4DPO yet again, are you with me?

Today's 4DPO. This is second TWW after a miscarriage and that was the first time I was pregnant :(

First TWW after the miscarriage was very hard and very emotional for me, i was symptom spotting every little thing. This time around I feel calmer but its still 4DPO and my brain knows its too early for HcG to be there but not sure how I will be from 10DPO onwards.

Who else here is going through the TWW and how are you coping?

That’s so interesting @Laylattc no advice sorry, do you usually keep testing after peak to see if it stays down?

I have heard you can get a rise in LH if pregnant and also just before AF. I’ve never carried on testing.

Anyone in the TWW? 7DPO today still got tender boobs which usually disappear by 9DPO if AF is on its way.

@Laylattc from what I've read usually when there's a second surge, it's the second time that's ovulation but in your case the second one is less than 1.0. Did you test throughout the day between cd29-30? Do you think it could've gotten higher than 1.0 between those days?

I had a few highs (around 0.6-0.9) but then I got an extremely dark line at cd20 (2.1). I had other signs such as CM and smell (according to DH) that make it more apparent my ovulation was CD20. So did you have other signs around those surges? But I also agree with @Giles1008 that closer to af you may also get a mini surge of LH as the hormones are similar.

@TT82 I feel like my miscarriage has messed my cycles up too. Last cycle af was late and this cycle I ovulated super late and looks like it'll be a 35 day cycle.

@Giles1008 it’s strange, no this is the first time I’ve carried on testing normally just keep going for the 2 days after to confirm it’s back low but decide to keep going out of curiosity and now I’m either mad at myself for confusing myself or glad I checked so I haven’t missed it! I’m either 7dpo today so same as you or haven’t ovulated yet! Still going to start testing tomorrow do you usually wait till 10dpo?

@bunnynbear yes that’s what I’ve heard about the body trying again if it didn’t ovulate first time, but I only did the test as an after thought on the 29th as was curious (it’s cd20 but showing the date of the 29th so not too late to ovulate I guess?) but I did the test really late and that’s when it was the strongest so thinking if I had tested earlier in the day it may have been a peak?The 30th was in the morning so didn’t have chance to test inbetween but not sure why it then tried to go up again for the third time yesterday

I’ve only had my usually obvious cm one cycle since my miscarriage and seem to get what I would have thought were ovulation pains quite a bit so can’t all be ov related I think I just cramp a lot or I’m looking for it.
I just don’t know my body’s signs any more i too think I’m all over the place since the miscarriage. The second surge was 10 days before I’m due af so not sure if it would be af related and too early to be pregnancy related?

i thought maybe I hadn’t ovulated the first time but then never caught a peak in the surges after it just seems to be fluctuating so much I have no idea what’s going on. Could my body have tried and failed three times to ovulate or is there a chance I did ovulate the first time round and this is normal?!

so disappointed as we really “went for it” this month, SMEP, ovulation testing (lol), pre-seed and used the ferti lily for the first time. And it’s the month that would have been my baby’s due date and I really really thought I would be pregnant again by now so it’s so cruel if I haven’t even ovulated

@Laylattc I really feel your frustration the TTC journey can be so cruel and complicated. Hopefully you ovulated first time and that was just a blip 🤞🏻. Are your cycles usually long?

I usually cave around 8DPO but I’m feeling quite nervous about a BFN this time as it’ll be our last month trying for a while. So I’m going to wait until Thursday or Friday. I have some FRER that I ordered last cycle that I didn’t need.

I have had a few niggles today like period pain but it’s a week until AF is due. I know it’s all in my head, I may not have even implanted yet if I could be pregnant so just need to stay positive 🤞🏻. Last month about 4 days before AF I started to get period pain and the sensitivity in my boobs had disappeared, so whilst that is still there I know progesterone must still be high and I have a chance!

Yay finally my bbt is up this morning! After so much cramps and pain yesterday. So looks like ovulation was this night or yesterday evening 🤞🏻

Also had a dr appointment today re genetic testing abd ivf planning. She agreed that after last cp quality is an issue, so she supports back-to-back collection till at least 4 embryos and then while we wait for the results (6-8 weeks! 😱) she suggests we continue another cycle of eggs collection.. but all will be tailored personally depending how I react. My hormones are very good she said (AMH 17 - ?? 🤷🏻‍♀️) so it is a waiting game to get a good one. She was very positive but said 1-2 good FET is a good outcome
Looks like I had ovulation this night...so maybe I will have my surprise this cycle 🤞🏻

@Giles1008 cycles usually 30 days, currently on cd25 and since I’ve been ov testing my luteal phase has only been 11 days which would make period due Saturday but both apps Flo and premom putting af on Monday. Oh I really hope you get your BFP this month then!!!

I’m 8DPO but didn’t test, I have some light period pains though 😩 pretty sure I’m out.

I have a full 14 day luteal phase sometimes even 16 days, so AF isn’t due until next week. @Laylattc BFN this month will leave me so deflated 🥺

Colleague at work just announced she’s pregnant, feel so sad about it. I’m 8DPO and can feel AF on the way 😩

I know she’s only been TTC one month, obviously I’m delighted for her but now I’ve got the next 5 months when we’ve decided to stop trying - urgh just waiting and being reminded every day. Sorry just ranting.

But don't get upset for this cycle in advance! Period pain with such a long luteal time is strange...so really high chance it is not AF coming! 🤞🏻

I have my DH cousin with a baby staying with us for a month and mil, fil... Baby very cute... just all this psychologically very difficult

I'm back again this month (I've name changed though 😂) 5 dpo, I started Q10 supplements too. Breasts felt sensitive around ovulation, which I do t usually get. I've got mild cramps today. We didn't dtd very much in the peak time due to being out of the country for work.

@TT82 thats so tough! How long have you been TTC, don’t babies/ pregnant women seem to be everywhere when you’re TTC.

Flo has the little if you’re pregnant it’s day 8, but then my prediction ovulation was Sunday which makes today 10DPO? I’m going to wait and test Friday because I’m off that day and I don’t want a day at work after a BFN.

If I am pregnant it should show by Friday FMU 🤞🏻 when is anyone else testing?

@Giles1008 i know how you feel too. My sister announced she was pregnant first month ttc without any monitoring and then there's me with opk and at the time bbt and timing dtd. You do get mixed emotions. I felt/feel like a failure but u agree with @TT82 just focus on this cycle. You're not out yet and you still got a chance.

@TT82 hang in there! Having family round especially with little ones takes it's toll emotionally and mentally. I have 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 that af doesn't come for you as well!

@Laylattc I am 2dpo. Still haven't decided when I'll test, either 12dpo or 10dpo or even wait for af date. DH is actually flying out at 14dpo and I'm due at 16dpo so not sure how it's al gonna play out!

@UnderstatedElegance welcome back! How you finding this tww? I have just started mine! We also didn't manage to dtd much, we missed ovulation day or even yesterday but we did on LH surge day plus before so hoping it's enough! Sending baby dust to you!

@Giles1008 We are ttc for over a year, but my problem is age - I am 41 now and egg quality is an issue, regardless good health, hormones level perfect etc.. So lors of cp 🥺
I have 2 kids, with big gap between, as my problem was to carry them full term before (cannot have twins for this reason too). We will try ivf next cycles too, as we both always wanted another baby just delayed too much 😔

@bunnynbear thank you!!! Yes for me important not BFP but no AF 🙈

Tested BFN, going to wait until Friday now and use a FRER. Although I feel like AF is on the way so know I should just wait. This was our last month so that’s us stopping now until December 😩 feeling a bit deflated. It means the gap between any future baby and our son will be at least 4 years which is longer than I wanted.

@TT82 sorry to hear you’ve had lots of cp, that must be so tough. 🤞🏻 for a sticky baby soon!

@Giles1008 you are still not out! Last cycle I was positive really late, like at 12dpo was only this shadow which my husband said is white. All my pregnancies/positive tests till then were really early, like 9-10dpo digital, and last cycle only 14dpo. So there's still hope!
But even if you have to delay till December, don't get too upset, main thing you will be trying and you will get the result ❤️

@bunnynbear I'm quite chilled out about it this month. I'm 38 now so I'm aware it might not happen anyway.

how is everyone doing? where are you on the TWW? I am 4dpo today, I feel eerily calm. I think its cos I am expecting a bfn in 10 days as that's what I've gotten the last two cycles. I haven't decided when I will start testing tho.

@bunnynbear I am also 4dpo today ☺️ Will start taking progesterone from today (dr thinks no need but said no harm and if I feel safer than ok to do so), I hate as they will intensify pregnancy-like symptoms a lot 🤦🏻‍♀️

Decided not to tes as will feel pregnancy anyway.. But as I have a stack of tests I bet I will start from 10dpo for sure 😆😅

@TT82 i have a stash of tests that I bought the cycle after the miscarriage, it has cheap ones, CB and FRER but never got the chance to use any but the cheap ones as it was always bfn. each cycle I consider if to buy more and then realised that I have enough at home 😂last cycle, i only used 3-4 cheap stick tests. I'm debating if to test on 10dpo or 12dpo.

@bunnynbear I fully understand and support the idea of "no early testing " and in my case I need to test 1w after AF due ir even later just to check..(by then I would feel and more to test if it is cp).. But for me it is part of the game, this testing and guessing 😅 so I won't be able to resist

11dpo and BFN, been testing since 8dpo and it’s so disheartening.

pretty sure this means I’m out, does anyone know of anyone who got a bfn’s at 11dpo and went on to get a positive?

@Laylattc same I’m either 11DPO or 12DPO used a FRER and stark white. I’ll just wait for AF to arrive now, due Monday.

You can still implant until 12DPO but I think the pregnancy is less likely to be successful.
