@Bugdem123 I wish I could find a happy medium! That’s good you’re getting a counselling appointment. I have a therapist too that I see weekly, she’s helping me work through the trauma from the missed miscarriage. Sometimes it’s good just to talk to someone who is impartial and I find it helps to validate my feelings and grief. I hope it goes well for you ❤️

@ThelastRolo20 Oh no 🙈 I really struggled physically after my MVA too it was hell so my heart goes out to you ❤️

GoldDustWoman90 · 27/01/2024 08:58

Boots own brand early response this morning - should be 13DPO but I'm guessing this would be okay if I implanted towards the end of the window, like 11dpo or something?

Pic was taken after 3 minutes exactly so hoping not an evap

Heart is telling me if there is a line then it's probably a chemical because it's so faint 😔

.......the Easy@Home is darker?!?!!!!

Not sure if this is right. Surely the boots would be more sensitive?

@GoldDustWoman90 there are definitely faint lines! It's just a waiting game now I'm afraid but I really hope they continue getting darker ❤️

Project egg for me has now commenced! Vitamins have arrived and I've gone for my first run in about 6 months. I was thinking that I'm definitely going to take aspirin next time. With my first and successful pregnancy I went running in my first trimester which would have boosted blood supply. I haven't with my last two pregnancies and whenever I've given blood they've commented that my blood struggles to come out. So I wonder if my general blood supply is a bit rubbish around my body! All just theories of course 😂

I thought/hoped my days of POAS were over, but here I am, almost excited, to do day 1 of CBOPK tomorrow.
No idea what to expect as I'll be 12 days post surgical management of miscarriage.
Not sure what will be happening as I've still got faint lines on HCG but I'm eager to get monitoring again and TTC ASAP.
Anyone had any experience of LH monitoring soon after MC?
X

Hi ladies, I'm back from my holiday - hope you are all doing well. I mostly kept up with the new messages while I was away although I didn't have time to post - won't attempt to reply to them though as there were loads! I hope those who have had recent losses are doing okay, and congratulations @GeorgeR28 on your BFP - that's great news, although understandable that you are feeling cautious.

How is everyone else doing? Anybody approaching O-day or the end of the TWW?

My big update is that AF didn't show up at all on my holiday (some of you might remember I wasn't sure when she was due as I ovulated early this month) - so I took a test as soon as I got home this afternoon... Feeling slightly disbelieving, surprisingly calm at the moment and hoping I can stay that way as this sinks in.

@123456789ss I started using OPKs when I was a couple of weeks post-surgical management but hadn't had a negative pregnancy test yet. I got my negative test 3 weeks after the surgery and my LH peak was the next day. It's different for everyone but it was a good indication of my cycle returning to normal.

ThelastRolo20 · 27/01/2024 13:55

@CluelessInLondon ah this is wonderful news!! Congratulations 😍🤩

CluelessInLondon · 27/01/2024 14:00

@ThelastRolo20 Thank you lovely. ❤️ Hope you are okay after your surgery, and I love the sound of Project Egg! I'm now convinced I conceived this month because I had a super keen egg that wanted to be released early!

Wise0wl · 27/01/2024 14:02

Congratulations @CluelessInLondon! how many DPO are you? What lovely lovely news.

I’m on CD15 but ovulated early and am now entering the tww, we’ll see how it goes…

CluelessInLondon · 27/01/2024 14:10

@Wise0wl 17DPO today - the early ovulation really threw me so I could only narrow down my period being due to anytime from Monday-Friday this week. Decided to live in ignorance as I didn't want to be worrying about doing pregnancy tests and stuff on holiday, and I figured if my period hadn't arrived by today then I could be 100% certain it was late. Maybe it will be a lucky early ovulation for you too!

Can I ask how long you have been TTC?
Thanks

Haylsttc · 27/01/2024 15:34

@GoldDustWoman90 I can definitely see the line and it is a good sign that the easy at home is getting darker 😊

@ThelastRolo20 project egg sounds good, got my fingers crossed it works for you! Before I fell pregnant in April I had been on a health kick since January and I’m convinced it helped with egg health and was part of the reason I conceived so quickly the first time around!

@CluelessInLondon Oh that’s amazing congratulations 🥰 Did you do anything differently this cycle apart from early ovulation happening? Always good to hear tips! I’m 6dpo today and my AF is due on Friday so just a waiting game at the moment.

@123456789ss I didn’t ttc again until AF came after my surgical management however it took five weeks for my AF to arrive after the surgery so I can only presume I ovulated around week three but that’s just a guess 🤷‍♀️ let us know how you get on!

Bugdem123 · 27/01/2024 15:34

@ThelastRolo20 men 🤦🏻‍♀️ hope you feel more normal soon and looking forward to hearing how operation egg goes. I've been taking high dose folate, coQ10 and vitamin D as well as a prenatal and I'm really hoping it's improved my egg quality. Well done on going for the run!

@Wise0wl we've done a version of SMEP this month too! My positive OPK was slightly earlier than I'd anticipated so not quite followed it to a T but still hoping for the best. I'm definitely feeling better than I was but I really struggle in the TWW and when my period comes. I have a lot of anger towards all sorts of things and still feel so sad a lot of the time so I'm hoping speaking to someone helps. My husband and friends/family have been so supportive but none of them have any experience of this so sometimes say things that I find myself wanting to scream at them for. Have you got anything planned to take your mind off the TWW?

@Haylsttc that's good you're finding it helpful, I'm hoping I will too.

@CluelessInLondon congratulations!! So chuffed for you 🩷🌈 I hope you had a good holiday? You're also giving me some hope as I've ovulated early this cycle so fingers crossed it's my lucky egg too.

I think I've ovulated yesterday or today going by the OPKs and the slight temp rise; it's prob about 2 days earlier than my avg post MC but I'm going to stay hopeful. I'm away to Ireland next weekend so getting ready for that and being away should help me pass the TWW at least.

CluelessInLondon · 27/01/2024 15:46

@123456789ss This was our third cycle trying again after my MC in September - that time we conceived on the fourth cycle. Hoping this one is a sticky bean - it's been sliding down mountains with me all week so maybe it's a tough one. 🤞

@Haylsttc Thank you! We didn't actually set out to do anything much different this month, but with the early ovulation we ended up DTD the three days before O-day and then the day after as well - so a bit like SMEP but kind of the wrong way around! Hadn't intended to do that but when my LH peak arrived early I thought we'd better take advantage!

@Bugdem123 Thank you lovely, and I had a really nice holiday - was so good to get away and reset, and actually quite nice to know that testing wasn't really an option until we got home today. Really hope you get an early ovulation bonus this cycle too. ❤️

ThelastRolo20 · 27/01/2024 16:04

I think I'm having a weird day due to a hormone crash (I recognise this from last time!).

I keep switching between thinking April/ May (when we're planning on restarting) is a million miles away. But then I think if we did start after my next period, and it didn't go well again, then I'd just regret not allowing time for vitamins to fully take effect. Is waiting the right thing? I wish March wouldn't end up with a Christmas baby otherwise I'd be tempted to start then 🤦‍♀️

Really doesn't help that my SIL keeps texting me saying how difficult things are with her newborn and other child. I know it's tough, but I'd do anything to be in her position right now. She knows about the MC but I know I'm just being overly sensitive

Ladyinpink1 · 27/01/2024 18:18

@ThelastRolo20 it's a hard decision to make, I hope things become clearer for you over these next days. My sil is also pregnant and I found it hard when she was telling me how bad she was feeling with the nausea, I felt like saying I would take nausea and anything else to be pregnant again (of course I didn't actually say that). I tagged you in the other thread. Hopefully I did it right x

Oh my goodness, little ski baby!! @CluelessInLondon what a lovely surprise 🥰 congratulations, I'm sure you are still in shock x

That's a good idea @Haylsttc abd would be great if you got it through gp x

@Bugdem123 a friend got her peak at 12dpo and was a successful cycle! So I don't think it's too early, hoping you catch that egg x

I can really see a line in the easy at home test @GoldDustWoman90 x

Hope everyone else is ok... I have had a really tough day, my breasts have been really tender since last night, still feeling some cramping and then I felt I could smell extra and had a disturbed sleep last night (all previous symptoms for me) so I started thinking oh my goodness this could be it and i really did get my hopes up but I tested this morning and it was a very clear stark white bfn. Just feeling deflated and a little depressed. Sorry for being a moany myrtle l will be fine again tomorrow I'm sure, just felt like a rant lol. x

OP posts:
ThelastRolo20 · 27/01/2024 18:25

@Ladyinpink1 I'm sorry - bfns really are so deflating. How many DPO are you? X

Wise0wl · 27/01/2024 18:40

@CluelessInLondon honestly it’s such wonderful news. I was worried the early ov meant less likely to be successful this month, but your experience has given me a bit of hope!

@Bugdem123 similar then timing wise, we dtd CD 7, 9, static smiley on CB on CD11 so CD11,12,13 and then will do today if I can summon the energy 😂 exhausted!

@ThelastRolo20 you’re not being oversensitive, and your feelings are valid. Perhaps your SIL is misjudging things and is trying to make you feel like the grass isn’t greener on the other side…? I worried too about March, but now given that nothing is guaranteed, I’m just going to press ahead anyway. I’m sure a December baby would be lovely!

So sorry for the bfn @Ladyinpink1. Are you able to take some time for you this weekend? X

ThelastRolo20 · 27/01/2024 18:43

@Wise0wl oh I agree a December baby would be wonderful. It's more my husband's work - he'd rather not have a new born at his busiest time of year.

It's very annoying 😂

SnookyPook · 27/01/2024 19:08

@CluelessInLondon 😍 what wonderful news! That's just lovely and what a great end to your holiday! Love the thought of tiny bean implanting and tagging along as you whizz down the slopes 😄💗 Made up for you!

Wise0wl · 27/01/2024 19:54

@ThelastRolo20 😂 ahhh that makes more sense!

Bali200 · 27/01/2024 20:14

Congratulations @CluelessInLondon what wonderful news 🌈 it seems like a tough little bean to survive the slopes 💗 x

CluelessInLondon · 27/01/2024 21:28

@Ladyinpink1 @SnookyPook @Bali200 Thank you for the kind wishes - honestly, the level of support on this thread just blows me away. I so hope there are BFPs coming soon for everyone who hasn't had one yet. ❤️

@Ladyinpink1 Sorry to hear it was a BFN today - how many DPO are you/when is AF due? Hoping you were just a bit early with the test.

Bugdem123 · 27/01/2024 22:32

@ThelastRolo20 the hormone crash is really rough, I hope you're feeling okay. I don't think you're being too sensitive at all. One of my friends has recently had a baby and I've found some of the things she's complained about quite tough at times. I think it's only natural and we shouldn't beat ourselves up over it.

@Ladyinpink1 I'm so sorry about the negative test. It's so tough when you think this is the cycle and get that negative test. I hope you're being extra nice to yourself tonight. What DPO are you? Could it maybe just be a little too early?

@Wise0wl my OPKs started to rise on CD11 and I got a peak first thing on CD12 so we've hit CDs 11, 12 and 13 and going to try and do tomorrow for good measure. I'm also done in 😂.

@CluelessInLondon thank you 🩷 I'm so glad you had a good time and what a good way to end it.
