@xxcxdonxx Ugh I'm so sorry that you're still in such limbo. I guess in a weird way at you know if the girl from Tommys is right that it won't matter about the progesterone so it's not like continuing it is stopping anything from happening. I know you know your own body but the cramps etc might not necessarily have the worst outcome. Will keep everything crossed for you 🙏 xx

@Westy22 I'd go by the app.. I'd say you've covered all bases around ovulation anyway. It definitely takes a cycle or 2 to get the hang of temping and should really start from AF but at least you're getting used to it. Hopefully you won't even need it next cycle 🤞 xx

@Supertrooper101 that's good that you're on aspirin anyway, It's prescribed a lot for recurrent miscarriages from BFP

@xxcxdonxx sorry you're continuing in limbo. These early days just go so slowly don't they. At least you have a scan booked in although I'm sure that feels years away just now.

@Sez281 sorry for the BFN - still time though 🤞🏻and if not, onto the fertility clinic. I know you were hoping not to need it but hey, if it gets you your Babba it'll all be good. One of my best friends gave birth to her little boy in December after years of unexplained fertility - got lucky with IVF and here he is. Added bonus she has some good eggs on standby already for if she wants a sibling!

@Westy22 from what I've heard, waking lots can deffo affect temp readings. Also, you have my sympathy in slow-moving bf. Was similar here. I'd have married him and started kids years ago but he wanted to get through Med School first (understandable but still!!) I guess things happen when they happen.

@Jadeypie I always avoided early testing too. I think there are some benefits of a few days extra of blissful ignorance. If I'd had a BFP days early I'd have only been worrying about a CP etc. But keeping everything crossed for you!!

My SIL just announced she is pregnant too, while I’m delighted for them it still stings a little bit too. I’ve actually thought it for a few weeks so at least it wasn’t a complete shock.

@Supertrooper101 i just realised I didn’t answer you on bloods. Yes it was sticky blood I was tested for but it was 3 results she mentioned, I’ve no clue what they were or mean though 🫣 You are right though and I think if it’s aspirin to take to resolve it.

@SnookyPook you're on the ball replying to everyone, I have to read back a few times to check I've not missed too much 😂
@xxcxdonxx possibly a little wiggle room with dates then, hopefully Monday will come quickly to speak to gp about bloods. Oh no, it's so hard someone close to you announcing, wanting to be happy for them but feeling sad at the same time tiring.
@Supertrooper101 are you taking aspirin? How does that help?

Think i must have wrote my message wrong lol. nooo ive stopped the aspirin after reading it could have caused the haemorrage lol good for some bad for others.
@xxcxdonxx ive not booked in with a midwife yet either. Dont see the point atm. Tbh the reason i got bloods for hcg was cos i said i was bleeding 🤷‍♀️. Are you going to keep on testing or just see what happens? My tests were good. But then my scan was bad lol so isnt certain to confirm whats going on inside x
@SnookyPook thats crazy how they can years of infertilty but then good eggs. We cant win can we lol

@Supertrooper101 no you didn't write it wrong I completely misread it. Definitely for the best that you stopped taking it just in case. I do think the aspirin might be the right road for you though @xxcxdonxx if they can interpret the sticky blood results for you 🙏 I can only imagine how it felt hearing the announcement when things are still up in the air. Still feeling hopeful for you though xx

Aww that's lovely to hear about your friend @SnookyPook, ☺️ I never even considered if it worked going back again, I've always had it in my head that if we're lucky to conceive it'll be one and done due to my age but if ivf works it might be an option to go again (or pray for twins 😂) I definitely couldn't go down this natural road again though. My head is fried with it all 🤯

My cramps are pretty severe this evening😭, I've taken paracetamol twice today. Really feels like AF is trying to come. I'm going to take one last pessary before bed but I definitely think I'm going to be out.. I'll hit the chemist for the meds as soon as it arrives then start watching videos on giving myself the trigger shot injection 🙈 Onwards and upwards 🤷‍♀️

@Supertrooper101 Haha woohoo good to win at something 😂 I'm hoping the first mmc was random and there's no reason to have a second 🤞 although I am over thinking every twinge and dread going to the toilet just incase even though I didn't bleed at all last time. I'm going to book early scan for 6+4 so hopefully heart beat 💓 last time it only measured 5-6 weeks when should have been 8.

@Sez281 do not blame you for not wanting to do it natrual again, i think banking some eggs is worth thinking about. You will love being a mum and will most likely want more 🙂. So u start these new meds when af comes? Are these the kind that u see them injecting thereselfs in some dramas (good girls) lol, that make u crazy or ill 🤔🤣? So its trying the meds first whilst waiting for ivf, or meds before ivf? How you feeling about it all now its nearly reality? If af hasnt shown up yet maybe the progesterone helped a little? But are your cramps worse than normal with it 🙁 ur in a catch 22 arnt you.
@Paws4thought n theres me thinking you were carefree but your doing exactly same as me....toilet checks and twinges haha have you booked that scan private or has epu gave you it x

Morning everyone, my tests were noticeably lighter this morning so putting it down to a chemical and stopped the pessaries. Really cramping this morning so I’m sure its
not far off. Wish I just knew what was going on and why I can get pregnant but not keep hold of it. Had big cry last night, loaded up on chocolate and had an early night so feeling better this morning.

@Paws4thought Aw your last dates are almost identical to mine 😢 Fingers crossed the next couple of weeks before your scan goes by quickly, I totally get the questioning every twinge and toilet checking though 😕 xx

@Supertrooper101 it's a total catch 22 regarding the cramping I'm getting but it seems to have extended my LP by a day so far so I'll take that! 👌

The next couple of weeks is going to be so confusing 🙈 When AF arrives (in around 4 days I'd say) I have to email my consultant (who will book me in for scan around cd10-12) to see if the Leterazol is working (ill be taking that cd3-7) then when she sees the egg is mature enough I've to go home and inject myself with the gonasi trigger shot and dtd within 6-8 hours so no pressure on my OH at all 🫠🙈😂

Separately the same day AF arrives I've to email the ivf crowd in the hospital who want me to come in on cd3 for scans and bloods I think meeting them is just getting the ball rolling, I'm assuming it's going to be a couple of cycles before I actually start the proper ivf process, well I hope it is as if like to give the ovulation induction a few goes first.. can you tell I'm trying to hold off as long as possible? 🙈🙈😂

Oh @xxcxdonxx I've just read your update as I posted. I'm so sorry 😔 You know your own body so are right to stop the progesterone and let nature take its course (or if a miracle happens not!🙏) but at least you'll finally have certainty. I hope you're ok xx

@Sez281 Wow, that's a lot!! all emails, cds, needles and tablets my heads fell off 😂 so I crnt imagine how you feel haha.

So I caved this morning and it's just a evap. Got some easy@home tests in the post it's still early days I suppose but not hopeful. Cd 28 today no sign of af no spotting like in the past just plodding along xx

@Sez281 🤣 no pressure on ya man at all haha am sure he will be up for the challange! Actually, is that the only time you dtd then? He will feel neglected if it is lol your scedule sounds hectic. Bet ur heads spinning with it all. Your calander wil look fun tho lol
@xxcxdonxx thats shit 🙁. Will this push for more testing to be done now? Do you know what else they check for apart from the sticky blood? Would have been handy if the idiots could have been more professional with the blppds u had already had done and the one 'not quite right' roll on monday for some answers for you hopefully x
@Jadeypie what happened to waiting 2 weeks 🤣 so basically your none the wiser yet..... 🙂 that cycle lenght is great, kinda wondering tho, could a simple multivitamin do that or is it somthing else 🤗

@Supertrooper101 I think its impossible to be care free after loss, I was the same first time around as my sister lost her first too. I've got a Dr appt booked Tues as kept having random pains all cycle since mva so was worried about infection, they did swabs at my smear so hopefully all clear and I'll ask about scan then, if not I'll book private, tbh I plan to go every couple of weeks for a little peace of mind.
@xxcxdonxx So sorry to read your update, its so horrible not knowing why things aren't working.
@Sez281 oh wow that's a lot to get your head round, gives you a lot to focus on tho.

@jadeypie at least this cycle is a decent length and still time if they were usually longer too.

@Supertrooper101 people say that some of the vititmins like conceive plus ect makes cycles go longer so maybe these are they have all the same ingredients as the fancy ones haha x x

@xxcxdonxx really sorry to see your update, sending a hug. If it is indeed a chemical I hope the NHS might take it as a reason to escalate your case and give you more tests and support. Keep us posted, this group is always here. What a rollercoaster for you x

@Jadeypie evaps are the devil! 😈 I get loads on easy@homes 😕 You never know though! And cd 26 is great. I'm only cd23 and AF was due today with my short LP. You still have loads of time 🤞xx

@Supertrooper101 one thing I'll give my OH credit for is that so far he's handled the pressure so well, even when sick! I don't know if I was a bloke if I could 😂 not sure about dtd before the shot actually. It does say on the pamphlet that if there's too many mature eggs on the scan that we've to refrain that cycle due to the risk of multiple births 🤔 I'll have to ask about dtd beforehand

@xxcxdonxx so for ivf you do trigger shots and stuff before transfers etc (I'll have to research it properly) but the ovulation induction thing I'm doing first is a "natural" try before ivf I guess 🤷‍♀️

I hope you're doing ok. It really is so shit. Definitely worth chatting to the doc to see what's going on. It might just be that you need something alongside the progesterone. For now just take time to allow yourself to be sad and understandably so pissed off 😢 xx

I think I best get dtd haha......this is the darkest I have ever got on a opk. Opinions is this near a peak? Xx

@Jadeypie have you done any more hcg tests? Cd26 seems quite late for ovulation 🤔 Not to get your hopes up but I had a blazing opk when I got my BFP (that's what made me test) some people say it gets a bit darker close to AF too though so it's not a guarantee
