@Supertrooper101 do you have to go back in for more today? I assume they don't still have your sample? 😣 Don't be questioning anything you said or did it has nothing to do with it and you'll only upset yourself xx Have you started the progesterone?

@Jadeypie @Hankthehonk I know my heartburn is diet related but I dread to think what it'll be like if I do get pregnant😨.. my sister suffered really badly in 3rd trimester too, had shares in Gaviscon πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ Is it true it's worse with boys? I also heard hairy babies πŸ€” Probably old wives tale but I'm sure you'll be glad when the heartburn is gone @Hankthehonk πŸ™Œ πŸ’™

Did a test this morning 9 (possibly 8) dpo and bfn which I knew. I'm going to take the progesterone for 1 more day I think as it'll take a few days for AF to arrive. If by some miracle I get a line over those days I'll start it again. But the sooner AF arrives the sooner I can start the tablets and ovulation induction. At least I'll know I gave it everything πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

@Sez281 this dr will probably just tell me to be patiant and wait for the results... i had bad heartburn with my boy. He had no hair. No heartburn with my girl and she had a full head of jet black hair and looked chinese 🀣 she dosent now and her hair went brown. My boy sprouted blond curly hair and lots of it lol 9dpo is really early though, the test will be if you come on or not which i hope you dont x
So drs just rang whilst writing this. My levels gone up to 33,000 from 1900 ish the week before. I hope my body int bloody teasing me lol will levels still raise if anythings wrong πŸ€”

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 09:37

@Supertrooper101 would you be able to ask all these questions to the Dr on the phone today? I hate when u get told somthing and your mind goes blank and then you come home all like wtf did that even mean!! They could of been alot more informative on the day it's not like it's just a cyct or somthing it's a pregnancy that's important!. And day 27!! So I'm classed as normal this month haha. And yeh 34 day to 36 I originally. Looking back on my last two pregnancy's I concieved on cd 19. Blazing positive on cd 33 ha xx

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 09:40

@Supertrooper101 oh that's so so so positive no way would your levels get that high if there was somthing wrong. Mine didn't jump much with my ectopic it sort of slowed down. Oh I'm so happy with these results xx

Sez281 · 26/01/2024 09:45

@Supertrooper101 oh wow that's a great jump. I just googled it which I'm sure you have been doing constantly and it seems pretty much in line with 6 weeks. Obviously I know it means you still can't get your hopes up but hopefully another scan will be clearer. For now take this as possible good news and try and distract yourself (easier said than done I know πŸ€―πŸ™ˆ) xx

@Jadeypie that's great news! I can only imagine how much of a mind f**k it's been over the last god knows how many cycles. Fingers crossed this is the start of a return to normal... or even a BFP! πŸ™ xx

OP posts:
Supertrooper101 · 26/01/2024 09:53

Yeah he said the levels were good after checking on the nhs site lol he did say tho there is a 50% chsnce of miscarrige due to the haemorrage so to just wait for the scan nxt thursdays. Tbh, if i hadnt of had the early scan, i wudnt have known any of this anyway i ges so ill just wait and see what happens then πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ or before then lol
@Jadeypie you still not tempted to test?

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 09:56

@Sez281 it's really wearing me down now tbh! It's just so so frustrating I'm gona give myself a year and if nothing I'm throwing in the towel at least when my sons older I can tell him we tried when he wonders why he hasn't got a sibling. The thought makes me sad, but I am very happy with just him. Maybe that's just what's meant to be. XX

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 10:02

@Supertrooper101 I am but I'm timing it properly from when I last had sex hence the two weeks I'm thinking to test next Tuesday if af hasn't arrived. the times before that I crnt see it resulting in a bfp because that's too close to af finishing . If that makes sence hahaha so Al test Tuesday that should cover all the times ive had sex then have my appointment on Wednesday xx

xxcxdonxx · 26/01/2024 13:43

That’s exciting @Jadeypie , not long to wait then!

That’s really positive @Supertrooper101 and hopefully some reassurance for you while you wait for the next scan.

Sez281 · 26/01/2024 16:07

It's a double edged sword @Supertrooper101 you wonder if you'd have been better not knowing. I'd probably go for early scan too though. Hopefully you get some proper answers early next week πŸ™ xx

@Jadeypie I totally get what you mean, it does feel all consuming. We're obviously going to go down the fertility route but we may need to have a conversation about the possibility of it never happening for us 😒 I do think that as your cycles seem to be coming back that it will happen for you 🀞 xx

@Westy22 did your temp go up again to confirm ovulation?

@xxcxdonxx any joy with doc? I was just reading a thread about baby aspirin and it made me think of you. Somebody mentioned sticky blood on it. Did you ever get results back? I've been prescribed aspirin along with my pessaries to take only from when I get a BFP but it might be something to ask about for you πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ xx

I'm awfully crampy today. It's like my body knows AF is due tomorrow and is gearing itself up but is getting stuck because of the progesterone 😣 I'm going to take last one tonight then let nature take its course

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 16:39

@Sez281 well let's just hope all pans out for the both of us!! I'm sure it will when we least expect it too. How long have you been on the pessies now? O u feel like they have worked or? Xx

Hankthehonk · 26/01/2024 16:58

@Paws4thought my heartburn has been dreadful in both pregnancies, first a girl and now a boy!

@Supertrooper101 amazing news on your results, I know you'll still be anxious but that's as good as could be hoped for with the hcg. Keeping everything crossed for you, and well done for persevering to get your tests and results. It shouldn't all be so bloody hard.

@Sez281 sorry about the bfn but as you say it's early and don't blame you for testing already! You've got the right attitude to it this month, at least there's an upside to af arriving as it will kick start your new phase

@Jadeypie you're a superhero holding out until Tuesday to test, no idea how you have the willpower!

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 17:10

@Hankthehonk im taking each day as it comes regarding will power hahaha you never no I might have a moment of madness haha but for now I'm behaving xx

Jadeypie · 26/01/2024 17:12

@Paws4thought my heartburn was due to a boy with loads of black hair that fell out and grew back blonde and now he's brown. He also has blue eyes and me and his dad both have brown eyes and dark hair. Babies change so so much it's crazy xx

xxcxdonxx · 26/01/2024 18:35

Ah sorry for the bfn @Sez281 , it is early as you say though. Fingers crossed for tomorrow 🀞🏻

How you doing @Paws4thought?

Very frustrating day for me. Called EPU and they booked me in for a scan at 6 weeks if I get that far. She wouldn’t really give me any advise on whether to keep taking the pessaries though. Called Tommys (my consultants advise is based on Tommys and she’s on holiday) and the midwife was really lovely and chatted about what has happened and said that if it wasn’t viable then being on progesterone wouldn’t stop that but at the moment to keep taking them. To get bloods I need to get a referral from my Gp for EPU and for that I need an appointment with my GP and they had none left when I called this morning.
When I spoke to the midwife at EPU she said that my bloods have come back; two out of three were fine but one was higher than it should be but I don’t know what it was but the consultant would be in touch to discuss. When I called my GP she said they didn’t have my results!!
I’m feeling quite bloated and crampy today so I’m sure af is on the way. I did get a positive clear blue today but the strip was very faint. I’ve always used them too so I’m sure they are right.
Sorry for the rant! Just feeling exhausted from the whole thing and all the admin that seems to be part of TTC now 🀯

Supertrooper101 · 26/01/2024 18:36

@Jadeypie not testing anyway and having this longer cycle must be a nice feeling to enjoy for the time being anyway πŸ™‚
@Sez281 id take aspirin anyway for circulation but after this heamorrage i did some more digging and it can cause them. So did more digging and its 50 50 what ppl are told. Some say not before 8wks or 12wks and some say from ttc or bfp πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ these are from several differenrt forums and several different bloody nhs trust funds. Mine told me i didnt need it. But i like the theory it increases blood flow to the uterus.. ive stopped it now anyway and will decide as and when i need to if am gona start it again. Also negative shit on ginger now too about not good if youve have previous miscarriges. I got seven seas supplements....with ginger ... so stopped them n gone onto basic cheap ones lol cant control f all whats gona happen so just going day by day. Am plsd am doing these early things tho still, cos its far better being on edge now then distraught at '12wks' again!

xxcxdonxx · 26/01/2024 18:39

@Jadeypie i never had heartburn in mine, my little girl was born with a mop of hair that stood on end and that’s the first thing everyone asked me 🀣

Westy22 · 26/01/2024 18:40

@Sez281 well I'm a bit disheartened as it didn't go up but moved down by 0.07C 🀣 now I know that's not alot but still. I had the crappest sleep due to the weather going mental again and woke a few times so whether that's impacted it? I dunno, my app is still pinpointing ovulation as when it dropped so who knows 🀣 I had my bloods today so will have the results next week.
I'm sorry about the bfn, I definitely believe it's going to happen for you, IVF may just be the nudge you need to help πŸ’• I can't even get my head round the idea of it not happening for me, it's scares me so much. I only waited to start trying till now because the OH wanted to buy a house first, I've been ready for years...so I'm trying to refrain myself from blaming him for making me wait this long πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

@Supertrooper101 that's an amazing result πŸ’• fingers crossed for you x

Supertrooper101 · 26/01/2024 18:43

@xxcxdonxx i understand ! Its shit isnt it. Is your consultant the fertility clinic? Mine discharged straight away πŸ™! Well, got me a scan with epu, then discharged me lol i called my drs and told them epu told me to ring for bloods. And so they did them. But the 48hrs apart one they had no appointments so i asked for the blood form and booked my self in at path lab for it to be done. Is that an option where you are? What are the bloods youve had done then, then ones outa whack? This tommys thing, can anyone just ring for a chat?

Paws4thought · 26/01/2024 18:45

@Supertrooper101 those numbers seem really good, how far will you be at your scan next week?
@Jadeypie you're doing really well not testing, I couldn't resist in the end even though I was adamant I was going to wait πŸ™ˆ
@Sez281 sorry about the negative, things can change in a day tho, hoping for a positive outcome for you, do you feel any different for taking the pessaries?
@xxcxdonxx I'm glad you've managed to speak to someone, at least they were able to offer some advice so you know you're doing the right things. When will you be 6 weeks for the scan? Would there be a heartbeat at that point if all is well?
I'm good, trying to be excited but also realistic that things might not go how I want. I did a test this morning which was darker so that's good and I've got a digital weeks one to do Sunday as AF would be due tomorrow.

Sounds like heart burn is super common so I'll look forward to it getting worse if it means I get a healthy baby 😊

Supertrooper101 · 26/01/2024 18:48

@Westy22 i rekon a crap nights sleep could have made a difference. And its only a small dip so i would ignor that one lol the rain was crazy here last night too. Just came out of nowhere and sounded like smashing glass! Ive got a huge tree out front andscenes of poltiguest just spring to mind lol plus a tree at the back up bloody rooted and fell down monday too πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ like, how, everything around it was fine 🀣...

Paws4thought · 26/01/2024 18:51

@Westy22 I don't understand the temps but 0.07 seems tiny so hopefully just a blip.

xxcxdonxx · 26/01/2024 19:44

@Supertrooper101 it’s mental all the phone calls and appointments!
Yeah she’s with recurrent miscarriage, I don’t actually know what the process is and if I’m still meant to call her but she wasn’t about anyway. Not sure about the bloods, when I called gp they didn’t offer any alternative to EPU doing them but i didn’t push it either. I’ve never really had to get bloods taken before so I’m not sure of the process with them.

Don't know about Tommys but I thought I would just chance it anyway since it’s Tommys advise I am following and she didn’t chase me off the phone at least.

That’s a great sign @Paws4thought It’s difficult to be positive when you’ve experienced the alternative but everything crossed for you.
6 weeks is the earliest they will see me, might be heartbeat then but I don’t think guaranteed. I’m only actually 4+1 but because I had a crazy early ovulation it feels further on. So I’ve 12 long days to wait but fully expecting not to need it.

Paws4thought · 26/01/2024 20:00

@xxcxdonxx Thank you :) Are you definite you ovulated early? Maybe it's just slightly slow starting and will pick up 🀞its difficult finding the middle ground of being positive but also realistic and wishing time away to get an answer. Do you have a local midwife team? Could they refer you to EPU for bloods?

xxcxdonxx · 26/01/2024 20:48

@Paws4thought im pretty sure of my ovulation as I love an opk and got a few days of peak tests but I know what you mean, its not an exact science date wise. I haven’t been in contact with my midwife as yet, they are normally 6 weeks too. I’m hopeful I’ll know more over the weekend and can try again on Monday for an appointment for bloods x
