So I wee'd again at around noon and saw the same kind of light line but then I couldn't see it anymore. So now I'm thinking maybe faulty batch. I'll try again in the evening 🤔

@BB2023 @MrsBP15 thanks ladies. I need all the positive vibes right now. I always test early cause I find peeing on sticks and waiting for results fun. (Am I crazy?) But today I kind of regret it because now I'm in this limbo and potentially setting myself and my hubby for disappointment.

Can anything else make the test have a light positive? I'm taking progesterone right now.

@VixFromThe6ix my understanding with the link due tests is they only react to HCG and nothing else, I had heard they don’t really “do” evap lines like blue tests either but I don’t know how true this is. I suppose the 2nd test you’ve taken could have been affected by lots of things - time of day, what you’ve drunk etc. Its very hard to resist testing early, I understand, especially so if you’ve been through any form of fertility treatment too I imagine xx sending positivity and hugs x

Hi everyone; hoping it’s ok to join. Not officially TTC - we stopped trying in summer 2021 after a chemical and a worsening long term health condition. Got drunk this cycle and didn’t use protection, only once and not really tracking cycles so would be miraculous to conceive. I’d so love to have a third though.

have been quiet on here as just had my head down in TTC mode lol but currently 9DPO and got a negative this morning so we will see what tomorrow brings..🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks everyone, just tested and I don't see it. My eyes keep pretending there is something but when I turn it sideways I don't see anything. I'll try in the morning again and see what happens. I'm so so so worried this is a repeat of that CP cycle I had a couple years ago. I had on and off positives for several days till it just stopped. It was such a mind fk. Also, 6dpo sounds insanely early so my mind is just going a little crazy today. Sorry for my excessive posts today ...

@VixFromThe6ix 😞 Oh I’m sorry, that’s so disappointing and stressful too. 6dpo was very early as you say but I shall continue to cross fingers that you get a definite positive over the coming days xxx

Has anybody had a negative at 10 DPO but still had a BFP the same month? X

Hopefull- not here but only tested once when I did get my BFP first time, so I've no idea if it can or can't happen.
4dpo here. Feels more and more unlikely to happen each cycle. It is hard isn't it

Tested twice and I don't see the line. How weird, because I saw the line yesterday on two out of three tests. What a mind fk. I guess maybe this is why you shouldn't test this early lol
@Pineappleapple I feel the same...each passing cycle makes it feel less and less likely.

@H0pefull not me because I always test early and I see it by 8-9dpo, but I have read soooo many accounts of others who got their positive even after 12dpo. Till your period comes, you shouldn't count yourself out yet

It is.... TTC is so mentally draining. I get hopefully every new cycle but TWW proves to be quite emotional generally. Glad there is this support group.

Yes. I tested negative at 9dpo, 11dpo, 12dpo and 13dpo.

Hello, I'd love to join here. I'm 42 ttc #1 and currently dpo 1 on 4th month of trying. Been trying something different each month this month dtd up to twice a day in FW. Previously tried SMEP, conceive plus lube, fertilily cup and being tipsy!!! Use OPKs last 3 cycles. Love hearing about what worked for people and how to deal with slowly getting more obsessed and disappointed. Kind of lucky as partner has a child so I know he is probably fertile and I sadly had a termination at 26 at 3 mths (partner abandoned me) so I know I could get pregnant at one stage. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and fingers crossed to everyone xx

I really have no suggestions as it sounds like you're doing what you need to be already - tracking ovulation and DTD on days that matter.
Have you had any tests done for yourself to check if everything is ok? I had a couple MCs before my son which I birthed at 38. Now that we are trying again first thing I did was run tests to make sure I'm even producing follicles lol
We also just started IUI because of an issue we discovered with my husband after we did tests for him as well.
I think it helps to know where you both are, especially because every cycle counts at our age

I've not thought about testing because we've agreed that if it doesn't happen for us we're not going to proceed with any intervention and will just accept what we do have and be grateful. However, you've raised a very good point, there may be some non-invasive things we could do to improve our chances if we know about certain issues. Food for thought - thanks so much!

@Optimist1981 and obsession and disappointment are a real part of this.... Some ladies here don't test till later or wait for their periods to come, which kind of eliminates some of this obsession. But some that are like me and test obsessively, are met with disappointment while still holding out hope that maybe next day there will be a BFP. It's mentally exhausting at times.
Yesterday I tested at 6dpo becaus night before I saw a dream that I had a positive pregnancy test. So I go to test and see a super light line. Of course I'm ecstatic but also wondering how is it possible at 6dpo since that's so early. I test again at noon, same squinter line. I'm getting excited, cautiously. Test again at night, negative. Tested today now two times, all negative.
If I was patient and waited, I wouldn't have had this rollercoaster of a day yesterday.... But the need to pee on that stick is real!!! 🤣
