Thanks so much @worldwidetravel2017 @VixFromThe6ix @Cressie2 and @SnookyPook Your messages really meant a lot and helped. It’s just so nice to be able to speak to people who understand what you’re going through. I met up with my best friend last night and had a couple of cocktails, and been trying to think positively today although still feeling really sad. Trying to tell myself the right thing will happen at the right time. Last time we were trying we had 2 chemicals and it’s difficult to phrase right as while I’m definitely not glad they happened as I know I would have loved those babies, in hindsight I can’t feel completely sad as I wouldn’t have had my boy if those pregnancies had lasted and I just absolutely adore him!! Also at least it shows things are hopefully working properly and I can get pregnant.

So sorry to hear you think you might be having chemicals also @SnookyPook and @worldwidetravel2017! I really hope not! Sending virtual hugs and hope all turns out to be ok x

SnookyPook · 11/09/2023 06:45

@Mrsspoon3 thank you - unfortunately I am joining you on the short-lived excitement train... CB weeks indicator which should have been 2-3 by now has come up with Not Pregnant which is pretty conclusive!! No bleeding yet but at least I know it's coming. Just hope it doesn't take too long now. I know what you mean about your son. I'm sure whenever my rainbow does come along, it will make absolute sense why I had to wait for them.

This has hit me far less hard than my MMC in April. I guess I'd had less time to feel hopeful etc. It almost feels more surreal than anything. I'm still trying to home in on the positives that we've got pregnant twice in the space of 8 months, and less on the mad panic about egg quality etc 😬🙃

The right one will come at the right time.💕🌈

Twdfn123 · 11/09/2023 08:21

Hi all, can anyone tell me if these tests look okay for line progressions? I'm so paranoid after a previous miscarriage and a chemical last month. Sorry if I seem silly I'm just over analysing I think. I'm still not due my period for 2 days.

(-4 is 4 days until period and so on)

Thanks all xxx

SnookyPook · 11/09/2023 08:31

@Twdfn123 they look like great lines for pre-AF. The ones I've had at 14-18dpo were all fainter than those. Completely get you feeling paranoid but everything crossed for you that this one sticks! I would say it's looking good. Also, you've given me a bit of hope this morning as I deal with a chemical after my MMC in April .. hoping I will follow suit and get pregnant again very quickly! Sending you love and calm as you navigate these early days 💕🌈

Twdfn123 · 11/09/2023 08:33

@SnookyPook thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Good luck to you I really hope you catch quickly ! It's such a roller coaster this TTC journey! Xxx

Rebeccaemily93 · 11/09/2023 08:43

I’m due on my period tomorrow, I did early clearblue tests over the weekend and got these - are they evap lines or positives? I’ve read everything and my brain is now fried! Please help 🤣🤣

im ok thank you, taking a break from OPKs this month to try and take some pressure off so we will see how it goes 🤞🏻xxx

Mrsspoon3 · 11/09/2023 13:41

So sorry to hear your updates @SnookyPook and @worldwidetravel2017, chemical pregnancies (and any pregnancy loss) are so so hard. I hope you’re both doing ok x

Thanks @H0pefull x

I’d say they look good @Twdfn123! I know how hard it is not to worry, but those are good lines when you haven’t missed period yet.

@Rebeccaemily93 It’s really hard to say, sorry - I’d try a different test if you can, maybe one with pink dye? There’s definite blue obviously but with them not being thick lines it would be worth testing again. Hope it’s positive!! 🙏

That sounds lovely. A partner who makes you smile is so so so important 💞 chocolates and comfort food also helps 😊

@H0pefull @Mrsspoon3 thank you 💕

@worldwidetravel2017 I never got as far as seeing anyone about the pregnancy so no bloods. I'd only be 4+5. Tests have turned negative and I feel like bleeding is on the way. So sorry a few of us are going through this together.

In a weird way I just feel relieved that my body has recognised a non-viable pregnancy before it went as far as a mmc again. It's sad but I'm glad I hadn't had more time to build up hope etc. This way it's more like a late period and dealing with that monthly 'gargh, not this time' except obviously came a bit closer.

worldwidetravel2017 · 11/09/2023 14:43

Depending on where you are in your journey / if youve had ivf / how many miscarriages/ chemical pregnancies - it might be helpful to have it on your medical records - maybe - incase you want to ask 4 progesterone or x y z next time though... as a trail..

A friend of mines on her 4th or so ivf - & drs would only give her progesterone after so many chemical pregnancies/ miscarriage

SnookyPook · 11/09/2023 14:57

@worldwidetravel2017 yes thank you for your thoughtfulness. I did ring my midwife base this morning and the women's health unit who dealt with my MMC in April. The WHU was actually a bit disappointing and unhelpful and basically told me if I hadn't tested early (day of my missed period!) I would probably never have known about it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I then said well obviously after my MMC I was on high alert and is there anything I need to do to let anyone know etc as it's a repeat loss. She basically said no and again reiterated it was so early most people wouldn't know (she clearly doesn't frequent MN conception boards!!)

Anyway, that threw me a bit but your comment has prompted me to just ring my GP and ask for it to be noted on my record at least. I wouldn't qualify for NHS IVF etc as we have one naturally conceived child and then I just had the MMC earlier this year and now this.. so hopefully I've just been a bit unlucky as I know we have it in us to be genetically compatible and to carry healthily to term... just slightly older eggs I guess (I'm 37). 🤷🏼‍♀️

FigandHoney · 11/09/2023 14:57

First off congratulations @Twdfn123. Wishing you a sticky bean and smooth uneventful pregnancy. To me your lines look like a lovely progression. I wish they did blood HCG test in the UK like they do in America. It would be so re-assuring.
@Cressie2 how long have you been trying for n2? Did n1 happen pretty quickly for you? Hope you get a BFP soon
@Mrsspoon3 @SnookyPook @worldwidetravel2017 I am so sorry about the chemical / potential chemical. Every loss is painful. And it's completely normal to feel devastated. Take care of yourself and I hope you are surrounded by support. I agree with getting these on a report if you can, just in case you want to push for more help at a later stage.
@CurlyWurly1991 Thank you. It's good to hear I am not the only one with a lower libido. My husbands libido is through the roof and he is excited about us BD more now that we are TTC.
Our son is 3 years old.
Unfortunately with work and our son waking up before us, it's difficult to get BDing in the morning.
I did read In the Flo actually and The hormone repair manual, last time we TTC. Might be worth another read. Thinking of ordering some vitamins. VitD, Coq10, DHEA, Folate.
@Optimist1981 Your food subscription service sounds interesting. What is it called? I have a very sensitive digestive system.
@EvelynKatie I also had my fertile days, slap bang in the heatwave.
@Bumblebee413 I hope the laid back approach gets you your BFP. It did work for us last time.
@MrsBP15 Hopefully your blood test will provide you with some answers / comfort. It only takes one well timed sperm. So you are in the running. I think a holiday is always a good idea
@Rebeccaemily93 They are looking a little bit odd. But that doesn't mean they aren't a BFP. I think evaps normally have no colour. I would also say try with a pink line. First response or so

FigandHoney · 11/09/2023 15:02

@SnookyPook just saw your latest update. I am so sorry. Sometimes people in the health system have really bad bed side manners. I am glad you pushed for yourself though
