Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

Well this cycle we did day of ovulation and 2 days later, and if my lines are real then we timed it perfectly 🤩

I did SMEP this last cycle and got my BFP. We actually did it one extra day than SMEP suggests just because we were in the mood 😅

@WhatTheEll are you planning to test again tomorrow? I'm so invested in this and keeping everything crossed for a darker line tomorrow 🙏

Went out today and bought a CB digital, Superdrug and Boots pink dye tests. I'm thinking of doing the digital Friday (12DPO) 🤭

I'm 26 and currently 9dpo trying for number 3! We have a 2 year old and a 5 month old (I'm insane)!

Took a clear blue this afternoon and have a faint line, hoping it progresses in the coming days x

Just joining this thread now. I am currently ttc number 3. Have two kids...7 and 3. Hoping to have one more. Have been on the mini pill Cerelle since my last child and have just come off it 3 weeks ago. Still haven't had AF but have been having various symptoms like severe cramping, body aches, feeling sick, discharge etc. Not sure what is going on.

@WhatTheEll haha, to be honest we didn't really plan it. Felt ovulation a few hours after doing the deed and wasn't on contraception so our own fault really, but of course would be delighted to be pregnant again!

I need to have a read up on SMEP @MacNut it clearly works!

I'm feeling fine. Sooooo bloated and I'm zonking out at half 9 every evening so the tiredness is there too but apart from that and sore boobs, I'm fine. The downside to finding out so early is that these first few weeks are dragging!

Thanks so much! I'll do what I always do a book a scan for 7 weeks to make sure it is sticking and then I can TRY and relax. App has me at just over 4 weeks. I ovulated so late CD21.

I've done the same and have a scan booked for 7th October when I should be 7+ weeks.

Based on ovulation I'm 4+5 with EDD 18th May but based on LMP I'm a bit behind that with an EDD of 21st. We must be suuuuper close!

Omg mega close!!! My app is saying 4+3 so 20th May!!! Crazy close ♥️♥️

I'll have to see what this digital says tomorrow. Also haven't told my husband anything 🤣 I thought I could surprise him. All the other times I've just blurted through tears that I'm pregnant. We're going out for a meal tomorrow night and I was going to put something in the menu so when he opens it he finds out.... 🤪

Aw I love that idea to surprise your husband. I wish I'd done something like that with DP but I needed his eyes to detect the squinter and convince me I wasn't going mad 😂

I have been trying not to test again since the ICs that I had ran out but I caved last night & ordered two digital 🤦‍♀️ They should arrive tomorrow so I'm hoping to see 2-3 on it

My digital on Tues said "No" so if I test with a digital I expect to see 1-2 in all honesty which is a bit confusing.
I guess the scan will confirm dates for sure. Although with DC2 the scans kept varying by 9+ days 🙃 not helpful

4dpo here, don't think we're in with a chance this month as I ovulated earlier and DH was away with work so briefly burying my head in the sand

I'm 11DPO. Cycle 1 - first cycle back PP. DC2 just turned 1. It's a HUGE shock because DC2 took 18 months to conceive and DC1 only took 3 months but that was 7 years ago. X

@Rose38 it could be your body adjusting to not having the pill's hormones, but nothing like waiting to see what happens. If you don't get AF in a bit and have been DTD maybe buy some IC to test?
