Sorry AF arrived @Sez281 we go again though 💪 this month AF has been different for me, very light day one, day 2 it went heavy and now we're back to light 🫠 is it weird i was happy it got a bit heavy? 🤣 just felt like a proper period lol can't wait for it to end now though 🤣

Ohh that's a good loss @Jadeypie I probably put that on daily 🤣 definitely a good way to distract yourself 😊 I've got a very busy house month with lots of projects starting so I'm going to really distract myself with interior stuff I think. Will be trying to eat better and look after myself a little more too, however I won't have a kitchen for two weeks so might be living off takeaways 🐷

Definitely get yourself booked in for some self care @xxcxdonxx really helps me xxx

@Sez281 oh sorry to hear AF arrived. Hope you're ok. It's horrible when she toys with you and you really start thinking you might be in with a chance. She's due Tues/Weds for me so a few more days to go. I don't think I'm really feeling it though. Time will tell.

@Westy22 the house diy stuff sounds like a great distraction! I'm having the opposite problem with AF, I'm absolutely crippled to the point where I'm lashing painkillers in and it's so heavy 😭 Maybe it's because it was such a long cycle 🤷‍♀️ My diet is gone out the window this weekend cos I'm feeling so sorry for myself with it 🙈

@SnookyPook I hope the next couple of days fly in for you and you find out one way or another 🤞

Thanks @Sez281 12dpo here... my period cramps have arrived and my typical AF bowel movements so pretty sure she'll be popping by within a day or two! 😌

I just got a call from the consultants office from the fertility clinic to say they’ve had a cancellation for tomorrow morning (I was due to go on the 17th) so I’m jumping on it of course cos I want to start the ball rolling asap. I have a work drinks thing tonight so I’ll have to take it easy as don’t want to go in hungover 🥴🙈 I'm hoping as I'm in the middle of AF that if she prescribes me anything I'll be able to start straight away 🤞

@SnookyPook morning finished af so I'm just hopefully gearing up to ovulation. I'm not tracking or anything this month and keeping off my aps and let's see what happens xx

@Sez281 great news about getting your early appointment you will have to let us know what they say. Xx

Thanks guys. I've just spent the last hour writing out my app chart in clear terms to show her how my cycle usually works as I know I'll get all flustered trying to explain it. I've also just realised when I saw her name on the referral that the professor I'm meeting is the last one I saw in the epau in March who confirmed that my pregnancy wasn't viable 😞 It's kind of a blur but I vaguely remember thinking she was a bit cold at the time😢 . Hopefully I'm wrong!

@Jadeypie I think it's a great idea not tracking or stressing this month. Hopefully the more relaxed approach will work 🤞 xx

Aw @Sez281 that will be a bit weird for you. In terms of her seeming cold though, I guess it could have been linked to how you were feeling or possibly she goes into a certain mode to cope with those particular sad appointments almost to protect herself. You never know. Hopefully she will be warmer and more helpful tomorrow. Writing out your chart sounds like a great idea. Keep us posted! X

I think my bleeding has now stopped so hoping i start to find a bit more energy about me soon. My thoughts have also went to starting to track again although i know i won’t likely be ovulating for another few weeks. I don’t know if we are best waiting until we’ve been to the recurrent miscarriage clinic but also conscious that could be another 12weeks min and I don’t have the patience to wait that long!

@xxcxdonxx I think do what's best for you and how you feel. If you don't want to wait you don't have too xx

I have zero sex drive maybe it the hormones or whatever but I'm just all about the early nights in bed lately hahaha poor other half's balls are going to fall off 🤣🤣

@Jadeypie pmsl there'll be lots of good quality swimmers there waiting when it comes back for you 👌😂

@xxcxdonxx glad to hear that the bleeding has stopped. It's awful when it's such a reminder 😞 I guess if you've such a long wait for clinic it might be no harm vaguely tracking or just being aware of fertile window just in case. See how you feel though just take it day by day xx

So this morning was a waste of time. Was there 15 mins early for my 9.30 appointment and was told at 10am that the consultant was called away for emergency surgery so I’m back on Thursday afternoon 🙄 I was also very emotional going in as I had to pass the EPAU but at least I've got through it now. It doesn't help that my AF is horrific this week, so heavy and painful, it's usually nearly gone at this point. Feeling very sorry for myself 😭

I’m sorry to hear that @Sez281that is disappointing but I’m glad you have another appointment scheduled. It’s really hard having to go back to the same unit as all the feelings come back of last time you were there. My epau is beside the maternity assessment unit so having to wait outside and see all these lovely baby bumps walking around is always a bit painful.

@Jadeypie 🤣🤣 if it’s not fertile week then I’m tucked up in bed also!

Ah @Sez281 how frustrating! Hopefully all goes to plan Thurs. And I always find it such poor planning that they put all the baby loss bits of hospital right by the pregnancy/birthing suites etc. I mean, I get that practically it makes sense for the staf etc, but a bit more thought around entrances/exits and waiting areas wouldn't go amiss.

Ah I'm sorry it didn't go ahead @Sez281 hopefully Thursday comes round quickly for you, I can imagine it feels emotional going past epu I would be the same.

@Jadeypie that made me lol I don't really have a sex drive and the last few months have very much been a case of doing it because of the time of the month, my OH definitely feels a bit unloved at the moment as I've not been near for nearly two weeks 🙈🤣

@xxcxdonxx I would go with how you feel? If you want and feel ready to try again then go for it.

How you getting on @SnookyPook?

I'm well and truly in house mode and have a million and one things happening. I also went for my massage/reflexology and reiki this afternoon, I've never had reiki before and I honestly found it so strange like emotionally. Just going to chill this evening and try and maintain this calm I've come away with. AF has finished, I'm not going to track this month or early test. Wish me luck 🤣 x

I've had another day of cramps - have been convinced AF has arrived several times throughout the day but still nothing so far...

Morning everyone... 14dpo... well, this just goes to show you are truly never out until AF (doesn't) appear... really didn't think this was my month and have literally been expecting AF every time I've been to the toilet the last couple of days with the cramps etc.

We also only DTD twice this fertile week. One the night before peak opk and one the night after.

I'm feeling extremely cautious after the year I've had but 🤞🏻 This line is also stronger than my CP last cycle ever got....
