BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@Hotmalibu94 yeah I reckon todays ovulation day, I'll test soon and hopefully it's all come down giving the peak reading x

I did have a significant bip in my BBT this morning so holding on to test at midday and see how its looking.

I was losing hope as well as I normally peak CD13 but for the last 2 months it seems delayed by a few days x

@pinkmarshmalloww ahhhh exciting! Looks like you'll ovulate tomorrow then?

@CatiaR apparently a temp dip the day before ovulation is a thing! So maybe this is you getting ready to ovulate tomorrow!

@pinkmarshmalloww thats probably going to be me testing at 7DPO 🙈 going to try my best to wait till Sunday when il be 10 DPO though

My bbt jumped up again a bit today - think my cycle is just having a laugh at this point! I might have (finally) stopped bleeding though, so there's a positive! I had a super faint hcg test yesterday with fmu, so I'm going to do another on Wednesday and hopefully that will be negative

@Hotmalibu94 glad the app confirmed O day! I hate that little clock symbol 😅

@Lollywhite sorry to hear about your MC. Is this your first cycle or have you had a period since? I'm in a similar place (found out I'd had a MMC at the 12 week scan measuring 8+5) and had surgical management 11 days ago so trying to work out what's going on with my cycle!

@pinkmarshmalloww yeah its frustrating isn't it? but seems like you are getting ready to ovulate now and you going to join me and @Myna13 if ours go to plan 😄

@Hotmalibu94 I did see that was a thing so hopefully that's what's happening but we shall see very soon! Definitely BD on the cards for today and tomorrow if its confirmed!

@Huriya I caved last month and did from like 8dpo which was way too early and it wasn't till afterwards that I realised my tracking was all off so wasted a lot of cheapies and too much unnecessary disappointment!

@CatiaR I hope todays the day. What time will you test?

@Huriya I have it firmly in my head no testing and then one day I'll wake up and it'll just bug me and I get this sudden urge 😅

@Hotmalibu94 yeah I'll go with tomorrow. Hopefully it's not a drawn out peak. Normally I peak and it drops within a day so this is also new for me along with a longer cycle and having consistent dark OPKs 😅

Now I just need to pray I ovulate from my right side! Or at least if it's left sided my right Fallopian tube moves to grab the eggy 🙏

I always test super early as well 🙈 I find that even the internet cheapies give lines at 9dpo (although with most of my actual pregnancies I haven't tested until later for one reason or another lol)

@pinkmarshmalloww aiming for 12 midday but I already need to pee quite a bit so might have to go a bit earlier.

Thank you @Hotmalibu94 @Huriya ❤️ I’m kind of in the mind frame as everything happens for a reason and obviously it wasn’t meant to be. It just hurts when I think of how long it’s took. Trying my best to remain positive!

@Ncl31 oh u will have to let me how you get on with it! I’ve got the vaginal Ovusense, I swear by it as like I say I fell in the first month using it after having previously hammered the OPKs! I definitely find it less stressful!

@ginny93 hey! Sorry to hear you’ve experienced this too.. big hugs! Yeah I’ve just had my first periods since MC, we did try last month and I think I ovulated around a week after a completely negative hcg test..

@Lollywhite ive used it the last 2 nights… not sure it’s that accurate at the moment as I’m sleeping with the fan on because it’s so hot in the room and my arm gets cold. Although Saturday night was 35.53 and last night 35.6. I tried to keep my arm under the duvet as much as I could last night.
I like the idea that if the skin sensor doesn’t detect ovulation in 3 months then they send you the vaginal sensor for free.

I was awake during the night with what I was convinced to be AF cramps - but nothing this morning. CD46 for me today :(

Morning from 5dpo! I don't really feel anything but achy today 😂 went to another festival yesterday and did loooooads of dancing so I'm feeling it today! Other than that nothing else! Pretty chill 😊 I am a serial early tester so I'll probably start at 7dpo even though I said I would wait until 10 😂 I hope you all have a lovely week and I'm looking forward to hearing your symptoms!! @CatiaR I also have been struggling to hold my wee for the last hour, so I've just done a test. I know it's still early in the day, but it's the highest reading I've got yet. It's not a surge by any means, and is still low. But the others were lower. I'm going to have a few sips of water now, and test again in 3 hrs, and then again in the evening. CM says ovulation is around the corner so that seems to be adding up.

@Huriya a few of us were super early testers last month 😂Including me. I got a false positive on a clearblue at 8DPO and it made me super sad. So this time I'm going to enjoy doing my OPKs until I've hit my peak and then try not to poas until AF is due.

@pinkmarshmalloww that test looks super strong! Mine was a little lighter than that this morning. Might be worth putting pictures into the premom app so they can quantify & chart it for you.

@Lollywhite I'm sorry to hear about your MC. Hoping you have a healthy baby in your arms soon!

@thejollytrolleydolly can't believe you're already at 5dpo! Only a few more days until you can start testing! Hoping for a lovely BFP for you this month

@Huriya oh no! :( I do hope those symptoms do mean something though. It will make the discomfort worth it. Lemon and ginger is meant to be really good for acidity if you've got some lying around the house.

Still testing low! Not sure what’s happening but will check back again later in the afternoon.

@Myna13 my app has readjusted to say I'm ovulating tomorrow instead of today. But as I thought I had a peak yesterday I BD twice! 😅 now I've got to BD a bit more than expected. I was hoping to get a break tomorrow night being 1DPO but since O day is now tomorrow I'll be at it again as well as tonight 🥲 my poor fuff 🥹😅
I know they say every other day is fine but I want as much chance as possible 😆
