Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

Today is day NINE of my folic acid. Why is time going by so slowly?? 51 more days to go….

I’m the same as you @Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow i have a 29th august child and do not want a summer baby for the same reason as you.
I see a big difference with the kids in my sons class

If I don’t fall pregnant this month too we will have a break for July and august @Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow

@Rightnow1245 I can beat that 🤣🤣 DC2 is 31st August! Same as @Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow though, I'd had two early mc prior so we weren't timing anything! If I had the choice this time I'd like an Autumn baby but honestly not fussy

So DH is back! I'm so happy and relieved... I was getting the hang of the solo parenting thing, but it was so exhausting!

We've DTD although I'm on CD19 and ovulation is long gone and OMG I was sooo horny this fertile phase! Crawling up the walls with DH so far away! It was driving me insane!...

We're going on hols on the 18th of September for 2 weeks, so we'll see how things go in terms of the date of my period and when I'll ovulate...

I won't pause the DTD to avoid a summer baby... I always wanted to avoid a December/January baby (due to being close to Christmas) and got a 2nd of January baby lol so now it's all valid in terms of birthday dates!... But being heavily pregnant during the summer isn't fun..... especially with my swollen Shrek feet that I always get in the 3rd trimester!

Good luck for those in the TWW! I can't wait for AF to make an appearance so that I can begin the next cycle.

I mean I should learn planning a babies birthday doesn’t always go to plan! My son was meant to be born on the 17th September 🤦‍♀️ he came 3 weeks early 😂 This time I’m cycle 3 and feel like I shouldn’t worry about the birthday thing but it just is so hard for the summer born kids but I guess as an adult summer is lovely 🥰

I also think that kids massively benefit from having an older sibling and that helps them seem a bit more mature whenever they are born. My DC2 is so much more grown up seeming than DC1 (poss also because she’s a girl?!).

We dtd last night at cd 15 which I think is o-1. Given up on opks so it’s just a total guess at this point that today is o day! Will see if we can go again tonight and then I’ll feel like we’ve given it a proper try this cycle.

HELP I'm going mad. This is today 9DPO.
I was expecting absolutely nothing in FRER but now I think this is evap. I'm surprised it shows up on camera tbh. The easy@home is stark white.

I've got a FR digital so I'm thinking fuck it maybe I should just use that on the next wee run and confirm either way

I know it's early but is it possible to get the faintest of lines on a FRER and then a negative digital......?

I wanted to watch this thread I am also ttc baby #3 and I find the tww just agonising.

I came in yesterday when I was convinced it was going to be a bfp. It's first cycle trying but seeing these threads really helps me.

@WhatTheEll is the digital the same sensitivity as the FRER? Also, did the line show immediately on the FRER or after it'd been left? My vvvvvvvvfl on the easy@home was after it'd been left for a good few hours but I did another one later that day which showed within a few minutes. I've got everything crossed for you!!

It appeared immediately and it's been left and still there 😖
But I do think it's an evap. FRER seem difficult to get hold of so I don't have anymore. I'll probably just keep going with the easy@home just to double check.

I couldn't find the sensitivity on the instructions. It was a box of three - FRER, digital and Rapid. The FRER and digital both said test 5 days before period so I'm assuming they're the same

@WhatTheEll I totally get you. I would rather just know so you can reframe for the next cycle. My DS1 was February baby and DS2 April. So if I get pregnant this cycle now it'll be due June so that's the positivity I'm trying to focus on!

@WhatTheEll it is definitely possible! FRER is the most sensitive afaik, with digitals generally less sensitive. 9dpo is super early.

If you can bear it I’d wait until the day after tomorrow and test with FMU on a FRER. Leave the digital til after you’ve missed your period!

If you can't get a FRER, you could try to get a boots early detection one? They are similar to FRER & pink dye

I'll share a pic of my vvvvvfl I got on easy@home. I don't think it's even visible in the photo but was a squinter to the naked eye. The next day it was much easier to see

Also, on birthdays and planning... both my DDs are June 🫣 My sister and I are also
June! And all going well with this pregnancy, this baby will be May... which makes a nice change 😅

I have a March DS my OH is April if we get a BFP this month it would be a end of may baby as I would need a c section and I’m July and my other DS is August… but I mean it is what it is.. we can all try to plan but ttc isn’t something you plan 🤦‍♀️

How is everyone doing? I’m DP0 6 today and have no symptoms don’t think it’s our month tbh but we will see.. DH is saying he isn’t sure we should keep trying if it doesn’t happen this month 🥹

CD 2 at the moment. Thinking I'll ovulate on September 25th so just the wait now. Thinking I'll do a boozy brunch this weekend to have something to look forward too lol
