Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

@Clettercletterthatsbetter I'm sorry, that's so hard 😞 once you've both got your head around it more it might be worth having a good conversation with DH about how much you want to have a 3rd. His reaction might've been knee jerk and he just needs a bit more time to process it and think about the options. Big hugs for now though 💐

so sorry - that’s rubbish. Do you have any idea of the cost of private treatment? I think it’s definitely worth finding out and discussing it with your DH before making any assumptions or decisions.

@Tessa83 I conceived once accidentally after dtd 5-6! days before ovulation. Ended in mc but just goes to show it’s totally possible!

my lines seem to be progressing now - i think it’s because i was using cheapies to test progression and their dye is rubbish, i’ve since tried about 5 different tests 😅 and they’re much darker than the cheapies!!

Haha! I've got a 6.5 year old and a just turned 1 year old today! So not far of you for trying for a 3rd 😬

CD 18 and still no positive OPK. I'm mega confused. But maybe I missed it. I've had on and off twinges. We DTD CD9 and CD14 (not a lot this month as I've got a chest infection 🙃) so who knows.... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yay @satellitesunshine congratulations! Those are definites 🤗How exciting. The gap between my first two is under 18 months, it's a lovely gap I think. I tried for the same this time but took a lot longer this time around.

Im 5dpo, not really any signs. I know i’m really clutching at straws though. Having had sex only once and out of my fertile window…..so know it’s very unlikely for me. Just kind of holding on because I know if i’m not we will go back to waiting and not sure when it will happen.

I've made it to 9dpo and I haven't tested!!! I want to get to 12dpo but we will see!!

I’ve been feeling really sad we didn’t start trying like a year ago so we could have a <3 year gap, and worrying that the gap now will be too big. But I can’t go back in time! Will be putting maximum effort in this month. Only CD5 so still a while to wait.

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow Mine are 3.5 years apart, just worked out this way, and it’s amazing. Honestly, each gap has its benefits and challenges. Good luck, don’t let that upset you!

I have no symptoms other than my nipples are very uncomfortable. This is not a normal symptom of AF for me. But my negativity says it could easily be higher levels of progesterone before AF due to my taking pregnacare conception this month for the first time.

I’m not due to test until next Tuesday/Wednesday though, given my scan results, I might not bother wasting a test and just wait for AF to show up!

@Clettercletterthatsbetter oh I'm sorry, so hard but definitely do what you think is better for you. There are always exceptions and you never know. I was originally told I have a hydrosalpinx and issue with my tubes, but actually after more scans and an MRI the thing they found is outside the uterus and shouldn't impact fertility, recommend I have it removed but I haven't as I wanted to focus on TTC and I'm currently pregnant.

@Maybebaby54321 those are interesting symptoms and sounds a bit unusual for you, could be good signs. Keeping everything crossed

I'm 6dpo today. I'm planning to test on Wednesday which is probably too early still but hey ho. I had weird cramps in bed last night, very like AF cramps. I don't think I get that so early usually but I possibly just don't usually take as much notice 🧐

@MacNut Im 6dpo today aswell! Not sure when I will test yet. Think I will go on symptoms as I get closer. I will really suprised if I am though, as I only had sex once on D9.

Had a few symptoms, but think it’s all in my mind. I know that with my other pregnancies I had some serious cramping before, which now looking back, I think was implantation. Think I’m just going to wait and see if I get any other kinds of symptoms. Problem is they are always so similar to PMS, so can never really tell.

Finally!!! At CD20 🫣 has anyone ovulated this late?? I'm used to ovulated around CD14 and having a 26/27 day cycle. This being my first cycle back PP, I'm wondering if it's all changed or just all over the place.....

I'm confused I'm cd 14 starting to get ewcm today and cervix is High but chart is going down and tests going lighter without having a peak. Think I'm broke or doing something wrong 😫

Uploaded wrong picture but yesterday reading was 0.63 and today 0.31!

Well done @Maybebaby54321 I think 11dpo is a happy medium but praise to you if you manage until 12dpo 🙌🏼

@WhatTheEll I ovulate between CD18-23 but short luteal phase and have conceived 4 times

@AnaReis that's rubbish , when is DH back? CD10 here too, so much EWCM but this is early for me so probably just a false alarm and low OPK this morning

@HappyValleyFan1 oh thank you! That's a relief! Had loads of EWCM early on too and now my peak is incoming it's kind of at bay.

@Scotmum256 keep testing! As per other comment, looks like I'm ovulating CD21 and I used to be CD14 x
