Just a lighthearted thread for those of us now considered to be geriatric by the NHS 😂 looking to meet other women TTC who may also be feeling past their prime!

A little bit about me - I'm 36 and TTC dc no.2. Been trying for over 2 years now and depressingly started AF today so am yet again starting CD1. Hubby doesn't quite understand how upsetting this is each month so it'd be great to chat with ladies who get how I'm feeling ❤️

@SarahShorty is it? Can I believe it? I’m maximum 9 dpo as I had a scan on Sunday 21st late afternoon and egg was only 17mm

@Stillwinston Oh really really hope so 😭 we had our consultation from the fertility clinic on Friday and it all the costs sent over to us yesterday which we spend ages reading through. This would just be incredible. I just sold my car to pay for IVF.

@ttcat37 the only way you can turn an HCG urine test stick positive is with HCG. HCG is present in a trigger shot and in a growing placenta. I use those same test sticks and I can categorically say I've never had a false positive.

@ttcat37 that looks exactly like my 9dpo line on a similar test that's 100% positive!! Fingers crossed it gets darker over the next few days!!

Woooo we might be rolling in the positives now! 🤞🤞

@Stillwinston I don't think it's an Evap but I've got everything crossed for the next test! Ridiculous that we don't even trust the tests now 😂 it's always something isn't it!! 🤞🤞

@suz2285 I know, it's hard to trust any test nowadays 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've had so many evaps and indents on pretty much every brand that I don't think I'll believe it until it becomes so obvious it's hard to deny 😂 going to take some of your positivity and keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Well, there it is in words at 9dpo (maximum!)
The top test looks like a frer but is actually an ‘Answer’, it was £2.99 but looks just like a first response. Then there’s a CB digital ultra early and a CB digital weeks indicator.
I still can’t believe it and DH is refusing to accept it as my period isn’t due until Monday earliest and the doc said until you miss a period you’re not pregnant 🙃

@40andtrying1 I just felt odd. Slept terribly for 3 days which is really unlike me, had a very sore lower back today (could have been from the gym though), and have had a weird feeling in my tum, not quite like cramps but a sort of diluted pain (not quite a pain).

Had anyone had a very gurgly tummy in the 2ww? Weird I know but when I was pregnant last I noticed it around implantation.
