TTC after ectopic/after loss/older age etc ALL WELCOME 🙂

Hello,

Would anyone like to join a thread for TTC after ectopic/miscarriage, or when facing other challenges eg age, PCOS etc? DP and I have just decided to try again for no2, and I'm going to come off the pill. It would be nice to have some buddies to share experiences and support each other 🙂

About me:

Pregnancy 1: conceived first cycle age 35, healthy pregnancy, DS born summer 2021 (now age 2)

Pregnancy 2: conceived first cycle age 37, ectopic, surgery November 2022

My plan is to eat well, exercise, cut out alcohol, and generally look after myself.

Because I got pregnant quickly both times, I'm hoping our chances are still good...no idea how only having the one fallopian tube is going to affect things 😬

I think I'll do OPKs but not sure about temping yet.

I'm kind of doubting myself now as I just got a positive ovulation on two cheapies. Well either way, if I'm not pregnant, I'll sure as hell be dtd the next two days

Ooh best of luck @Ella31 - my understanding is LH can show high in response to HCG but don't think it works the other way round... So hopefully you're picking up an early BFP. Keeping everything crossed for you 🙏🏼

@Ella31 what are the different sensitivities of the tests?

Apparently they are both 10 so I'm thinking now I got 4 indents

Did you take a photo @Ella31 ? Hopefully it's just too early even for the early digital to pick up, if it's a super faint line x

I did but the photo has no colour where as in real life it does.

That looks exactly like mine did... Not to get your hopes up too much as I know clearblue have a reputation for evaps etc. But yeah, mine turned into a bfp. CB pic was 8dpo, wondfo 9dpo evening.

You might have to zoom in and squint to see them @Ella31 😂

Oh I seriously hope I have your luck. I stupidly took another cb a while ago. Negative. Only about 2 and a half hours after the faint line so hoping its just not built up in the urine

@Ella31 Did you take the digital after you had taken your others? Your wee might have been more diluted which is why the digital was negative?

No same time unfortunately. I'm thinking they were indents

Definitely, either way I'm dtd tonight as if my ovulation is high and negative test tomorrow, I'm clearly ovulating and that's exciting too

Took two 6 days early clearblue this morning. Both had faint lines again, however the lines both appeared in 3 minutes rather closer to 10 yesterday. The cb early digital was negative still.

I'm trying to work out when I possibly could have conceived [if I have] I dtd on the 12th, 15th and 17th. Can't be the 12, it surely would be blazing.

Hoping tomorrow it will be stronger again. Its still very faint but came up sooner than yesterday.

I also feel odd, sore back and cramps like im coming on my af. I remember I had this when I pregnant with my boys. But my period isn't due till the 4th according to my app.

Feel so silly putting them up as they are so faint. I took another test there and it's negative. I did have a coffee before taking it though.

I took another CB about 30 mins after I had a coffee. Negative. Would the fluid have diluted it.

I had 3 lines this morning within 3 mins but after a coffee this afternoon, another test was negative. Hoping it was just too diluted

Probably just too diluted @Ella31, I know it’s hard waiting but you’ll see more progression if you stick to FMU

You are so right. I've locked my tests away till tomorrow morning. Oh I really hope this is it.

Good luck @Ella31 I had a negative wondfo test 9dpo in the afternoon, but then a positive one in the evening after a 4hr hold. So it could easily be your urine is too diluted, yeah. Fingers crossed for tomorrow ☺️

Oh please god. I only have access to clear blue and boots ones here. First response have been discontinued here in Ireland and I can't get the wondfo here either.

Lol. I haven't drank or peed since 1pm , so squirming here till 6pm🤣
