Hi girls here is a new thread as we have nearly reached the 1000 limit x

@Noodles4Me just read your post and I can relate so much...
Also TTC number 2, and feel like I don't want to obsess over it ... and then stress my DH out, which has happened ...
Its just the pressure of time...I'm 44.
The busyness of life ...having one child already ...busy busy busy 😊

Baby dust to us all

AF is due today but yesterday afternoon I was feeling so emotional, wfh and crying at my desk over nothing, that I took a test. There was a vvfl so I did another this morning with fmu and it is a stronger line. Don't want to get too excited yet and I am not going to tell my partner for a few more days in case it goes away. This is today's test, what do you think?

Thanks @TraceyTarotReader I think I am 14 dpo but not 100% sure as was only tracking my ovulation by cm!

Hi, would it be OK for me to Join?
I'm 42, got a son who conceived naturally in 2016, mmc before him and two afterwards. Had ivf 2 years ago which didn't result in us having a baby, so we decided to keep seeing if anything happens, so far nothing, bought the premom ovulation tests and I think might have had sex on the right days this month, fingers crossed.

We do have a consultation at the Hewitt Centre next Thursday to discuss the possibility of maybe using a donor egg and seeing what they say.

I think I’m currently 13 dpo but getting bfn so far. Though I’m trying to convince myself I can see a vvvvfl, if I just hold it in the right position, in the right light. Will be investing in a microscope soon to give me a better view! 😉 You never know for sure until auntie flo shows, but not looking promising for this month. Good luck to any others currently in the dire 2ww!

@pcmod I was a massive idiot and mixed up scan days, it’s actually tomorrow! I’m such a mutant 🙈🙈 I think with all the stress and extra clinic appointments last week and having the scan moved from next week to this week just completely confused me! I called this morning to double check the time and they told me it was tomorrow 🙄 So I got myself all psyched up for nothing! Thank you for thinking of me, I’ll update you tomorrow ❤️ Sending 2WW support to you.

@unicornglitter123 are you trying to conceive naturally? How long have you been trying? I’m 43 and am very tempted. I always thought once I passed 40, that would be it- I wasn’t trying but if it happened..

Then at 43 I thought only at the start because once I would hit my 44th birthday due date it would be too late, but now I think it’ll be fine to be 44 and have a baby.

I think it may be becoming more of a focus the closer I get to it being too late. Sometimes I wonder if that’s what it is - like this is my last chance.

@YellowLoafers Ah bless you, a very easy mistake to make with everything you’re going through. At least you found out before you arrived.

@Isitthathardtobekind I’m 44, so the age thing is definitely on my mind. Am aware of people who do have babies in mid to late 40s without IVF etc but also know the chances are rapidly decreasing. I had a chemical pregnancy a couple of months ago so know I can get pregnant, not sure if my eggs are any good though. Told myself I’ll leave it to fate, and see what happens. Maybe I’ll have to reassess if the emotional toll becomes too great.

@TraceyTarotReader Congratulations on the new arrival, glad to hear both mum and baby are doing well. Hope you’re getting chance for lots of baby snuggles!

@pcmod thank you yes I’ve had lots of snuggles he is tiny but perfect and my daughter dosnt even look like she’s just given birth I’ve told her to take it easy cause once she comes down it will hit her like a ton of bricks but she’s doing really well here is baby Charlie my perfect grandson 💙

@Isitthathardtobekind we are TTC naturally. IVF isn't an option.
We have been trying for nearly a year...some of that not so much! And to be honest at times - it hasn't been every other day as they suggest...DH away with work etc...

I'm TTC number 2. I don't know if there is any truth in it, but they say higher chances if you have had a baby already.

My DS is 4.
