BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

Managed to BD last night and during that DH asked if I was ovulating (normally don't tell him, he wanted things to be much more casual) and he was quite excited about it 😂 and now knows that I'll be asking for BD today 😂

it will be interesting to see how everyone gets on, a few more days and the rest of us will join 😊

fertile week started yesterday for me and we got some BD in, will keep every other day until I ovulate unless it decides to happen earlier 😂

temps are fairly stable what prompted yesterday’s rise was definitely how hot the weather became all of a sudden!

monitoring opks a few times a day to make sure I don’t miss my surge as its looking like it may be a sharp increase rather than gradual at this point

@Hotmalibu94 I had to ask my DH for it yesterday although we managed to do it, it didnt feel natural but tbh we have done it 4 times in 5 days so yesterday we were both pretty exhausted.
At least he knows what youre expecting now, its Friday and with weekend coming up hopefully you get a few sessions in 🙃.

@CatiaR hope you get your peak soon! It's so exciting we're all so close together!

@Huriya haha well we are out for dinner tonight with some friends and Im thinking I will wear the dress from last week and hopefully it'll be in the bag 😂

@Hotmalibu94 no peak yesterday 🥺 CD14 now and I've just taken one this morning to see how it looks, it's just loading 😅 managed to BD last night but that'll be it until Sunday 😩 so I'm hoping todays the day x

I'm ok, been filling my time with happy things 😊 I had a few friends round yesterday with their kids to play on the garden which was lovely and then went with one of my friends for some nibbles at our local pub. Hopefully the good vibes encourage my little eggy to make itself a home!

I am so bloated today again dd put her hand on my tummy today and said "oh mummy you have a full tummy" 😂😂 thanks hun 🤦🏽‍♀️ hopefully it will be full of baby soon haha xx

I'm also really confused at the moment because I scan these tests about 5 times in the same place and all give me diff numbers. This number came up the most so I'm going with that even youth last nights test looks the same and have a lower reading ☠️ I'm not getting my hopes up because my lines always look dark then let me down with testing later on 😅

@thejollytrolleydolly awhh bless her. Kids are hilarious. I was at my friends yesterday and her son proceeded to ask me where the baby was and that I was pregnant 😅 pretty sure it was because of my mum pouch but I can at least pretend it was a sign right? 🤣🤣🤣 x

I've just done another OPK, much earlier than intended 😂 I wanted to hold on until 11am but I was desperate for a wee 😂 hopefully ok as it's not FMU! Anyway it's much fainter again today so I think my peak has been and gone, so that should mean ovulation today if my peak was yesterday? Is that right?

Good luck for ov day everyone! I think I definitely could have done more this month but I've been so tired at night on earlies that I cba most of the time 🙈 I'll be surprised if I catch this month but it will be a lovely surprise if I do! It was interesting doing opk's though and seeing when I actually ovulate 😊 I do love pos as well 😂 x

@Hotmalibu94 so I ovulated on cd15 and dtd 10,12,13 and 14 but didn't manage to do it on ovulation day but I'm hoping that's enough!!

I’m wondering when my peak will show as its still fairly low 🤔

opk this morning was lower than yesterday a little but I’m gonna test again later

My OPK has gone back fainter again after this morning darker test. I'm starting to get very impatient now 😅😅 #CD14

@thejollytrolleydolly it seems like youve done pretty well. Remember Sperm can live between 3-5days. How many DPO are you now?

@pinkmarshmalloww That OPK looks very promising, have you managed to retest? You may have a peak by later on this afternoon if you havent already x

@CatiaR try testing around 4pm/5pm ish. Ive had that happen to me at the start of the fertile days.
