@Ladyinpink1 I’m glad not to be alone in my aspirin dilemma, even if neither of us has any answers! I might start taking half a tablet a day and see how it goes… am also on the same CoQ10 as you and make DH take it also!

GeorgeR28 · 25/01/2024 12:02

@Ladyinpink1 thankyou so much, how are you doing?

how is everyone today? I completely understand if not because I know how triggering it is, but I think I’ve had a positive test this morning- I was wondering if I can post to see what you ladies think? It’s faint and second morning urine but I’m absolutely terrified of an indent so I’m not getting excited at all and too scared to test again..

Wise0wl · 25/01/2024 12:07

@GeorgeR28 that is potentially, cautiously exciting! I’d be absolutely fine with you posting, it’s really kind of you to check.

Wise0wl · 25/01/2024 12:09

Also, how many days are you @GeorgeR28?

I think how I feel about it is that when I’m not thinking about pregnancy (eg in my life with friends or work) I find surprise announcements about pregnancy a shock, and where the dates coincide with my losses or my hopes, I find that really hard. But all of you are in just as tough a place as me and I would be genuinely delighted for you all to get your bfps and sticky beans. It gives me hope that I’ll get mine. X

GeorgeR28 · 25/01/2024 12:15

@Wise0wl thankyou so much I appreciate it! I’m 12DPO & used second morning urine I don’t know why I just got the urge to test.
im with you on that one, especially with the coin-siding dates. It almost makes you feel like you’re stuck in one place watching everyone else move on? I hope you’re doing okay, I come on this thread everyday and read how brave everyone is and it helps me to keep going!
ill wait a bit longer until other people have seen my post because I really don’t want to upset anyone ❤️

ThelastRolo20 · 25/01/2024 12:30

@GeorgeR28 please go ahead! No issues at all with positive tests here 😍

SnookyPook · 25/01/2024 12:31

@GeorgeR28 aw that's so thoughtful of you and potentially very exciting! When you add the image you could always flag it as sensitive and put a warning on so people only open it and see it if they choose to. However, I think most of us agree with what @Wise0wl has said that BFPs on these threads are wonderful because we all know what we've been through and it also provides hope. 💕

HerbaceousPerennial · 25/01/2024 12:32

@GeorgeR28 I don’t mind either! I feel like any positives on this thread give me a lot of hope, not the same thing as a normal announcement at all. Feeling positive for you 😊

@Ladyinpink1 definitely AF. Mildly disappointed to have missed an egg but actually pretty relieved to not have to worry about DTD for a bit, plus it means I can really focus on signs of ovulation in a couple of weeks and see if I can get a bit more in tune with my body.

GeorgeR28 · 25/01/2024 12:34

@SnookyPook @ThelastRolo20 thankyoy so much I really appreciate it, you’re all so kind and supportive! 🤍

I’ll add it on this post and like you said I’ll put the sensitive over it!
im 12DPO, smu. These easy @ home are all I have and I’ve only ever had stark negatives on them in the past but I’m worried it’s an ident because it’s so faint. It did come up within the time frame though

@GeorgeR28 I would say that's definitely a positive! similar to in my current pregnancy at 12dpo, which is so early! congratulations <3

SnookyPook · 25/01/2024 12:37

@GeorgeR28 that doesn't look too faint to me! 😍 Definitely positive! 💗

graceinc22 · 25/01/2024 12:38

this was my current pregnancy at 11dpo (the top is a standard boots strip, the bottom is a boots early detection). i'm now 11+2 and had a good scan at 7w with heartbeat etc. have added the sensitive label. x

@SnookyPook I can’t believe it, I feel not excited yet I don’t know why? I honestly just cannot believe that it could be it, does that make sense or am I just being weird

GeorgeR28 · 25/01/2024 12:41

@graceinc22 omg that gives me a lot of reassurance! Thankyou so much. I’m going to try and get to boots today but my mum is down to visit and my partner is away this weekend so I don’t want to tell anyone before him! Feel like I’m going to explode haha

SnookyPook · 25/01/2024 12:44

I'm still feeling that a bit at 11wks so completely get it! Was in shock the day I got my first test - particularly as we hadn't actively tried that month (it was straight after my last MC)!

samilicious · 25/01/2024 12:47

@Ladyinpink1 @HerbaceousPerennial yes cmon party at mine. If the spread sounds bad, imagine the playlist... 🎶 Let's talk about TTC, let's talk about you and me 🎶 😂

@Ladyinpink1 Thank you btw about the journey thing. Feels a lot when you right it down. Any more symptoms?

@HerbaceousPerennial great news about your cycle evening out! The seeds and every else are paying off. Sorry AF is here though :(

@GeorgeR28 hope you're ok and glad it went by without too much sadness ♥️ amazing news about the positive test! We need some hope on here x

@Wise0wl bit crap first two days, just thinking about managing stuff in life a bit better because everything feels a lot at the mo. Sorry your fate is playing on your mind ♥️ time always hits harder than actually going through it at the time for me, not sure about you.

@ThelastRolo20 sounds like a great plan and glad you're physically ok. I'm thinking of taking a few months off too, just because each month that's gone by has got me more and more stressed so surely not helpful

ThelastRolo20 · 25/01/2024 12:50

@samilicious thank you - I sometimes think even a month or two can be good but it's always individual choice. Part of mine is also to allow cycles to go back to normal, that way if it takes a couple of months I won't be frustrated 😂 my husband says I am many things but patient is not one of them!

GeorgeR28 · 25/01/2024 12:54

@samilicious oh really! So at least it’s not just me. I feel like I can’t get my hopes up until the line is a bit darker, I’ll try to get to boots today but I don’t think I’ll test for another few days, I’m terrified of being disappointed! Funnily enough I’d given up hope this month so I’m in shock

GeorgeR28 · 25/01/2024 12:54

@samilicious thankyou so much! I’m scared to get my hopes up right this second 🫣

ThelastRolo20 · 25/01/2024 12:55

@GeorgeR28 congratulations! This is much needed positive news 😍😍 really hope everything goes well xx

Wise0wl · 25/01/2024 15:25

@GeorgeR28 congratulations!! It’s such a boost to have good news on this thread. Totally get you feeling scared to get your hopes up, as someone on here said earlier on: today you are pregnant and that’s all we can really bank on, just take it day by day x

@HerbaceousPerennial sorry about AF but it’s always a good sign to have a more normal cycle. (Also laughed at your relief about not having to dtd as i’m following SMEP which is absolutely exhausting…)

@samilicious so sorry everything feels like a lot. I think it’s because everything is a lot. I’m a massive over thinker so I’m sure that once the dates are here I’ll be relieved, but also suspect it’ll be less bad than I think. I sort of had a cycle off last month and I think it probably helped to just relax a bit more. Sending lots of positive thoughts to you x

Haylsttc · 25/01/2024 15:44

@GeorgeR28 that definitely looks positive to me, congratulations!

I love seeing positive tests on this thread, it really gives me hope that I might get one again too 😊

ThelastRolo20 · 25/01/2024 15:53

@Wise0wl I'm the same as you, I think I'll feel better once the dates have been and gone. My friend also got pregnant 6 weeks after me so I'm also looking forward to her little one being here, I think that'll be easier than seeing her pregnant. Not sure if that makes sense or not

Ladyinpink1 · 25/01/2024 16:35

@ThelastRolo20 lol about your husband. I'm sure it really does feel far but I hope the time flies in for you and you will be growing lovely healthy eggs x

@Wise0wl Yes I really do think about it quite alot, wish I knew what to do... actually, I might make a thread on the conception board asking any ladies who have tried it to give their experiences, might be helpful! Oh really, great minds think alike! x

@HerbaceousPerennial I'm really sorry af has arrived, sending a hug to you, maybe you could have some nice food and wine (or your drink of choice) this weekend. Will you try anything different to pinpoint your ovulation? Have you ever tried bbt? x

@GeorgeR28 congratulations! 🎉 same as previous person said, I don't think the line looks faint at all, it's a great line! And hopefully you start a good roll of good news over these next months. I think it can be hard to believe it, maybe take a few days to sink in but that's a definite strong line! x

@samilicious eh nope, you are still not selling it to me but 10 out of 10 for your inventiveness on the playlist. Did your corer arrive?
Not really, I just have some light cramps but according to my cycle journal, I can have light cramps on lots of cycles at this time so just ignoring them. I was very tempted to test today because 8dpo is always when I used to first test but I feel differently now like I need to try to guard my mental health so I will hold off as long as I can because the earlier the negative test, the harder it is to deal with it. x

@Ladyinpink1 thankyou! Do you think so yeah? First time I was pregnant I tested when my period was late so the lines were were so strong. I’m going to test again tomorrow morning but I’m so scared.
Yes I hope we all get some good luck to start the year off nicely 🤍
