Good afternoon ladies just been catching up and I see that you all had lovely gifts for Valentines day. How did the postman cope???

As it is dp birthday today we went out and had a fantastic lunch. Went to the harvester and DD had a children?s meal cooked especially for her (flame grilled chicken, jacket potato and peas) so that there was no salt in it, then had fruit and ice cream for pudding (first time ever with the ice cream her face lit up). She had everyone cooing over her as the place was full of older couples. One lady stopped me on the way out and said that dd was the most well behaved little girl that she had ever seen (dd had been waving and smiling at her all afternoon). I was so proud!!!

I got a card and chocks from dp which was a nice surprise I must say as we he doesn't usually buy gifts as it is his birthday

Think I'm gonna have a quick clear up, and get the beer in the freezer, we had take away yesterday so I said I'd cook tonight.... not sure if he will like my cooking, think I've done it for him about twice! He is very much the chef in the house

Hmmm.... do I do the kids first and have a bit of a roast dinner later for us, or get dinner out of the way when he comes in so we have longer to erm.... well, play?

No TV on valentines day. Dont eat to early its all part of being romantic taking time over dinner, but not too late as you will be too full for all the sexersise (sorry DH'd word for energetic sex).

LOL. You have made my day with that image. Maybe not over wedges and dips. I am having proper 3 course meal, so I have been told and its a secret as to what it is (its got to be a steak, as he can't cook much else) so I am planning dinner by candle light, will probably dress for dinner too.

You don't have to listen for noises when you haven't got kids! Then the listening starts, we have been known to leave the baby monitor on the stairs so we can hear if DS1 is coming down!!

Will never ever forget the time DS1 was in the bath, 'twas before DS2 was born, we decided to have a quicky in our room, and just at the vital moment, DS1 pipes up with the Jaws music We laughed for ages
