

Hope all you ladies had a good Bank Holiday. Back to work today was a killer 😪 Managed to sleep through last night although didn't appreciate having to get up early. Bleeding has stopped now too which is a bonus, just need to wait for AF to arrive in about 4 weeks I'd say

ToeBeans24 · 02/04/2024 19:11

I took a bit of a MN break after my BFN last cycle (1st cycle after my chemical) as it hit me hard. But I’m now back with a positive OPK and feeling hopeful. Doing the SMEP this cycle.

Really hope to receive and hear good news on this post this cycle! ✨

Onthedouble123 · 02/04/2024 19:28

I caved and tested yesterday on an ultra early so definitely out when it was a BFN 😔 I really felt good this month. My cut off for trying anymore is to have conceived by July so feeling like time is running out/pressure is building! Xx

What dpo are you @Onthedouble123

Ella31 · 02/04/2024 22:18

5dpo going into 6dpo tomorrow. I just expect the usual cramps to start tomorrow

Onthedouble123 · 02/04/2024 22:31

@Ella31 I'm 12dpo today so 11 yesterday but the test would've been 99% yesterday according to the box.
I still don't really have the usual pre AF cramps or feelings. I was genuinely getting my hopes up. So annoying. Xx

When is af due? I really believe you aren't out till she comes. I'm 6dpo and feel deflated too. I think we are almost pre set to feel this way.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 03/04/2024 08:56

Hi guys
I'm back! Sorry I've been so quiet for so long and now I need to say a welcome to any newbies- I hope I've accidentally missed a load of BFPs?!

So whilst hubby was away I was busy with family stuff but he got back about a fortnight ago- hurrah, and my 4 year old turned 5, and 1 year old turned 2!

We are also heading to Cyprus on Friday- very excited.

Decided to leave the OPK testing this month but now I don't know where I am. I had the start of some EwCM a few days ago, felt like perhaps I was O'ing the day before yesterday but I'm really not sure. I think I have a smaller peak before my main LH surge so perhaps that's what it is. According to Flo I'll O tomorrow!
We will just DTD where we can and see where that gets us! If we are successful this time, EDD will be no1 son's bday 🤣 just after Xmas.

I think we have decided we have this and next month and then if not successful will call it a day. As I refuse to conceive in June and have a 3rd baby born in March 🤣 and then I think we feel the age gap will be getting too big and we are getting older !

So, what have I missed? Who's had their BFP? @Claudiasaz hope things are progressing well for you? Xxx
