Hello,

Would anyone like to join a thread for TTC after ectopic/miscarriage, or when facing other challenges eg age, PCOS etc? DP and I have just decided to try again for no2, and I'm going to come off the pill. It would be nice to have some buddies to share experiences and support each other 🙂

About me:

Pregnancy 1: conceived first cycle age 35, healthy pregnancy, DS born summer 2021 (now age 2)

Pregnancy 2: conceived first cycle age 37, ectopic, surgery November 2022

My plan is to eat well, exercise, cut out alcohol, and generally look after myself.

Because I got pregnant quickly both times, I'm hoping our chances are still good...no idea how only having the one fallopian tube is going to affect things 😬

I think I'll do OPKs but not sure about temping yet.

Hi all. Just a little vent. I started taking my bbt this month and I'm wondering if I'm actually ovulating. Im cd 13 and its not showing ovulation yet. A few days a go I had ovulation pains and increased sex drive so thought I must be. My cycle is usually between 22 and 28 days. I have been away this week in a very hot cabin so my temps were a bit higher compared to at home. I'm 44 almost 45 so now worrying that I don't actually ov even though I thought I was. Hmmm.

Well I have no will power and caved and did an internet cheapy at 8dpo its was negative no surprise and I know it’s early but still feel absolutely rubbish and so sad. My last two pregnancies I got pregnant first month, I’m just hoping my misscarriage at 16 weeks hasn’t made it impossible for us. I’m also 37 so feel time is not my best friend.

Hey im sorry your feeling crap.
This process is so exhausting mentally I totally understand your feelings. Thinking about it you have alot more patience and strength than me I ttc 3 cycles and it didn’t work so just gave up. I was feeling sh** mentally drained as i had conceived both my kids accidentally just the one mistake and now i actually want a DC but its not happening it doesn’t help that i have been diagnosed with a thyroid condition which keeps making me doubt myself whether or not my body can do this. Its super difficult 😞 hang on tight hopefully you get your bfp soon and you’ll get through this in no time 🤞 .

@Nic2908 Hang tight lovely, you’re not out yet. I was negative on 8dpo too! I understand the disappointment though but it’s still super early. Sending hugs x

Im out got my first AF since miscarriage. Thought there was hope I conceived before it but nope, think she's going be a b too. Congrats to all the bfp ,baby dust to those still waiting

@Hannahbally could be the hot cabin? I found bbt made me more stressed... You can get progesterone urine tests on Amazon now to confirm ovulation, might be easier?

Thanks ladies. I feel like I’m expecting something to happen, the inevitable. I guess that’s normal following a loss? I want to feel the joy and I’m just petrified that it’s going to be a stupid evap or something like that

Yeah definitely understandable. Are you going to do another test in the morning? Highly unlikely to get evaps on two tests in a row

I should have read on, I see that you're worried, which is understandable, but I hope you can hold on to some of that excitement from your first BFP post.

Had a scare this morning, freer was positive but I took an internet cheapy which was completely negative. Obviously the irrational woman in me ran straight to boots to buy a test 😂😂 but we are looking good. Top one is yesterday, and the bottom two are this morning. 🥰🥰🥰

Ladies update: remember I said my ovulation was all over the place which makes sense as I had a serious loss in November. Well I tested Hcg today and I've got a vvfl on an early clear. Tested 3 more and all have faint line within 5 minutes. The early digital was negative but let's wait and see.

Thank you. It's weird I did get a peak on cb a few days ago but because the cheapies were not not high I ignored it. We dtd every other day this month so we will see. I'm totally prepared for it to be negative tomorrow though 🤣
