4DPO yet again, are you with me?

Today's 4DPO. This is second TWW after a miscarriage and that was the first time I was pregnant :(

First TWW after the miscarriage was very hard and very emotional for me, i was symptom spotting every little thing. This time around I feel calmer but its still 4DPO and my brain knows its too early for HcG to be there but not sure how I will be from 10DPO onwards.

Who else here is going through the TWW and how are you coping?

Thank you all! I really hope there are more BFPs to come on this thread! We’re all such similar dpo dates too so it’d be great to continue the journey with you all.

This month has taught me to relax more and what will be will be, and that symptom spotting isn’t too beneficial when you’re literally symptomless, it sometimes caused more stress than good…my cervix is hard, my CM had dried up, my sore nipples that I had just around ovulation had gone, so my fingers are well and truly crossed for you all and try to not worry if there aren’t the symptoms you’re searching for 💗 (which I know damn well is easier said than done 😂)

How is everyone today? @BabyUxX did u end up testing?

the tiredness has taken me today, I could sleep standing.

I think most of u are a day or 2 ahead of me, wondering will anyone test around 10/11 dpo or can anyone hold out to 13/14? (I have no willpower so will deff test around 11)

@DmcinT im ok, I think I will end up testing at the weekend which will be 10/11 DPO but will try to take the result with a pinch of salt.

@ManchesterRoad I’m same I’ll be 10/11 on Saturday so I think I’ll find it near impossible to not just test.

I had such an urgency to pee at this stage in my last pregnancy that I don’t have this time so I’m convincing myself it’s a bfn. I am so tired thou so god knows 😅

does anyone else find themselves asked to do things and think I can’t do that/lift that etc.. I might be pregnant 😂😂 (internal dialogue obviously lol)

@DmcinT look after yourself! have you managed to rest? i understand what you mean but for me, its food, i justify eating whatever cos (in my head > I might be pregnant).

Im 9DPO today, im in two minds whether to test tomorrow or saturday. My amazon delivery of FRER arrived 2 days early! its like its tempting me to test tomorrow😋I feel like im getting PMS as feel emotional but at the same time, work and family stuff have been testing so that too couldve worn me out.

@DmcinT how many DPO’s are you? I’m 12DPO I tested 9, 10, 11 but actually haven’t tested today I can feel AF on the way and had negatives all the others.

Feeling fine about it today because we exchanged on a new house! This month wasn’t meant to be and I’ll do one more more month, then wait until Christmas 🤞🏻

@Giles1008 congrats on the house! you're not out until AF shows. i still have my fingers crossed for you.

5dpo here. 6th try after 4 chemical pregnancies. Lost all faith that my body can carry a baby again, it will be very mixed feelings if I get a positive, obviously it's good that I've made that first step but that's when the dread and huge anxiety starts

@bunnynbear yeah I had a lie down when I got home there for half hr, I dunno is it just a notion to me because I was grand then.

Id deff take tests arriving early as a sign 🙈 but I’m a serial tester.. so hard when they are there, I’m only 8/9 dpo tomorr and I’m already tempted but I know it’ll 100% be a bfn. I tested at 10 dpo last time and got bfn and then 12 was my bfp

@Giles1008 huge congrats on the house and as they say ur not out until af arrives! That would be quite the month though.

@Letsgotitans oh im so sorry to read this and got your losses, it’s just heart breaking. Sending so much baby dust your way 🙏🏽🤞🏽 I hope and can’t wait to see a few bfps here over the next few days ❤️❤️

@bunnynbear I am trying to stay relaxed in this TWW. But i am guilty of major symptom spotting.

I am 6dpo today and have had headache all day. I am hoping to test around 12dpo. Long wait yet. Xx

I haven't tested yet, AF is due tomorrow, I had cramps all day at 10dpo, headache all day on 11dpo and feeling like rubbish! I bet its just Af on her way It's so hard to not symptom spot. Yesterday I was absolutely freezing and then the next minute I was red hot aswell. Not sure what's going on there, boobs swollen but not as much as last month xx

@DmcinT 🤞🏻 for you BFP, I am either 12DPO or 13DPO today, AF due tomorrow or Saturday. It feels she’s on her way I always have the urge to deep clean and tackled my sons toy box yesterday 😂

Well I caved this morning and took a test and yes it was a BFN and as stark white as it could be. No surprise there. Going to wait til Saturday to test again.

@BabyUxX did you test today? Before my symptom spotting was for pregnancy but now it's like yeah "af is coming", "yeah that's an af symptom" 😞

@DmcinT I acted on the sign and tested but bfn. I also got a bfp last time at 12dpo. I'm a little bit scared to test on 12dpo in case it's a bfn cos it's less likely to be a false negative than let's say now which is why I'm not too fussed of getting a bfn today. How you keeping up? Have you figured how you're going to avoid drinking on Saturday?

@Giles1008 did you end up testing today? How you feeling? I'm already thinking of next cycles fertile window.

Good luck to those testing today. I'm weirdly not wanting ti test this month. I think in my head I know I'm out. I was a bit up and down mood wise yesterday, but that's normal for me at this point in my cycle.

Sorry to hear that @bunnynbear I spend too long trying to see a shadow that isn’t there. A BFN is so tough, but are you only 7DPO I hear only 5% have implanted by then. Definitely still in.

I haven’t tested since, I have all the symptoms for AF, slight cramps, high cervix, boobs have stopped being tender. I think CD1 will be tomorrow. Feeling positive and optimistic for a new cycle, March babies.

I have quite long cycles so I’m actually quite happy I will get another chance in June 🙌🏻 Flo has my ovulation predicted for 27th.

If next month doesn’t happen then we’ll definitely wait until Christmas time which actually has lots of positive for a later baby. I’ll be on maternity when my son starts reception, the new gov childcare policies will have been implemented (so no ridiculous nursery fees) and hopefully economically everything will be a bit calmer.

Keeping my positive pants on 😂

@Giles1008 I feel af is on its way also 😞 feeling very deflated and emotional today. My back was sore in a gym class this morn and trainer asked was I ok at end of the class and I burst out crying 🙈😅😩 then cried the journey home and just feel completely on edge. Boobs are slightly tender and fuller today also so I’d say af is coming

I think we will take a break over summer now and wait until Oct/Nov aswel. We have a few weddings, holidays and I’ve 2 hen weekends so I think we’ll just enjoy the summer months and focus back on ttc for the winter months, the timing work out better for me also with teacher holidays. I do feel a bit gutted though as I would have been finished now and starting maternity leave in sept but I’m trying to focus on the positives.

@foulplay i feel exactly the same, as I’m getting closer to 10/11 dpo I feel like I do t want the disappointment of testing and seeing a bfn

@bunnynbear I deff get what u mean on seeing a bfn anything before 10/11 u just know there’s still a bit of hope. I think if I test negative by Monday I know I’m 100% out. I haven’t really come up with a solution for Saturday other than accept all drinks going and take an odd sip here and there but pour myself some non alcoholic drinks and hope no1 catches on🤞🏽 Even if they do I think I’ll just say I’m trying to cut down on drinking🤷🏼‍♀️

I popped in for a coffee after the gym this morning and a woman I haven’t seen in a few months was there, she commented ‘I was sure you’d be pregnant by now and maybe even had a baby’ 😞 it’s so hard to know what to say.. part of me wants to say ‘I was pregnancy for 3 months but lost the babies’ but I know that’s a bit mean.

@DmcinT i’m sorry to read you’re having such a tough day! TTC is so challenging, let yourself cry and feel crap it’s so emotional.

It’s so annoying when people mention pregnancy, at the weekend some family members were asking when we’re having a second. DS needs a sibling 3 years is the perfect gap! I’m like I know I’m trying!

I’m at teacher too and last time used the SPL maternity policies to get to get full pay during all the school holidays. Definitely look into it when you get your BFP.

Hello everyone, please may I join? I’m 10dpo today on my second cycle ttc after miscarriage. driving myself crazy!

Tested every day since 8dpo and been getting the faintest squinting indents on frer so bfn’s I guess. Uploaded picture of todays test to the naked eye and then with contrast turned up if anyone can see as I’ve got a serious case of line eyes and upset at frer as apparently they’re notorious for indents?

hoping I’m not out yet, nice to speak to people in the same boat!

8DPO today and I have got more period-y cramping and very light brown mucousy discharge.

Either AF is arriving or implantation is occurring. I relented and did a PT today (BFN as expected). Watch and wait I guess 👀

@Giles1008 I was 10dpo when I tested. i saved that screenshot showing the percentage of accuracy in PT from 10dpo onwards. So I know there's a 65% that it was a false bfn! - me trying to stay positive :)

I'm 11dpo today and I think I may be out. This morning, there was a ever so slight blood (red/brown) in a bit of discharge which I think is spotting for af. I'm also bloated and and having my usual PMS symptoms (especially the overly sensitive emotionally feeling) but I have 5 days until af so its going to be agony. I have long cycles too. my next ovulation date is the 30th based on flo and my cycles are like clockwork, even after the miscarriage.

@Laylattc sorry for your loss, how you finding this tww? sorry it looks like an indent to me too. maybe retest in a few days. I plan to test tomorrow when I'm 12dpo.

@CrazyCatMom sending baby dust your way. how you finding tww? when I saw the bloody discharge today, my heart sunk cos my first thought was af is coming. when do you plan on retesting?

@DmcinT I hope your day got better. this can be a struggle and challenging, and you can also feel lonely going through it. Feel free to rant as much as you want here, we're here to listen and support you as much as you need it.

Just remember people can be very insensitive, just ignore that woman and other similar comments. You're doing great, remember to look after yourself and take time for yourself!

@DHB how are the symptoms post BFP?

It’s still too early to test for me, but honestly I think I’m out. I’ve been symptom spotting like mad and driving myself crazy which is stupid, because really what is the chance of falling pregnant the first cycle of trying.

also, what brand of pregnancy test is best? I keep seeing conflicting opinions so worried I’ll get excited over an evap line 😂

@ManchesterRoad a lot of people always recommend First Response to me especially the early response one. Apparently Clearblue's dye has issues and can give false positives but the digital ones work well if you're testing after your period is late.

It's possible to fall pregnant first cycle, I did but it didn't stick. One of my sisters told me a few days ago she's pregnant (tcc #3, her second is 8yo). it was her first cycle trying so its possible. Plus AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are the same so you're not out until AF shows. I'm hoping you get a positive this cycle too!
