@PP82 absolutely agree with PPs - your journey is exactly that … “yours”. And your choices are never wrong. There are a lot of people working within the fertility industry with very strong ideas, our doctor jumped straight to DE IVF on our first consultation (aged 42) but we were adamant that we wanted to do OE first, it didn’t work out so we’re now on a DE cycle so she was right, but we had to know and he sure that we were making the right decisions for us.
I agree with previous comments that 6 months TTC is not long so definitely keep trying, get the specific fertility tests to ascertain your individual stats and pinpoint any potential problem areas and then make the decision that feels right for you. You’ve got time, DE IVF can be done in some clinics until the age of 50 so there’s no need to rush and you can give natural conception a good go first 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 good luck!! And read “it’s starts with an egg” to help the natural journey 😁😘

Hi all. Not only am I not pregnant this month but I’ve also had low grade dyskarosis on my smear so have to go for a colposcopy. All good fun here!

@Iusedtobedontcall 😩😩😩 ffs!! What a nightmare!! Sending love ❤️❤️ great that they’ve found it early and are on it though 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ve had HPV showing on my last 2 smears and it worries me sick even though I know how common it is 😵‍💫😵‍💫 you can’t help but sorry can you?! 😐

Im 2 weeks away from potential transfer (😳😳😳) but still haven’t had the results of the donors cycle so I can’t book flights or accommodation or anything!! It’s awful not knowing!! Meds aren’t the most fun in the world - lots of headaches and sooooo tired!! Not even started the pessaries yet 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️😩

I just had an email from the clinic confirming that I’ll get the final lab report tomorrow or Wednesday sooooo reading between the lines, I know we’ve got at least 1 day 3 embryo 😝😝😁😁🥳🥳🫣🫣

Hi gang, wondering if I could join in? I am 42 (43 in November) and TTC my second - my first was born Dec 2019, and it took me a while to be ready to have another, as the pandemic maternity leave experience was really hard for me. Once I felt ready to TTC again, I started a new job last year that I needed to really focus on and didn't want to be pregnant a few months in. So here I am, feeling a bit concerned that I really have left it too late...This is month 5 of TTC, although I don't believe the first two months were proper cycles after removing my Nuvaring (contraception). Husband is happy to try for another but has ruled out any IVF or highly interventionist approaches...He'd be quite happy with just the one, tbh.

I'm either O day (CD19) or 1DPO today. We managed to do it CD14, CD16, CD17, and CD 19 (today) but not yesterday (CD18), so am worried we missed it! Will keep going for at least two more days I think?

@YellowLoafers thankyou lovely I feel out already we have only bd 3 times in my fertile week but trying to stay positive hope your okay x

@Kelb79 hey you mean how long have I ttc ?

Hi all. So the NHS are going to offer me a colposcopy within 12 weeks. I’m wondering if I should go privately and just get it done quicker. You can have a colposcopy when you’re pregnant but they will delay any treatment so I don’t need to worry about TTC. It sounds like it’s nothing to worry about.

Hi, im 42 snd TTC baby 4.

My youngest is 13 so been a while.

DH had a vasectomy reversal in 2022, TTC for 14 cycles. Nothing for the first 10...had 2 chemicals since January.

All tests are good, DH lower than average motility.

I have my HSG this cycle then going to move to IVF possibly

@ladybranstonpickle I am 42 and 43 in November and had my first in December 2019 too... coincidentally.
I've been trying IVF though. In a couple of weeks may be starting what is my 4th cycle.

So cd 16 and woke up to some pink spotting I was a little surprised to see it I’m like well I haven’t had that for a while ff hasn’t confirmed ovulation yet but if I put 2 fake temps in it says I ovulated cd 15 so why the pink spotting it’s gone now maybe I’m ovulating now I did have uncomfortable ovulation pains yesterday I think I’m gunna bd tonight and see what this month brings .

@Iusedtobedontcall i think is probably just wait for the NHS tests seeing as none of it interferes with TTC but definitely depends on your own peace of mind. If it’s playing on your mind then go private and get it sorted. The last thing you need right now is more stress. Lots of love ❤️ xX

im STILL over here waiting on the final report from the donors cycle. I still haven’t been able to book flights and accommodation for the transfer that is supposed to be in 12 days 😩😩 My assistant told me I’d hear from the lab on Tuesday or yesterday but still nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ slowly but surely losing my mind!!! @Kelb79 oh sorry lol well I normally ovulate between cd 12/14 but ff says cd15 but hasn’t confirmed it yet will do tomorrow the spotting had complete gone by the afternoon and none since maybe it was ovulation spotting or I had already ovulated and the spotting was the result if I get another high temp I will be 2 dpo so I don’t think it’s implantation bleeding it was just weird lol x

@Iusedtobedontcall Sending love to you. Good news that this doesn’t need to impact TTC. I think the private v NHS is all down to how much this is weighing on you. TTC is hard enough as it is, so if you want to remove any additional stress from yourself then that’s completely understandable.

Update on me, I’m doing well, although fretting about every twinge! Apart from a tiny bit on wiping I’ve had no more bleeding so that’s a relief. I’m 9+4 today. 12 week scan is booked for 16th June so fingers crossed for that next milestone 🤞🤞 Thank you to all of you who’ve asked after me and are keeping me in your thoughts, means so much ❤️❤️

as for me nothing really to report I’m 6 dpo haven’t used opks for a couple of months and it’s been so much better less stress but I’m still
temping only bd 3 times it was in the fertile week but I wished I’d bd more my temps are very stable and more or less the same each day which is a little scary I remember my temps been like this when I had my cp in Jan this year but it could also be a good thing who knows x

Pushed my co-ordinator for info today and got this response….
….I have been speaking with embriologists and they say they will really try to have the embryo ready for the transfer date, they are sure about it. However today we can not confirm anything.
They are sure the transfer will be performed with a good embryo, so I guess we continue with the plan and you can book the flights and hotels. I am sorry, I know this is a stressful situation. Sometimes in lab´s work is hard to get good results.

@Kelb79 I can see why. Why can't they give you a straight answer? I would ask for a call to discuss results further as you don't understand what they are telling you.
