Morning all!

@Supertrooper101 hope scan goes well today ❀️

@Sez281 hope you don't have to wait too long for bloods and that all is looking good. ❀️

@Paws4thought sounds like you're doing as well as possible with patiently waiting for the scan. It's a really tough time! But deffo don't worry about not many symptoms. As I've said before, mine have been pretty minimal throughout this time!

@Jadeypie keeping things crossed for you. As the others said, even if not a bfp, hopefully it's a good sign that your body is doing what it needs to πŸ’• Also, sorry to hear about your Mum. Hope she's doing as ok as can be πŸ’—

@xxcxdonxx hope the consultant gets back to you soon and provides some clarity on what you need to do next (especially for when there's another BFP).

@Westy22 less pressure and eating well both sound like positive moves. Hopefully they will have an impact very quickly for you πŸ’•

@HopeAndStrength @Hankthehonk @DmcinT hope all is well with the little Babbas (and the Mamma's!!) πŸ₯°

Jadeypie · 08/02/2024 09:53

@Sez281 14dpo I will be xx

@Supertrooper101 well I wasn't untill these cramps I don't get them and if I do which isn't every month it will be 2nd day of af when flow is in full force. Still getting them on off in work today. And my boobs instead of getting better as af approaches they are just getting worse ha. So I am feeling hopeful xx

Jadeypie · 08/02/2024 11:25

@xxcxdonxx @Westy22 @Paws4thought sorry girls I didn't see your replys ha. I agree with Sue all symtom spotting is the devil!! I don't normally do it haha but here we are!! @SnookyPook yeh your right propaly is just my body being normal haha. Xx

@Supertrooper101 hope scan goes well for you Al be popping in for the results xx

@Sez281 I hope u get your results today also xx

Supertrooper101 · 08/02/2024 12:06

@Jadeypie ooouuuu whose real name is sue πŸ€”πŸ€£...your 14dpo did you say? Thats flown by. If only you tempted, you would have even more to go on lol
@Paws4thought when i feel shocking, i think somthings wrong, when i feel abit better, i think sumats wrong πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ think think think tis all i do lol
Well i seem to b 8+1 this week πŸ™‚ and i researched the heamorrage and it said to take ALA, which i have the past week and thats just a sheet of fluid now lol am that bunged up with gas she couldnt even see any ovarys too lol nurse said to try peppermint...google says it causes miscarriges lol ill get some prune juice or have some sugar instead i think lol
@Westy22 am sure my partner watched that sperm program as well and tried to chg his diet too lol

Sez281 · 08/02/2024 13:38

@Supertrooper101 I'm assuming even though she couldn't see ovaries that everything else looked ok? πŸ™

@Westy22 oh that's great that you're feeling so calm. I think the whole ttc lark is the biggest test of relationships. If we get through it we'll get through anything! I'm think healthier choices definitely affects moods too. I'm still watching everything (tracking on my fitness pal etc) and feel so much better for it x

@Paws4thought oh it's so horrible worrying all the time isn't it 😣 You're spotting didn't come back though did it? I'm sure it's all fine. I know it's all well and good to say that though and like you say there'll always be something to worry about even when you pass each milestone πŸ₯΄ xx

@Jadeypie it's definitely good to feel positive especially when you've never had those symptoms before..But regardless what happens it all sounds so promising with your cycles going forward πŸ™ xx

Thanks @SnookyPook no word about bloods yet. Hoping it will be today, just keeping busy in workπŸ™ˆ. Hope you're doing ok, have you decided if you're going to wait till official next scan or get one in between?

And of course new mummies @Hankthehonk and @HopeAndStrength @DmcinT hope you're enjoying all the cuddles but also managing to get some well needed rest πŸ₯° xx

Hankthehonk · 08/02/2024 14:41

Loads to catch up on!! Lots of you making progress - was everything good with the baby at the scan then @Supertrooper101 ? Brilliant to pass 8 weeks, celebrate every milestone.
@Sez281 and @Paws4thought speaking of milestones good luck for your scans, not long to wait. I was exactly the same as you guys worrying about every symptom I had or didn't have, no advice except just keep getting through the days.
@Jadeypie exciting you're feeling optimistic, keep us posted. Sure you won't be tempted to test early? Here's me being a poas addict again.
@xxcxdonxx glad you're making progress with consultant and really hope you get answers soon.

Newborn baby life is going OK over here. Our daughter has hand foot and mouth disease from nursery - she's not particularly unwell but it means she can't be around the baby which is really sad. So we're home but not quite together as a family yet, she's still at my mums. Really missing her after days in hospital too and can't wait to finally have both my babies together.

Jadeypie · 08/02/2024 16:25

@Supertrooper101 yayyy glad your scan went well and a week ahead? U must be made up with that. Xx

@Sez281 any news on bloods yet? Xx

@Hankthehonk do not try and influence me you! Hahaha, aww, your poor daughter!! She must be dying to get her little hands on her new sibling! Glad use are doing well tho but yeh I bet you crnt wait to see her how old is she? The longer this ttc is taking the bigger the age gap for me and I don't want it too big xx

Hankthehonk · 08/02/2024 16:36

@Jadeypie she's 3.5, it feels like a good age gap as she's well settled in nursery and she knows what's going on, she's even determined to be helpful looking after her brother. She's a wee star!
There was a 5 year age gap between me and my younger sister and we couldn't be closer so I think for that reason it's never been something I've worried about. I guess no age gap is a guarantee of future relationship between siblings, good or bad. How old is your dc?

Paws4thought · 08/02/2024 16:44

@Westy22 hopefully relaxing about it and bring healthier will help things along for you.
@Supertrooper101 that's fab, you must be really happy, have you got your next scan booked?
@SnookyPook thanks for the reassurance about symptoms, I know every pregnancy is different but it's good to hear of those that are similar.
@Sez281 I've spotted again today :(, more of a darker colour so called gp who sorted an nhs scan for Monday, wish it was sooner but I guess there should be more to see as I'll be 6+2. Hopefully they can tell me straight either way.
@Jadeypie haha the dymptom sporting from this group has rubbed off on you, fingers crossed.
@Hankthehonk glad you're home and both doing well, hope your daughter gets better soon so you can all be together :)

SnookyPook · 08/02/2024 17:00

@Supertrooper101 so glad all was looking good with little one πŸ₯°

@Hankthehonk aw that must be so tough having to distance from your DD! Sure it will be worth it in the end though when you're all together again πŸ₯°

Supertrooper101 · 08/02/2024 17:12

@Sez281 they were buried in trapped gas, one normally is tbf haha i normally have to press down on my stomach. I eat fibre i drink water, what more am i meant to bloody do lol
Last week it was 6+6 so this week it matches my lmp... just hope next weeks is as good πŸ™†β€β™€οΈπŸ™‚.
@Paws4thought i always learnt brown blood is a good thing.. and i was told implantation still continues afyer your missed period as its digging deeper in your uterus. Its so hard not to be anxious so i wont say dont worry lol bloody plsd ur gp has pulled their finger out tho. Have you rearranged your private one now? Gona be a long wait even though its nearly wkend now, we all know how time drags when were waiting on somthing so important to us. Do you read? Av just started again, its made the last week fly by! Lol . Booked me in again for thursday.
Ask epu for progesterone too. Have a read on tommys website re miscarrage and spotting in a new pregnancy. I learned about it on a different thread then saw the guys above had been given it too.

SnookyPook · 08/02/2024 17:27

@Paws4thought agree with @Supertrooper101 - definitely ask about progesterone given you've been spotting. I think protocol now is they should give it even with only one prior loss. 6+2 will be a good gestation for first scan. Fingers crossed all will be well. I've also heard brown spotting is good as suggests older blood and could well be remnants of implantation given the gestation you're at πŸ™πŸΌ

Sez281 · 08/02/2024 18:31

Aww that must be tough @Hankthehonk, I'm sure she's having a great time at her granny's and pretty oblivious to it all but no doubt you're longing for lots of cuddles too so hopefully it's not too much longer xx

@Supertrooper101 that's great news ☺️ you just need to figure out how to get all the gas out now πŸ’¨ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@Paws4thought I'm sorry you're going through spotting again but glad you called the doc and it's moved to Monday. Like others have said I'm sure it's probably old blood but I'd I'm sure it's quite worrying. πŸ˜• I agree about asking about progesterone too, with your previous loss and bit of spotting now it might be worth exploring. Hopefully it eases up and the next few days go quickly

I called my gp at 4.50pm and the receptionist didn't think the bloods were back yet πŸ˜• I think it's too late for anybody to call now so I guess I'm waiting until tomorrow 😣

SnookyPook · 08/02/2024 20:48

@Sez281 oh that's so frustrating. They just don't realise how much we hang on for these results do they?! Hope you're ok and able to distract yourself tonight. X

Paws4thought · 08/02/2024 20:51

@Supertrooper101 I didn't realise trapped gas could block the scanner, that's fab you're matching you lmp now.
Thank you, it makes sense that it could be implanting more but think I'll keep my expectations down for the next few days, I don't really read, will have to find a good netflix series. That's good, the week will hopefully go quickly for you. I will definitely ask about progesterone @SnookyPook I didn't realise they'd give after 1 loss.
@Sez281 thank you, only a day earlier but at least it's nhs so can ask more questions. Ah that's annoying they've not sorted your bloods, hopefully no news is good news.

xxcxdonxx · 09/02/2024 06:02

That’s brilliant news in your scan @Supertrooper101, you must be delighted! Another week is another milestone reached 😍
@Paws4thought I’m sorry you’ve had more spotting, I know how worrying that can be. Glad they were able to move up your scan, even by a day makes it a less anxious wait.

@Sez281 your gp sounds like mine, it’s about a week in getting bloods back. Hoping it’s an early call for you today though.

Lovely to hear from you @Hankthehonk hopefully not too long until your wee girl can be home for a big squeeze with you too πŸ₯°

Jadeypie · 09/02/2024 06:47

@Paws4thought sorry to hear about you spotting again! I understand how worrying that must be for you. I'm glad your in Monday for a scan to have a check over xx

Jadeypie · 09/02/2024 06:53

I think my sysmtom spotting was just me being hopeful. Woke up to a tiny bit of spotting 10dpo af will most likly arrive bang on que. I'm so so frustrated and I think I need to step back I just crnt be arsed anymore of all the ttc. Think I'm just going to delete all aps and concentrate on getting my health in order! Stepping back from MN too which makes me sad because use are all just the best group of people and I've never felt so supported before so thank you all for that 😊 ❀️ who nos I might just need a week to calm down haha but I seriously hope everyone gets their happy ending xxx

Sez281 · 09/02/2024 07:56

@Jadeypie I'm so sorry. I know how frustrating it is, especially when you had so many signs that you hadn't had before😒. A break from thinking about it all the time is a good idea, it can feel so consuming at times😣. I know there's no shittier feeling that when AF arrives and you feel that there's nothing else you could have done😣.
I know it's no consolation now but at least you finally have an answer with the pcos diagnoses. Maybe the medication might be something to consider when you feel up to it. For now enjoy family time and not having to think about it. We'll be here for when/if you ever want to talk xxx

@Jadeypie as they say, your not out yet, but if you know your own body then you know πŸ™. So many positives have come from this latest cycle, your dye stealer of a opk for one! Youve got your meds ready to go and youve done your research. I would class this cycle as your first proper vycle of trying and if the theorys true that it takes 3mths for the egg, then the nxt 2 mths will be your mth πŸ™‚ have some time out tho or just come on here to vent your frustration πŸ™‚ but from the time ive been on this thread and followed your journey, this cycle, has been your best yet. Keep doing what your doing, its working start your meds and me, i would the opks again cos this time there should be a normal timeframe. Chin up, i think your doing great 😁

Supertrooper101 · 09/02/2024 08:38

I dont know any oldies or newbies on the thread this might benefit but saw it on the other one am on and thought it was a good thing if anyones close by.
@Sez281 u chasing your bloods again today or waiting it out. So annoying especially when they rang you last time with them lol have you worked out what you think they should be?
@Paws4thought how you doing, you got a busy weekend to make it go quickly 😁

@Supertrooper101 my GP is great and will call me as soon as they're in, it's the lab in the hospital that are slow πŸ˜• I think if they were 150 they should be around 1200 6 days later. Hoping they'll be over 1000 at least 🀞

OP posts:
Westy22 · 09/02/2024 10:06

Totally get how you feel @Jadeypie it's tough going through it month after month and you feel like it's never going to happen, it will happen for us though our bodies are just taking a bit longer to get it right ❀️ although a tiny bit of spotting could be nothing, i think your right treating it as AF and then if it isn't it's a positive ❀️

I love this group but I think we need to pull ourselves away around AF's suspected arrival as its tough when reading everyone's positive stories to feel like your not there again. I'll be trying that at the end of this cycle as I crashed last month (part of that was early testing tho so my fault lol) but gives you time to pull yourself back up and start again x

xxcxdonxx · 09/02/2024 10:08

I’m sorry @Jadeypie i really feel your frustration. Not knowing why it isn’t happening or how to β€˜fix’ it is really tough going and a bit of breathing space from it all can do no harm.
This group is always here if you need us πŸ₯°

SnookyPook · 09/02/2024 10:31

@Jadeypie aw I'm sorry my love. It's such a tough slog at times. I've been there before taking a step back from everything (including MN) and did find it helpful to regroup and get in a better headspace. Do what you need to do but know we will all be here with open arms ready to welcome you back when you're ready. Sending a big hug πŸ’•
