TTC after ectopic/after loss/older age etc ALL WELCOME 🙂

Hello,

Would anyone like to join a thread for TTC after ectopic/miscarriage, or when facing other challenges eg age, PCOS etc? DP and I have just decided to try again for no2, and I'm going to come off the pill. It would be nice to have some buddies to share experiences and support each other 🙂

About me:

Pregnancy 1: conceived first cycle age 35, healthy pregnancy, DS born summer 2021 (now age 2)

Pregnancy 2: conceived first cycle age 37, ectopic, surgery November 2022

My plan is to eat well, exercise, cut out alcohol, and generally look after myself.

Because I got pregnant quickly both times, I'm hoping our chances are still good...no idea how only having the one fallopian tube is going to affect things 😬

I think I'll do OPKs but not sure about temping yet.

I hate doing holds! I'm so impatient... Yeah I couldn't see any FRER in the shops here either (UK, north east), but there were some on Amazon. Very annoying you can't get them at all, clearblue really aren't that clear! Shame you also can't get wondfo - presumably no equivalents either like easy@home?

I have easy at home and two very faint lines came up. Used water on another 2 and they were negative.

Very faint clear blue as well.

The only thing that's making me doubt myself is I've increased clear slippery discharge that I'd associate with ovulation

Well ladies, I don't know what's going on. It's a bfn. I genuinely saw a light line at 3 mins but it disappeared soon after and negative digital. Maybe I am just ovulating. Period isn't due till the 4th so it would make sense

@Ella31 oh I'm sorry this one was negative, even if it is just ovulation, it is still possible that this is your cycle. Fingers crossed.

Clearblues are shocking - had lines in the first 3 mins on most of them.

Ah sorry @Ella31 clearblue are the worst. But like @CatCaretaker said this could still be your month.

Loads of egg white mucus today. I think I'm ovulating

Ovulation tests yesterday. I'm close I'd say. Lots of egwm

@Ella31 that's definitely looking hopeful! When mine rose a bit I also tended to do an evening one around 8pm - my peak was often detected on the evening test and then dropping again next day. If by any chance you have a fairly quick peak, that may have been the case on CD20. But see what you get day 22 which will hopefully clarify!

Fingers crossed for you. I remember my symptoms with my boys was very sore boobs and cramps.

Currently awake with a poorly 2yo for the second night in a row... He's just dropped off and feels less hot. Nurofen must have kicked in. Now the rain is hammering on the window. So bloody tired! Got my booking in today.

Test was negative as expected. I'll test again tonight but I'm not getting hopes up this cycle.

Aw poor thing, nothing worse than that and then you are lacking sleep too. How are you feeling?

This is my ovulation today. Easy at home looks good but fermometer isn't as high. Static smiley on opk
