@Rosie250 this looks exactly as my clear blue did at this stage too! I took every test going at the time! Congratulations 🥳

RoseH36 · 10/06/2023 13:51

@Rosie250 I've got a stuffy nose too, the heat today isn't helping. Bit headachy too but apart from that I'm feeling ok at the moment.

Mrsspoon3 · 10/06/2023 22:44

Just been trying to catch up on everything on here as been so busy last few days with my husband being away and solo parenting!
Congratulations @Rosie250 and @RoseH36!! 😊 It’s a good month for Rosies/Roses 😁
I can definitely see a line @DmcinT! Have you tested again?
Hope you are feeling ok @CurlyWurly1991. That must have been really disappointing x

Mrsspoon3 · 10/06/2023 22:47

I think I’m 1dpo maybe!! Just waiting for FF to confirm and seeing how my bbt is over next few days. I had EWCM though for the first time in ages today, so maybe I haven’t ovulated after all! Not sure. We only managed to dtd 5 days before I think I ovulated and quite late on the day of it, with my hubby being away, so think I’m probably out this month anyway 😢

CurlyWurly1991 · 11/06/2023 08:35

Hello @Mrsspoon3 it’s so confusing isn’t it? I’m also using FF and it’s my first month properly getting to grips with charting after a long break. I’m 10 years older and periods are much more irregular!!. Finally using a proper thermometer seems to help.
One thing I find encouraging about FF is that it emphasises to keep going until ov is confirmed. I can see how easy it would be to interpret certain patterns and assume ov was a certain time, and then miss it if it comes later. The nerd in me loves all of its chart pattern interpretations and data points too.
me and my DP have often got time away from each other which can make things tricky as well. Fingers crossed you managed to catch that egg this month x

Mrsspoon3 · 11/06/2023 08:56

@CurlyWurly1991 It really is confusing! It’s like maths problem trying to figure out all the clues - like I had EWCM that day, and a positive opk this day, but my temperature did this on that day … Haha. Also with having a toddler I often get woken up like an hour or so before I normally take my temperature, so I don’t know how accurate it is. My thermometer takes forever to show the temperature too and I often fall back asleep while

Mrsspoon3 · 11/06/2023 08:58

@CurlyWurly1991 Oops sent that too soon! Meant to say while I’m taking my temperature and drop the thermometer (if it’s been a bad night with my toddler) haha. I do like doing it though and having more of an inkling what’s going on in my body.
It is hard when you have time away from each other. Me and my husband were long distance when trying for my little boy and that was hard. Does your partner work away?

RoseH36 · 11/06/2023 13:08

Having quite an emotional day today, part of me is wanting to get more tests so I can test weekly to ensure there's always a line there but the other part of me is saying don't be daft as it will probably stress me out more. I also know that I could easily be testing positive even if the worst happens so it doesn't mean anything. It's hard staying positive.

Bumblebee413 · 11/06/2023 14:00

You’re doing a really good job. @RoseH36. Your body is doing all that it can. You go with what is likely to bring you the most peace.

I didn’t pee on a stick at all last cycle and I realised that it was because if I did have a chemical, I would be happier not knowing about it. But that wouldn’t be right for a lot of people.

My DH has just left for another 6 weeks today and I feel like my lady bits need a sabbatical. And it wasn’t even close to twice a day @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 😂🤣!! I’m on CD 18 and apparent have 4 days left of my fertile period according to my Garmin app. I’ve been using Boots cheapie OPKs, but they haven’t told me anything- the lines get stronger and weaker randomly and they’ve not peaked at all. Unless maybe they’re about to over the next few days and we’ve missed the boat for another 2 cycles. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really feel like I ovulated on CD6- I know that sounds weird and the OPKs didn’t say anything to support that, but I had EWCM which I haven’t again all cycle and there was a little fresh red spotting. Dr Google says early ovulation can happen and who am I to argue with that highly reliable, scientific source? 😂

Having officially been pessimistic last time and at the start of this cycle, I feel in my gut like we might be lucky this time. And if not, then I will be sad, then drink some wine and find good things to do. Remind me of the last bit in a few weeks please… 😜

Mrsspoon3 · 11/06/2023 16:19

Ah hope you’re ok @RoseH36. It is hard, and I agree you just need to do what makes you feel less anxious, whatever that is. I was a bit crazy when I was pregnant with my son and tested twice a day from when I found out until I had a 7 week scan, even though I knew if the pregnancy ended I would possibly still get a positive test for a couple of weeks, but it did make me feel better seeing it. Hopefully it will start to get easier soon as the days go on.

CurlyWurly1991 · 11/06/2023 16:39

@Mrsspoon3 agree - it’s like a puzzle to solve! Im kicking myself for not having chatted over the past few years or even months (didn’t expect to TTC) but could have used it as birth control.
Not much work travel for us but this month has had a couple of trips at inconvenient times!
@Bumblebee413 are you temping too? Might help to pinpoint whether you did ov so early.
@RoseH36 oh it’s so hard isn’t it. I was the same when pg with my DD. I was so anxious about it and suspect the hormones was increasing my anxiety. I think this is very common sadly. It didn’t help that I spotted throughout the whole first trimester and had a few EPU visits.

my cycle is baffling tbh. Temps are very high and I only spotted and had very light bleeding so may have ovulated late which likely means I’m out for this TWW. However tested this morning and BFN. Wonder if I have a UTI and my symptoms were that plus ovulation.

CurlyWurly1991 · 11/06/2023 17:06

Here’s the chart in case anyone can interpret this. Waiting for FF to confirm ovulation - although there are lots of missing temps so probably not going to be that accurate.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 11/06/2023 17:20

@CurlyWurly1991 I would think you haven't yet ovulated as would expect the temps to be 36.6 or higher for three days. However you could just have ovulated, as your temp yesterday was high! Does that correlate with what you thought?

I'm a couple of days late for my period, and so bought a cheapy insensitive waitrose own test and took it with a no urine hold. I think I'm pregnant though, and now feeling pretty uncertain because the last time I had brown spotting it ended up being a mmc. Not really sure what to think. I've had two little episodes of light brown spotting, and today thick creamy cm

CurlyWurly1991 · 11/06/2023 17:40

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 that is a clear positive there! Brown spotting often doesn’t mean bad news. I spotted brown, pink, and had bright red bleeding throughout my first trimester with my DD. Many many women bleed in pregnancy. Hoping for a positive outcome for you x

Un7breakable · 11/06/2023 18:10

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Congratulations that's defo positive. Can you call the EPU tomorrow and get a HCG test or scan?

VixFromThe6ix · 11/06/2023 18:15

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 that definitely looks positive!! Congratulations!!! So long as spotting is brown, it's totally normal. My fingers crossed for you that everything will be ok.

@Rosie250 congratulations!!! Beautiful line!

I love that we are having quite a few bfps in this thread! It makes me feel hopeful for sure.

If those who got pregnant did anything different last cycle, please share!!

RoseH36 · 11/06/2023 18:29

@Bumblebee413 @Mrsspoon3 @CurlyWurly1991 thank you. Think I may get some hopefully for a bit of peace of mind. It's so lovely being able to talk to you all though rather than bottling things up as so many of you know what it's like.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 definitely a positive. Congratulations. The spotting is hard, with my first I had it around 5 weeks and all was fine but then last time it resulted in a mmc. Going to the loo just makes me feel nervous know which sounds ridiculous.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 11/06/2023 18:41

Thanks so much @CurlyWurly1991 @Un7breakable @VixFromThe6ix and @RoseH36.

@RoseH36 it makes total sense, I was the same after and I probably will be this time also! I'm not getting my hopes up yet, I'll prob book for a private early scan at 6ish weeks if things are still going okay.

@VixFromThe6ix it may sound really woo, but I've had five sessions of acupuncture. They said many of their clients without male factor fall pregnant within three months. I had acupuncture last time for my son also, and was pregnant after four sessions. For male factor, they said they can really help with sperm, along with traditional Chinese medicine herbs

RoseH36 · 11/06/2023 18:55

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it just feels really strange this time round, there's no joy about it at all. I'm calling the hospital next week at some point to find out when I can book an early scan.

Mrsspoon3 · 11/06/2023 19:09

It’s hard to tell with the missing temperatures @CurlyWurly1991, as it could be that you ovulated on day 27 perhaps and the next 3 days were high temperatures, then it just dropped a little (my temperatures often fluctuate after ovulation) or it could be that you just ovulated and it’s going to continue to rise?

Congratulations @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7! Brown spotting and thick creamy cm were my first (and really only) symptoms of pregnancy in the early days last time. It must be really hard not to feel anxious, but hopefully all is fine!

Eirlys1986 · 11/06/2023 19:21

Congratulations @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 😊, sorry things don’t feel joyful this time around, hopefully after an early scan you may start to feel a bit more secure and better xx

DmcinT · 11/06/2023 19:27

@Mrsspoon3 sorry I was away at a hen for the weekend, I retested yesterday morning (attached) so stayed away from the drink🎉🥰 Looking forward to doing clear blue with number of weeks tomorr. I would be due af tomorr so hoping all is ok and it shows good progress.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 congrats 🥳 great line

CurlyWurly1991 · 11/06/2023 19:40

@Mrsspoon3 thanks for that … I know the missing temperatures are very annoying! Now I have a proper bbt thermometer with a memory function I will be using every morning. The spotting is a bit worrying too, I seem to spot from any old thing (and always have) but don’t know if it usually precedes or follows ovulation so can’t time things that way. Understandably don’t want to dtd when I’m bleeding either…

I’ve started taking a good b6 complex (p5p), do others take that? Also on the herbs that includes vitex/agnus castus for increasing progesterone.

CurlyWurly1991 · 11/06/2023 19:41

@DmcinT looking good!!

Bumblebee413 · 11/06/2023 19:56

Congratulations @@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 !! So lovely to see.

I agree @VixFromThe6ix, it is really lovely to see the BFPs here. Makes it all feel a little more achievable.

@CurlyWurly1991 I’m not temping I’m afraid. I’d thought that the OPKs would be more clear. I guess it’s good to have new exciting things to try next time!
