4DPO yet again, are you with me?

Today's 4DPO. This is second TWW after a miscarriage and that was the first time I was pregnant :(

First TWW after the miscarriage was very hard and very emotional for me, i was symptom spotting every little thing. This time around I feel calmer but its still 4DPO and my brain knows its too early for HcG to be there but not sure how I will be from 10DPO onwards.

Who else here is going through the TWW and how are you coping?

@DmcinT I’ve just ordered a FRER, going to wait of using it until Friday 🤞🏻. I’m having some very mild cramps but I sometimes get cramps before AF although they are usually much stronger.

When is AF due? Will you wait until then to test, the symptom spotting and waiting is so hard. I have a quiet week in work so the days feel very long 😂

I’m around 8DPO today and absolutely no symptoms :( Trying to just go with the flow but it’s difficult 😂

Well I’m not due until Monday/Tuesday but I’ve a hen night Saturday so I’m to test Saturday morning, I’ll only be 10/11 dpo though so even if I get a bfn I could still be positive a few days later🙈 think I’ll just try disguise not drinking as much as I can and fake sip one for the day.

Anyone any good tips for disguising not drinking? I think it’ll be fine later in the night but the first few drinks will be the hardest and we’re doing a cocktail making class 🙈

@Giles1008 fingers crossed that its implantation bleeding, really hoping its your month this time! Im like @DHB i have no symptoms whatsoever and I think i am psyching myself out for a BFN. lower expectations and hopefully that'll lower the disappointment.

@DHB I'm 8DPO today so I'm one day behind you. I resisted the urge to test today (and so far this TWW). I am trying to hold out until Saturday when I am 12DPO (that's when I tested positive last time) but not sure if I will cave on Thursday!!

@ManchesterRoad this time around I've been trying my best not to think about it and keep my mind preoccupied with other stuff. but i think post 10DPO that's when I will start to get impatient to test. I agree with you, I dont know what to look for either and this is my 4th cycle trying! I think cos everyone is different and every pregnancy is different, its very hard to know. awww when to test, its recommended to wait until the day or two after a missed period but i find that too long! its personal preference.

@DHB I didn’t have any symptoms with my son first time, so fingers crossed it’s BFP for you.

I’m 11DPO and BFN so residing myself now that this isn’t our month. I’m wondering whether I can fit in another month of TTC we said this was our last month because we have my BIL wedding in May next year, they live in America. Is taking a 2 month old too young? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Giles1008 honestly I would try again next month. I think travelling with a 2 month old is worth it, you may just need to fast track registration & passport?

Thanks @bunnynbear 11DPO and a BFN I know there is still chance, not out until AF arrives. I’m usually quite down the day before AF so we’ll see due Saturday.

I think you’re right to hold out until 12 DPO, that’s when most would have a BFP if they indeed were pregnant 🤞🏻hopefully you can keep yourself busy until then.

@DmcinT - maybe you could pretend the drinks you made were gross - mess up the ingredients and then say they're too bad to drink...
9 dpo no symptoms whatsoever here. I'm thinking maybe I'm just too old for all of this 😂🤦‍♀️ I do already have 2 dc too.
@Giles1008 2 months old is fine to travel, they'll sleep a lot of it. It's much more difficult when they're mobile.

Hiya can I join? I am 9/10 dpo today, and I swear I am experiencing a dull ache like feeling, but I'm not sure if it's just In my head or not 🙈.. over a year of trying so I am used to getting my hopes up but we will see. Wishing you all the best this month ladies x

@Giles1008 my BIL's wedding is also in May 2024 and if I'm not lucky this month, i will try again as well. I took inspiration from you and ordered FRER but that wont come until friday so its in time for 12DPO.

@BabyUxX baby dust to you! how are you finding tww this time round? have you tested at all or are you waiting further down the line?

Ladies, today's has been a difficult day for me. I was getting slight cramps earlier, I get them a week before my period is due (I'm due on the 13th) but these are minor and sparingly not my usual bad cramps. I've gone to the toilet a few times (keep checking for implantation bleeding but none) and got a bit more discharge than usual (sorry if its TMI). all of this is what it was like last TWW. I've already started to mentally prepare myself that I'm out.

@bunnynbear the symptoms of early pregnancy and AF are so similar! It definitely doesn’t mean you are out. It could just be implantation cramps. My FRER is arriving Friday too, at least that means you wont test early and the FRER is likely to be accurate by that point.

I’ve found this TWW really challenging think it’s the time pressure but also we fell pregnant very easily last time. I might try SMEP and start DTD earlier in my cycle we sort of leave it until fertile week but maybe there isn’t enough waiting when I ovulate? Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

@bunnynbear Youre doing better than me haha! I’ve just finished this set of shifts so I’m probably going to test tomorrow with FMU as I’ll be around 10dpo (hopefully anyway! Not a clue really!) Fingers crossed for you too, but I definitely agree with the thinking bfn for lower blow if it is the case! 😩

@Giles1008 Sorry to see it’s a bfn so far :( Maybe try again though in a few days if AF hasn’t arrived! I would say squeeze another in though if it’s not this month, lots of people take little ones abroad!

I’m now full of a cold so that’s just great 😩 Also, the last three days I had really thick pasty white CM but that’s dried up as of yesterday too so I think I’m counting myself out as well!

6DPO here. Never been pregnant before but I am a midwife and my mind is going crazy symptom spotting 🤦🏼‍♀️Noticed had some period-y cramps this morning and a weird metallic taste in my mouth all afternoon. Need to chill!

@CrazyCatMom god it must make it that little bit harder knowing so much from being a midwife!

When are you thinking of testing? Is this your first cycle trying?

Yes my first cycle trying, stopped taking the pill on 17/05 and jumped straight into tracking ovulation because I can’t stand not having control lol.

We are flying to Amsterdam for a mini break on 19/06 so planning to test 18/06 (17DPO) if AF hasn’t arrived by then. Time will tell if I can be that patient!

How exciting! I’m so impressed you are planning on waiting until 17DPO. I am aiming to test at 13 DPO but unsure I’ll be able to be that patient.

Well, around 10dpo today and I have no willpower not to test, used smu…and I can’t believe my eyes 😩🥰

I'm surprised by my patience so far this tww. 10 dpo here. I've got a bit of a headache this morning. No other symptoms though. However, I've usually got sore breasts before AF arrives by this time and I haven't this month. It's all very confusing.

Ahh, congratulations @DHB there's definitely a line there. How are you feeling? I'm the same dpo as you and have no symptoms whatsoever. I think I'm out this month.

@foulplay Absolutely no symptoms whatsoever! I had it in my head that it’d be BFN and I’d be back on Boots ordering more tests for the coming days! All I’ve had is a cold or hayfever, god knows which, over the last few days.
