Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

Please join! And hopefully we see some BFPs this month.

Hi, 13dpo here and bfn, had spotting yesterday and cramps just like af today so assume she's come early and I'm out for October!
Also ttc baby no2, my ds is 14 months actual (12 corrected) we also wanted 2 under 2 so we shall see!

10dpo and AF turned up this morning on to cycle 3 trying for 1st baby

Hey ladies! We’ve began trying for 2nd in Aug then missed Sept cause we were both away separately, back to trying this month! Just finished AF and due to ovulate on Monday. I’ve started using ovulation sticks and I BBT any way so really hoping to get more accurate ovulation this month!
LO is 2 in a couple of weeks! You ladies are super women wanting 2 under 2 😂 I don’t know how parents do it! 💪🏻

@Mama09876 I must be mad wanting another so soon after having a baby born 2 months premature spending a month in the NICU! But I'm 33 and my chances of having pregnancy complication/another preemie is high so figured I should try again whilst I'm young enough to minimise any possible risks. Also we have been wanting to get married since covid cancelled our wedding in Cyprus so may as well have another baby first then focus on that and getting my figure back lol. Also for work. I dunno I guess I'm trying to convince myself there is no right time but I feel ready now so let's gooooo! 🤣

I’m cycle day 10 today! Just started testing with the OPKs this morning, will do every second day until around cycle day 13 and then every day-multiple times when I see a line starting to form so I can catch my peak hopefully.

My ovulation day has varied from CD19 to CD35 so it’s always a bit of a guessing game when it’ll happen……

CD 7 here and my new box of OPKs just arrived.

@Sleepysheepish it can be annoying can't it! When I got pregnant with DS it said I ovulated on CD 10 I think. I went back to tracking LH last month and had my peak on CD 18, although it was so low I'm not even sure I ovulated. A 14 day potential ovulation day though is very long!!

Hi everyone 👋🏼 I'm sorry to hear AF arrived for you too. CD3 for me, I'm due to start using OPKs in a few days. From getting feedback from the October thread we're probably BD at slightly wrong times so we're going to try a bit harder & hope it helps 😄

I’m TTC our 2nd baby, currently on our third cycle but the first was quite a ‘casual try’!!

Currently CD6 and still have AF here very heavy which is unusual for me and is making me a little worried! It’s only my third cycle however since having my little girl as I’m breastfeeding.

@HRHXO you are completely right though there’s defo never a right time so why not try! I’m the same age 33, and I think if I was younger I probably would wait a bit longer but I just said to my husband, we’re tired, skint, and have no social life now let’s just do it now and try for another 😂 might as well be more tired and more skint.
will be lovely having your babies there at the wedding as well!
we had to postpone ours and had our LO in between so was nice for her to be in the photos

@Sleepysheepish I’m similar cycle to you, currently CD8 but it’s my first month of properly using OPKs so thought I’d start them from yesterday. Natural cycles predicts ovulation on Monday! So I’m hoping to DTD every other day from tomorrow 🤞🏻

@Mama09876 me too! And my LO is 2 in just over a couple weeks!
Agreed I am 36 had LO at 34 and know my clock is ticking so wanted them close I'm age. We want 4 kids..... Still time but need to get onto the Drs to see if there are any hindrances or just need bit more time.

@ReginaPhalange12 I saw something called 'sperm meets egg method' basically BD every 2nd day until you get a positive OPK then for the next 3 days in a row. Going to try that this month.

@Mama09876 I just checked my app I'm CD 8 as well. Flo predicts ovulation 26th Oct and Premom predicts 24th who knows

Flo is also giving me a potential due date for DS's birthday. I don't think he'd be too pleased!!

Hi everyone! Nice seeing some familiar names (though sorry there are no BFPs for us yet). My cycles always fall in and out of both months. Currently in my fertile week waiting for peak on CB ovulation tests. This is our 4th cycle trying for our first. Sending everyone luck this month ✨🤞🏻

@Mama09876 goodluck! I’d start every other day BD from now too if DH was up for it, instead I need to be very strategic 😅 I’ll try for three days in a row once I reach peak and hope it works 🤪

@pontipinemum I did see this & will consider doing it next cycle if we're not successful but with already having a DC plus some evening work it can make it a bit challenging.

@MrsP21918 Hi 👋🏼 it's probably just your body regulating / breastfeeding so try not to worry. I also find since TTC that my body does some strange things, trying to keep us on our toes!

quick question, anyone taking BBT? Mine still very low but getting EWMC today and not due to ovulate (according to NC till 23rd)
I know everyone can be different but how long before ovulation do you get EWMC? I thought it was soon after I’d be ovulating? Feels like I’m getting EWMC to soon? I dunno. Managed to DTD last night any way.

@Mama09876 I’m using a Tempdrop to track BBT! It’s been really good and very accurate so far.

I believe EWMC can turn up for up to a week before ovulation but don’t quote me!

Hi everyone - was in the october group, but seeing as it's going into November thought I'd join here!
On cycle 4 of TTC and on day 11 been ovulation testing but negative so far. Plus only managed to have sex once so far due to crazy work schedules! 😫

Okay moan time. Clear blue advanced has been flashing smiley the last two days…..this drives me nuts. The longest I had it on a flashing smiley was two weeks!! My Mira thinks I’m at least 5 days from ovulation, but that can change very quickly. Ugh. I wish I knew when I was going to ovulate!

@Sleepysheepish I get this! Just had 4 days of flashing smileys before my static this morning. I was tempted to swap to OPKs so I can see the two lines more clearly but with everything else TTC based I fear I’ll just go mad testing all the time and I don’t really have a job where I can test in the day to track.

@MrsHousePlant it’s really a pain! If I ovulate when I think (CD19) then I’ll get 9 days of flashing smileys……
And I’ve used the OPKs alongside the advanced monitor in the past and had them show I didn’t have a peak. And they were right, my BBT didn’t rise so I didn’t ovulate. It’s all pretty confusing 😅

Sorry I’m no help with the CB ovulation ones. Im using the easy at home ones (I think that’s what they’re called) but get it’s so frustrating it try and actually catch it! 😂 I remember now why I gave up on using them last time. I can’t test today so I’ll have to do it tonight, hoping the line will be a little bit darker than it has been! Had 3 days of very light.
gotta remember though I’m not actually due to ovulate till Monday! (According to NC)

Not sure what my BBT is doing this month either, I’ve been temping for years (previously for contraception) and normally get a steady rise over 36. Normally but at the minute it’s just not rising 🤷🏼‍♀️
thinking about it, whilst I’m typing, and maybe I’ll just end up ovulating later than the app says? App is normally accurate for me though so god knows. Got to try and not stress about it all 😂
