Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

Thanks everyone for replying to my rant! DH is back tomorrow. His work trip has gone really well so I’m hoping he returns in a better mood and maybe that some of the problem last week was that he was stressed about it 🤞🏻. I’m cd9 today (ovulated cd16 last month) and noticed some EWCM today which seems kind of early?! (Though @MacNut didn’t you have lots early on this cycle??)

And welcome @Bey! I don’t think you’re crazy at all - makes complete sense and would be lovely for your DC2 to have a close in age sibling. Good luck!

So DH is coming back on Sunday. Sadly, his grandmother passed away yesterday
Finally her suffering came to an end. I've been crying my eyes out since as we all loved her so much 😭😭😭

So when we get back together, being as my fertile window is about to end, as my nipples have started to get really sensitive, meaning I've ovulated, we'll resume TTC on the next cycle.

I can barely wait for my well deserved hols in about 2 weeks time, after more than 2 weeks alone with the 2 kiddos.... With AF either showing up in the beggining of the hols or right in the middle 😖

I’m joining you on the next cycle as I’m 11dpo and no hint of a line. I’m not sure there’s much point is trying until I can get this polyp removed but I’ll give it a go anyway!

Yes! I had EWCM on day 8. Ended up ovulating on CD12. Get busy! Good luck 🙌

@Bey Welcome! Similar boat RE I'm on first cycle back PP, after breastfeeding for a year. So DC2 is 1! I'm 37 and husband is 38 so if you're crazy, so are we all 😬♥️ good luck!

3DPO and thinking I might test next week. Not feeling hopeful as CM was all over the shop, DTD sporadically and at odd times and first cycle PP - so everything just feels a bit up in the air.

CD14 here, EWCM is crackers but low OPKs so on track for normal ov whichis much later. DH away next weekend so should time just ok before he's out the picture

Has anyone had readings like this? I'm so confused . It has changed and removed the peak now and marked it as high. I had nearly 24 hours between tests on tue/Wed so unsure if I've messed it up. Haa anyone had similar readings or know how to interpret this ?

Just looked at your graph and YES YOU HAVE 😉😉 you've definitely covered all bases. Maybe you had a really quick surge/peak. But keep testing anyway.

I had one month TTC #2 where I peaked twice in a cycle 🤯

@WhatTheEll just confused as the graph looks like it's going straight and from what I've seen normally it shoots down after peak?

I personally don't think you've had the peak yet because I thought it had to be over 1.0? So maybe that's why? Although what kind of numbers do you normally get? X

@WhatTheEll this is first month tracking so I'm unsure. Numbers have normally been around 0.40's I've seen people can have higher or lower numbers . Really unsure . I'll.test tonight again and tomorrow. Just confused why it has went side ways on the graph as I assumed it would be either going up or down! So confusing.

I’ve got a question… we are waiting until I have 2 months of folic acid before we TTC. This means we will be TTC at the start of November. I’m very aware that I’m 35 (turned 35 in July) & that maybe I shouldn’t delay. What do you all think?

I'd personally carry on! I turned 37 in July (happy belated!) and feel like every cycle counts x

@happytobemrsg I'd go for it now! Might take a while or might happen fast, nothings guaranteed and I was sick all through my first pregnancy, doubt I retained any folic acid haha! I'd say go for it !

@WhatTheEll u were right! Tested there when I got home from work and I'm at 1.31 now and line is way dark! Crazy hormones would be so so easy to miss literally 6 .5 hours between tests

Amazing! Glad you caught it. As soon as you see a slight increase test like crazy! You've definitely done all the sex but at least now you'll know when you ovulated 😬
