Today's 4DPO. This is second TWW after a miscarriage and that was the first time I was pregnant :(

First TWW after the miscarriage was very hard and very emotional for me, i was symptom spotting every little thing. This time around I feel calmer but its still 4DPO and my brain knows its too early for HcG to be there but not sure how I will be from 10DPO onwards.

Who else here is going through the TWW and how are you coping?

@bunnynbear hi, glad to hear nothing serious they found so far, but not glad that appointment only end of next year! Lets hope you won't need it by then 🙏
My news not good, we got only 2 5-day embryos, sent them for genetic testing, but no hope.. We spoke to 2 private clinics abroad too, they said that my clinic did a good job (was reassuring as communication not so great), and that is these two abnormal, I need to think of donor egg or just to close the subject.. or can try one more time. Was really upset as older women with low ovarian reserve still going and trying, and with my good hormones they don't have hope.. but at least they were direct. Biopsy found also inflammation of the lining, so on antibiotics too now (could have also impacted the implantation previously with my chemicals...so maybe not all down to bad quality..)
Will update in January when we have results and make some decisions.
Happy New Year everyone!!

@bunnynbear how are you?
No good news from me, both my embryos uneuploid, same as previous 4.. Looks like no good eggs left in me, not sure if mentally ready to do the last 3d round or just accept the failure 😞
I am lucky to have kids, still hurts tremendously..

bunnynbear · 20/01/2024 10:10

@TT82 im sorry to hear that. is there anything that can be done regarding the embryos, i.e. taking supplements or meds to help? for now, i think may just give yourself time and forget about the pressure of it. i cant imagine how much it hurts. try and take care of yourself and even tho its hard, look at the positives. if you pause for a third round, would you still try naturally? or are the risk of another chemical too high?

I'm in my second tww after the latest miscarriage. 2dpo today. DH was very tired during the fertile window cos of long hours at work so not sure whether we DTD enough, im not hopeful. Im now taking alot of supplements and meds and have been since the last miscarriage. alot of people have fallen pregnant so thats tough. im trying to look forward and also take of myself and keeping my mind off the waiting game.

@bunnynbear my best positive hugs for you!! ❤️

No, it is a luck game at this age.. I am taking looots of supplements, now for a year. If we do naturally then chemical will be like a given and we need to accept it if we want still next year to find a good egg.. I just read too many positive stories..but reality not on my side

Hi everyone. I wanted to provide an update in case anyone came across this thread. So after my third pregnancy lost, I finally managed to get referred to the recurrent miscarriage unit and did a load of tests over the first half of 2024. Turns out nothing is wrong and I kept hearing that it was just very very bad luck (which I know should be a relief but didn’t help as much as it should).

Exactly a year after the last pregnancy/miscarriage, I found myself pregnant again! The first trimester has been a bit rocky with a few complications but I am now nearly 17 weeks pregnant, due in the summer and yesterday we found out we’re having a healthy baby girl 😊

so after 2 years of trying, we’re starting to see the rainbow after the storm and 🤞🏼 everything goes well going forward

I hope all of you are keeping strong on this journey and being kind to yourselves. I 🙏🏼 that you also get good news soon (if not already!)
