BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@CatiaR hopefully it is! It can be a bit knackering all this BDing 😂 I had to very much convince my DH on ov day! You're on CD17 looking at your app so you must be nearly there surely 😂 body signals should always come first I think, that's what I learnt the hard way the first 2 cycles 😂

@Huriya I hope the UTI clears up quickly! And fingers crossed some of those pains are due to a little eggie making itself at home 👀

@pinkmarshmalloww worst that can happen if you assume it's today like the app says is that you're a day further along than you think when it comes to testing! Fingers crossed for you, TWW officially from tomorrow then! 😁

@thejollytrolleydolly love that you're testing already 😂 though the pains could be implantation? That would be potentially starting today for you so fingers crossed! Only time will tell 😁 look forward to seeing some test pics in the coming days from you 😂

@MorningsideMaisie ahhhh welcome to the TWW! I'm trying to do the same and not look too much into stuff yet! I will be 7dpo on Friday and I'm off Friday - Sunday so hopefully I can manifest some good vibes and pay close attention to my body to see if anything feels weird 😂

@Huriya @thejollytrolleydolly Id love to POAS earlier but DH wants to be with me when we find out which is fair enough and he probably wouldn't entertain this testing early stuff 😂 if I feel weird I might try and convince him on Sunday, otherwise I'll wait and see until the following Friday!

No major symptoms here still. Trying to ignore it all until 6dpo which is Thursday! Then my weekend I can just pay attention and see if there's any funky symptoms starting up!

@Hotmalibu94 Hopefully, LH levels have gone down again from my highest of 0.70 ish so if I was to assume that was my peak then today is O-day.

A bit confused all around but that's why I'm testing to see what the heck is going on but not helping with my confusion there 😄

BBT has been the most stable out of everything really, not expecting this month to be successful but I feel like I've covered all my bases, might try and continue every other day for a bit longer but definitely had to convince DH to do yesterday night and this morning so can't keep nagging him 😅

Hopefully we will see you ladies ahead BFPs coming in the next weeks! sending baby dust to all 🌟

@Hotmalibu94 yeah I'm hoping it's over now and O day is today. Will keep testing though make sure it doesn't do anything else. I can feel pain on my left side (tubeless) side so feeling a little disheartened 🥺

@CatiaR maybe if EWCM stops then you just need to assume it's happened and you've covered your bases 🤷🏼‍♀️ very odd though! Hopefully you can convince him to keep up for a few days 😂 my DH hasn't gone near me since Ov 😂😂😂😂

@Hotmalibu94 haven't really noticed any today so far, it is odd but hopefully nothing actually wrong I have nothing to compare it to so if this month is not successful we shall see what next month looks like but fingers crossed 😄

@CatiaR sounds like maybe it's happened then! We shall have to wait and see!

@Hotmalibu94 yup! unless my tests say otherwise I will assume that tomorrow is 1DPO 😄

@CatiaR these tests can only do so much. Definitely listen to your body because EWCM should give you a more accurate picture of where you are, and just keep testing just incase.

@Hotmalibu94 @thejollytrolleydolly @Huriya @pinkmarshmalloww looks like I'll be joining you on the TWW later rather than sooner. My initial predicted ovulation was meant to be yesterday, but the app has moved that to Thursday now. My OPK this morning shows a small rise since yesterday, and the app has readjusted to show my peak as tomorrow. I'll test again around 5pm-ish and see hows things are looking.

I'm enjoying reading about how you'll are getting on in the TWW, and looking forward to seeing your bfp's soon!

@Myna13 Indeed, I have kept testing and will do another in about 1h but it has gone down since yesterday and I have not noticed anymore ewcm but this month is to understand what is going on and so far I have no clue with opks, although BBT seems more stable so hopefully I will be able to pinpoint if I have ovulated from there, going to assume that tomorrow is 1DPO as predicted unless I get another test that says otherwise! 😄

@CatiaR definitely makes sense to assume you're at 1DPO tomorrow. Fingers crossed you get your BFP this month! And if not, you will at least have some data to look at next month.

I’m enjoying reading all of your stories of BBT and TWW.
My DH hasn’t got sick of BD just yet; he said this morning “while we don’t know what’s happening we need to just go for it at least every other day”
To his surprise I had to say no this morning after a heavy leg day at the gym yesterday I had serious DOMs…. Had a magnesium bath to loosen them off before he gets home from work.
Ovusense seems to be tracking okay up to now and it’s not uncomfortable to wear which is a positive. I’m pleased I don’t have to remember to take my temp before doing anything in the mornings.

4dpo and officially feel like I've been hit by a truck. Awful bad back but I think that's over-exertion at work.
Irritable and exhausted.

@Hotmalibu94 sounds like you need a good sleep! I had a nap after work honestly feel so much better. Have u had any lightening crotch feeling?
Whens everyones periods due? Mines next Thursday/Friday.

I've had more sore tatties today along with sharp pains behind my belly button and right at the bottom of my tummy in the middle other than that I feel pretty decent. Completely different to last month!

@Huriya @thejollytrolleydolly deffo need a sleep but I work long days so I don't get home until after 7:30 most nights and then it's dinner, shower, bed 😁 so currently in the dinner stage of my evening 😂

No lightning crotch, a few tummy twinges today, maybe a bit crampy. But nothing dramatic. Only 4dpo so I'm not getting too concerned yet.

@Hotmalibu94 I literally have no idea.
CD50 now, still no AF. It’s driving me crazy. I going to do a HPT tomorrow morning, not because I have any symptoms but simply to rule it out.
I have a GP appointment next Wednesday, hoping they will give me some metformin to help regulate my cycles with the PCOS

I've been rubbish at bbt this month. Had a rubbish cold last week so didn't bother as my temps will just be all over the place, then I realised the battery on my thermometer had run out so I ordered one, then realised it was wrong and now I finally have it but I just got a peak OPK so it's probably too late to see a rise. I'll still do temps as it's probably give me an idea whether to bother testing.

Strangely I haven't had any ovulation pains yet, they usually start the minute I get a peak.
Maybe having my cysts removed made a difference, or maybe the ovary that had them has started working again (I had much less pain from that side before I stopped ovulating from that side).

I also found out today that my cysts weren't endometriomas but functional cysts which just leaves me with so many questions and I don't have a date for my follow up appt yet. Functional cysts are meant to be small and only last a few months. The biggest of mine was 10cm and it's been there at least 2 years.

@Throwawy if you had a peak yesterday you should ovulate today and then get a temperature rise tomorrow, so if you manage to get a temp today then you might see a single low temp and then it going high. Might not be enough data for apps to pick it up but you will know that way.
No advice about the cysts but I hope you get a follow up and some information soon!
