Hi ladies

I thought I’d create this thread if anyone wants to jump on.

I have a little boy who was 2 in April šŸ’–

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

Whether you’re TTC baby #1 #2 #3 etc you’re welcome to jump on ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Thanks @SnookyPook . I have looked up private endocrinologists just in case. If it’s a case of seeing someone quicker then of course I’ll do anything to have quicker access to any necessary medications or advice. Fingers crossed šŸ¤ž

DmcinT · 05/06/2023 12:21

@Dreamer88 with everything that happened that day it’s highly likely u were quite stressed so it could deff be related. Fingers crossed now ur not waiting too long. When are the repeat bloods?

Dreamer88 · 05/06/2023 13:27

@DmcinT Friday 16th June right during expected ovulation. Going to continue trying anyway! Fingers crossed everything goes well for you and @SnookyPook

DmcinT · 05/06/2023 23:24

Girls have any of u tracked rhr by any chance, I just noticed mine has increased since Friday and stayed higher. Could be unrelated but just noticed it and wondered

SnookyPook · 05/06/2023 23:30

@DmcinT ooh! Pretty sure I've heard that can be a sign of early pregnancy... šŸ‘€šŸ¤žšŸ»

Dreamer88 · 06/06/2023 06:43

@DmcinT Hope it means a positive for you!

Freddie15VES · 06/06/2023 09:03

Hello

Just here to get a telling off please. 8 DPO today. Just tested negative and I’m gutted and counting myself out for the month šŸ™ƒšŸ™ƒšŸ™ƒ

please tell me how stupid I am thanks bye šŸ˜‚šŸ˜©

OP posts:
Strawb28 · 06/06/2023 12:17

Won't tell you you are stupid because I be doing the same myself but I will say you definitely are not out yet!!! Still early days!! @Freddie15VES

SnookyPook · 06/06/2023 12:35

@Freddie15VES slaps wrists haha bless you. 8dpo is super early. Implantation is typically between 6-12 dpo and test won't be positive until after that... So if you implant towards the end of that, deffo not out!

7dpo here and currently determined not to test until 21dpo šŸ˜‚ however if by any chance AF doesn't appear on schedule it will be hard to resist.

DmcinT · 06/06/2023 15:07

@Freddie15VES šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ at least u know urself it’s just too early, ur deff not out but it is so so tempting to just test. I’m 6/7 dpo today so I’d say by Friday I’ll be itching to test

I’ve such tiredness but don’t know if it’s just the heatwave we’re having at the min draining all my energy

Westy22 · 06/06/2023 17:08

Hi,

Joining this group having recently had and lost my first pregnancy in May and now hoping to conceive again (and I feel like I'm doing everyone else's head in talking about pregnancy stuff)

My first pregnancy seemed doomed from the get go with slow rising HCG (only increasing by 50%) and after a number of weeks back and fourth to EPU due to experiencing horrible pain one eve, it was confirmed that the pregnancy had failed 3 weeks ago and I naturally passed everything.

So I now find myself basically obsessed with becoming pregnant again. I stopped bleeding on the 16th May and had a negative a week later, things happened on the 30th and I'm now wishing myself pregnant after one attempt šŸ˜«šŸ™ˆ

I got a really clear ovulation sign 24 hours after we did and purchased some cheap ovulation sticks to see what was happening as I'm concerned my cycle won't go back to normal. Anyway the sticks are so confusing, so technically I should be due on this week if I go by my last bleed, however my ovulation sticks even today are still coming up with a strong positive? Is it normal they would be positive for a week?

I've some how convinced myself I'm going to be pregnant already and I'm a million % monitoring every bodily symptom šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆ even tho I didn't notice any signs first time round until I'd say 2 weeks after we conceived.

Dreamer88 · 06/06/2023 20:15

Hi @Westy22 sorry about your loss. I think it’s fairly normal to be like that when you really want something. Feel free to talk about it all you like on here because nobody here will get sick of it. It’s hard to know when to stop talking about it with friends and family.

Westy22 · 06/06/2023 22:13

Thank you @Dreamer88 I've been reading these chats most evenings since my first pregnancy and found them so helpful during my worst times.

Currently telling myself to watch and wait for the next few days and see if my period comes. So annoying that nearly every pregnancy symptom is also linked to being due on aswell lol I got excited today when I seen little white bits in my wee šŸ™ˆ (tmi) as it reminded me of what my urine was like pregnant but then i read it can be linked to ovulation aswell as 12468 other things. Think I've officially gone mental 🤣 (silently tho) x

SnookyPook · 07/06/2023 09:14

@Westy22 welcome! So sorry for your loss. As @Dreamer88 this is deffo a safe space for all pregnancy related chat. Our bodies can be so confusing at times can't they?! This may just be one of those 'wait and see' times, frustrating as that is... 8dpo here and hyper vigilent to every possible little sign or symptom!

Westy22 · 07/06/2023 11:17

Thank you @SnookyPook

Definitely need to wait and I've told myself I'm not allowed to buy anymore pregnancy tests because it's too easy to just test if I have them. AF due in about 2 days but ovulation sticks are throwing me off, think I'm going to give up on them atm.

Feel like I feel a bit of nausea every now and again and my boobs are feeling ever so slightly more sensitive but again hormones all over the place may well cause that.

I never ever thought I'd become so obsessed, I've always been super chilled and when friends mentioned ovulation sticks etc I was like "just stop focusing on it and it will happen" now look at me 😩

Good luck to you šŸ¤žā¤ļø

Freddie15VES · 07/06/2023 19:10

Okay so I’m officially going insane cos I feel like I can see a v v v v faint shadow on this test from 6pm this evening when I’ve been drinking gallons of water šŸ™ƒšŸ™ƒ

Im becoming a TTC monster

@Freddie15VES šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I honestly think I’ll be the same from tomorr I’m just a say or 2 behind ya lol

i think I see a shadow but I’m not 100%, everything crossed that it darkens over the next few daysšŸ¤žšŸ½ What is the sensitivity of those tests, is it 10?

Freddie15VES · 07/06/2023 20:22

@DmcinT i think they’re 25! They’re just amazing cheapies. Now the test is dry I do see it but I defo don’t trust dry tests haha

OP posts:
Freddie15VES · 07/06/2023 20:23

@DmcinT actually no theyre 10! Cos I got super sensitive ones as wanted to make sure hcg was going down okay after MC!

Westy22 · 07/06/2023 20:37

Ooo fingers crossed @Freddie15VES šŸ¤ž

I had a weird small amount of light brown discharge earlier so I'm wondering if that's a sign of implantation or my body is playing cruel tricks on me. I don't recall having this first time round but then I wasn't looking for it either šŸ™ˆ feel a bit crampy and my boobs are definitely sensitive now. X

Strawb28 · 07/06/2023 22:49

@Freddie15VES omg keep us updated!!! I have everything crossed for you xx

DmcinT · 08/06/2023 10:13

Best of luck anyone testing todayā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ½šŸ¤žšŸ½

@Freddie15VES will u test today?
im very emotional today so I’m convinced af is on its way, boobs also feeling full and slightly tender šŸ˜ž such a rollercoaster. Wish I could be one of those ppl that doesn’t over analyse every little twinge

SnookyPook · 08/06/2023 10:24

@DmcinT sending hugs. Also pretty convinced I'm out this month based on lack of creamy CM which I got with my two previous pregnancies. Feeling a bit bleurgh even though I've been trying so hard to keep expectations low and know it'd be super quick to get pregnant again so soon. Still.. let's wait for AF and take it from there!!

@Freddie15VES any update?! X

Freddie15VES · 08/06/2023 10:56

@DmcinT @SnookyPook tested this morning at 10DPO and very very very negative haha but I’m okay with it! I wanted to get my Botox again this month so trying to see that as a silver lining! Hope you’re all doing okay?

OP posts:
Westy22 · 08/06/2023 12:31

@DmcinT @SnookyPook

I feel you both today, I convinced myself I was definitely pregnant yesterday and now today I'm totally the opposite. I've done tests which are very faint positive but I'm so scared it's lingering from miscarriage 4 weeks ago. 😩 so I'm not testing again for a few days and if it darkens then I know it's new..or AF turns up in the meantime.

Do any of you kind of track your cervix position? šŸ™ˆšŸ¤£

@Freddie15VES ahh really I'd check again just incase in a few days maybe? But atleast your OK xx
