AF still not arrived but still BFN. I had a slight bleed that month spoke to doctor asked me to give it till June to see if cycles return. But still keep tracking Ovulation and dtd. If not go back in June for more investigation.

im so impatient.

Hope you are all doing well

Ella31 · 03/04/2024 15:11

@RaisingCornishWildlings good to see you

6dpo today. No cramps yet which I'm taking as a positive as every other month they have started at this point. Sore boobs. Testing on Friday at a ridiculously early 8dpo

Claudiasaz · 03/04/2024 15:26

Aw sounds like a great plan! @RaisingCornishWildlings I am ok thank you. At 8.5 weeks ish. I had an early scan but obviously my loss was later so I'm still just trying to be positive and hope for the best. Thanks for checking in. Really hope to see you posting some good news here soon x

ThelastRolo20 · 03/04/2024 18:51

@RaisingCornishWildlings good to hear from you! Sounds like you've been really busy and have come to a good decision with your husband about timelines and when you'll draw the line 😊

Has making that decision helped at all? I'm in my last TWW before we're actually trying. The world's longest three month wait is finally coming to an end....

RaisingCornishWildlings · 03/04/2024 08:56

Hi guys
I'm back! Sorry I've been so quiet for so long and now I need to say a welcome to any newbies- I hope I've accidentally missed a load of BFPs?!

So whilst hubby was away I was busy with family stuff but he got back about a fortnight ago- hurrah, and my 4 year old turned 5, and 1 year old turned 2!

We are also heading to Cyprus on Friday- very excited.

Decided to leave the OPK testing this month but now I don't know where I am. I had the start of some EwCM a few days ago, felt like perhaps I was O'ing the day before yesterday but I'm really not sure. I think I have a smaller peak before my main LH surge so perhaps that's what it is. According to Flo I'll O tomorrow!
We will just DTD where we can and see where that gets us! If we are successful this time, EDD will be no1 son's bday 🤣 just after Xmas.

I think we have decided we have this and next month and then if not successful will call it a day. As I refuse to conceive in June and have a 3rd baby born in March 🤣 and then I think we feel the age gap will be getting too big and we are getting older !

So, what have I missed? Who's had their BFP? @Claudiasaz hope things are progressing well for you? Xxx

6DPO for me today. No real symptoms, apart from hot flashes during the night. I woke at 3am to go pee - but my hair was saturated. I’ve had a headache all day too but nothing too unusual in LP.

Where in Cyprus are you going to? We were there for 6 days in March. Going back in June too. Enjoy your time away - I hope it helps you relax.

Onthedouble123 · 03/04/2024 22:33

I'm definitely out after my BFN on Sunday- AF arrived this morning. Feeling okayish about it.

4 more cycles then we will be calling it a day too and accepting our blessings with just having one. I've not explicitly said that to my husband as I don't want to put unnecessary pressure on him as those cycles count down! But he has always said he's happy to try for as long as I am but also happy to stop when I am.
I will be a year older than my original age limit for giving birth but definitely not pushing it back any older. Im keeping everything crossed that it does happen between now and then but, if it doesn't, I want to be in control enough that I made a positive decision to stop rather than just keep trying and it eating away at us indefinitely.
Switching off from it all for a week (The only positive of AF I find!)
Best of luck to everyone in the TWW 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

ThelastRolo20 · 04/04/2024 06:46

@Onthedouble123 sorry about AF, I think we'll set a timeline for trying for baby 2 before we also call it a day (not that we're trying again yet - we will be from next month).

There are definitely up sides to having one child which I keep reminding myself of!

Beeches24 · 04/04/2024 13:09

I think I'm going to work through this thread and hope for solidarity in a crappy situation.

This is 2nd cycle. I had miscarriage medically managed on Valentine's Day and firsr period post mc late march.

Opk seems low during day and higher in the evening.

I'm 34 so feeling time isn't on my side. I want this so much.

I'm taking expert midwife preconception tablets and fingers crossed.

Sarahk89 · 04/04/2024 13:19

with opk - I have just been using the clear blue ones every morning when due to test. Are people testing multiple times per day when they think they’re close to ovulation? If so; what tests? Couldn’t face using CB more than once a day due to the price 😂

8dpo today - think I’m imaging symptoms

ToeBeans24 · 04/04/2024 16:35

@Sarahk89 i use the CB advance ones. Started them last month which was the cycle after my chemical as i expected the chemical to delay my next ovulation (which it did).

i tested in the morning but after getting a 5th flashing smiley and cramping / sore boobs all day I tested again in the evening and got a static.

this cycle I’ve just tested in the mornings and got 2 days blank (CD8+9), 3 days flashing (CD10,11,12) and positive OPK/static on CD13 meaning predicted ov CD14 (back in my usual pattern pre chemical).

waffled there but in summary still listen to your body and symptoms. I planned to start testing again in the evenings this cycle if I had symptoms but this month I’ve not really had any ovulation symptoms!

Morning Ladies, Happy Friday to you all. 2 weeks post DC and still positive 😔 I know they say to wait 3 weeks but bleeding had all stopped and feel Well in myself apart from sleep insomnia. When did you ladies get a negative after loss? I have to have another scan if I'm still positive after next Friday. I just want to move on with my new normal now. 😕 I have everything set out in my head and my body's just not playing ball.

jellyfish2 · 05/04/2024 09:33

@DonnaWhat I was closer to the 3 weeks unfortunately. Then I didn't ovulate until 2 weeks after. I got a very light period 6 and a half weeks after surgery.

ThelastRolo20 · 05/04/2024 10:11

@DonnaWhat both times I had strong positives at 2 weeks, barely visible at 3 weeks and I still ovulated and had then a normal period which I think cleared out the rest. It can dive down quite quickly so try not to worry now. The fact the bleeding has stopped is a really good sign - your body would keep trying if there was something left behind x

I had one pretty soon afterwards but my CP was very early

emmatcc1 · 05/04/2024 12:31

My af is late by a day or two I think, I wasn’t tracking ovulation I wanna know if you see anything because I swear there’s a shadow. The test is 25miu and I took it with 2h hold and drinking a glass of juice before. I opened the test but the line should be in the circle.

ThelastRolo20 · 05/04/2024 13:08

@emmatcc1 oh I see a shadow but I would expect a stronger line if AF is late 😔 test again but I wouldn't initially get hopes too high xx

Rosyposy26 · 05/04/2024 14:37

Where is my AF this should be my second AAf since miscarriage and it’s a week late all tests are a BFN and all LH tests barely have a shadow. So confused

ThelastRolo20 · 05/04/2024 15:03

@Rosyposy26 I think the first few cycles after a miscarriage can be a bit haywire. Very frustrating but I suppose you'll have to just wait and see. If it ends up over two weeks late with a negative test then perhaps contact your GP?

Thank you. I contacted them they said wait till June. I have had cramps and occasional stabbing pain in right ovary area but CM changes and no other symptoms. I’m just impatient I don’t like being in limbo. 😂

Just read your update. I'm sorry. You sound very together though and strong. I'll be rooting for you

It took a few weeks Donna. Early miscarriages took longer than my neonatal loss weirdly. But definitely go back if it hasn't dropped. There could be retained material.

Mc can cause havoc on your hormones. Easier said than done but give it time.

Ella31 · 05/04/2024 19:25

8dpo negative and crampy. I think that's me out again. I'm trying to decide vitamins next month. I've heard a lot of good things about vit b complex
