Hi ladies

I thought I’d create this thread if anyone wants to jump on.

I have a little boy who was 2 in April šŸ’–

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

Whether you’re TTC baby #1 #2 #3 etc you’re welcome to jump on ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

@Sez281 you are being so brave! I have seen so many threads where people say they got pregnant the very next cycle so fingers crossed for you!

@SnookyPook i am so sorry to hear about your friend it is absolutely devestating to have losses! I really hope she will be OK.

I will be officially 4 weeks tomorrow but I cannot stop worrying about another chemical just after my last one I can't get excited at all. Hopefully another few days will help me.

Jadeypie · 18/07/2023 11:22

@strawbs totally understandable the way your feeling hopefully as time goes on you can start to feel more relaxed 🄰

Sez281 · 18/07/2023 11:41

@Strawb28 I totally get it, a part of me is sorry I tested so early as I might not have known (although AF was 5 days late in the end so I probably would have) Hopefully in a few days you'll feel a bit better about it and can start to get tentatively excited šŸ¤žšŸ’“

Strawb28 · 18/07/2023 11:48

@Jadeypie yes I do think another week will make me feel much better!!

@Sez281 I am the same as you but I just knew in my gut I was pregnant so wasn't able to hold out. I'm a poas addict!! Hope you are doing OK today xx

Sez281 · 18/07/2023 13:50

@Strawb28 I'm doing ok thanks, having a pool day to myself as my DP is playing golf. Think the heat is helping my cramps which is something I guess šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø I'm a total poas addict too. Currently ordering Premom kit online so it'll be there when I get home šŸ™ˆ Hope the next few days fly for you and you can relax a bit more then šŸ¤ž xx

Freddie15VES · 18/07/2023 14:33

Awww @Sez281 im so sorry!! What a shitter. If it’s any consolation I had a chemical the month before I got pregnant with my little boy, I think my body just needed a ā€˜warm up’ sending all love and positive vibes!

@Freddie15VES Aw thanks so much, that's so nice to hear 🄹 I'm weirdly doing ok, like yes it's shit and I had a good cry yesterdayšŸ˜ž but I'm staying really hopeful, hearing stories like yours really helps šŸ’“Also I'm considering myself as being really lucky as I've managed to get pregnant twice this year. We weren't actively ttc in Jan and I only had 2 cycles of properly ttc since my MMC when I got the BFP again so I'm really optimistic that it is going to happen soon šŸ™

SnookyPook · 18/07/2023 15:45

@Sez281 that's such a great way to look at it. ā¤ļø

HopeAndStrength · 18/07/2023 16:03

I have my fingers crossed for you @Sez281 - I really hope you enjoy your holiday

Sez281 · 18/07/2023 16:29

Thanks @HopeAndStrength @SnookyPook I'm going to do my best to enjoy the rest of the holiday then dive straight back into it next weekšŸ˜‚. Until it happens for me I'll be living vicariously through you guys on hopeful BFPs and scan updates šŸ’“

xxcxdonxx · 18/07/2023 19:41

Hope being away with family @Sez281 is a good distraction for you and you are doing ok.

Your friend sounds like a total warrior @SnookyPook I really admire her strength to continue.

I’m having a bit of a pity party today as my pre AF spotting has arrived. I know it’s only been 3 months TTC for us since the mmc and in the grand scheme of things that is nothing but I’m just a bit fed up with the whole thing. I just can’t get my head around how it’s all went pear shaped from getting pregnant so easily, having two very easy pregnancies to then have two losses and now not even getting pregnant. Im so very grateful for my little family and sometimes it feels like it’s time to quit while I’m ahead instead of going through this all consuming process.

I know I’m very fortunate and there are others who are TTC for far longer than I have been but it’s all just felt a bit rough today ā˜¹ļø

Jadeypie · 18/07/2023 21:28

@xxcxdonxx it's really sad you feel like this but I understand and your feelings are very valid ttc is so consuming and after losses it feels like a kick in the teeth when u just desperately want that positive test! It's like you can't wait u just need it now! (If that makes sense) maybe take a step back for a breather throw out the ovulation tests stop the tracking and just breathe from all ttc stuff ā¤ļø

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you xxx

Sez281 · 18/07/2023 22:36

Aww @xxcxdonxx I'm so sorry you're having such a crappy time of it 😢 Like @Jadeypie says maybe step back for a cycle or 2 and take some time to regroup. I know I was full of positive vibes earlier but deep down I'm terrified too. I turned 40 last October and don't have any DC's so realistically time isn't on my side šŸ˜ž I always hear stories from friends in similar positions to yours though, they've had success previously then found it harder on #3 but in many cases it was the stress of trying. I know it's easier said than done but maybe not tracking for a little while and wait and see šŸ™

Strawb28 · 19/07/2023 08:38

Hi girls can I ask do you think this line progression is OK? Top three are from 9dpo and then there's 1 a day until the last one which is 14dpo today. Yous can be very honest I'm just so nervous. They are the boots strips which I believe are the 25 sensitivity if that makes any difference.

Jadeypie · 19/07/2023 08:41

@Strawb28 I think it's a perfect line progression I wouldn't worry some people don't get BFP till 15dpo or further so I think your line for 14dpo is lovely! Try not stress xx

Strawb28 · 19/07/2023 08:47

Thank you @Jadeypie definitely scarred after my chemical šŸ™ˆ once I get to 5 weeks which is one more week I'll feel better knowing I'm past that stage šŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Sez281 · 19/07/2023 08:50

They look really good @Strawb28 šŸ™Œ I know how nerve wracking it is but try not to worry too much xx

Strawb28 · 19/07/2023 08:52

@Sez281 thank you so much huni! I really appreciate yous having a look for my crazy self!! Xx

Sez281 · 19/07/2023 10:14

Ladies for those of you that have had CPs what was the bleeding like? This is obviously very different to my MMC and I don't think I've ever had a chemical before (although possibly last Dec when I was 4 days late but didn't think to test) my cramping was really intense the last 2 days and bleeding quite heavy too, now there's no cramping and haven't bled since yesterday evening. I'm not going to delude myself into thinking I'm still pregnant😢 but just wondering what everybody else's CP bleeds we're like and how long they lasted etc?

Jadeypie · 19/07/2023 10:39

@Sez281 I havnt had a CP before so I crnt give any good advise sorry. Have u done anymore tests? X

Sez281 · 19/07/2023 10:46

@Jadeypie just did opk and hcg, dark line on opk saying my LH is high and bfn on hcg as expected 😢 I know LH can be all over the place after MC but know I don't know what to do. All the research I did says it takes 2 weeks to ovulate after CP. I'm actually hoping cramps and bleeding will return to clear out my system as I dont think 2 day bleed is normal šŸ˜ž

@Jadeypie @Sez281 thank you ladies, I love this little community.
I’m sorry if that came across insensitive or seem ungrateful, it really wasn’t meant to be.
Age definitely does play on my mind too (I’m almost 38) and I’m such a planner but that I don’t do well when things are out with my control. I just need to give myself a shake 😜

If it helps, when I had my chemical, I only ever had a faint positive and then a bit of brown blood which developed into my period. I don’t think I would have known if I hadn’t tested earlier. My period was the same length and wasn’t any heavier or lighter etc.

@Strawb28 i think your line progression looks lovely šŸ’œ

Strawb28 · 19/07/2023 11:43

@Sez281 when I had my chemical. I got some decent lines but not proper proper dark then they went fainter and I eventually bled like a normal period I believe no big clots but small coffee granule looking ones which I read about! I'm so unsure about why your LH is so high but I've read of people finding out they were pregnant 2 or 3 weeks after a chemical! I done sooooo much reading after mine!!

@xxcxdonxx thank you so much I'm trying to feel a bit more calm. Today is defo better than the anxiety yesterday xx

Sez281 · 19/07/2023 11:49

@Strawb28 thanks, I think I'll just stop testing LH as I'll only drive myself crazy 🄓
@xxcxdonxx you don't sound ungrateful at all, you sound pissed off and it's ok to be! We're all in the same boat and will have good days and bad xx

Strawb28 · 19/07/2023 12:30

@DmcinT @Freddie15VES @Hankthehonk did any of you get small bits of brown discharge when wiping early in pregnancy?
