Cheryl Cole just said at 39 she's too old to have another biological baby. What's your thoughts?
I'm genuinely curious as someone who's nearly 38 I'm still trying for my first baby.
Can a healthy pregnancy be possible?
At 39 apparently half your eggs would be deemed chromosomally abnormal.
What's your experience on getting pregnant at this age?

I just think it’s really irresponsible - and mean - for someone in the public eye to say something like that when there are so many women around that age who are TTC. It’s a sensitive subject. I’m right about her chavvy background though. It’s just a fact 🤷‍♀️

This comment says a lot more about you than Cheryl.

CC was talking about herself, and her own feelings about having another child at her age; she didn't make any judgements or comments on anyone else. She may have gynae/peri issues; or other reasons for feeling this way.

You, though, are a judgemental snob, using classist, pejorative terms against someone.
Cheryl Cole has achieved far more than you could ever dream of, despite your (presumably) wonderful middle class background.

I think it does depend where you live. I had 2 in 30’s then two more at 42 and 44 (+10 months so almost 45).
BFF had her twins at 47 and my Sil had 3 between ages of 41 and 45.
We’re all in London and there are more older mums than twenties mums at our school gates.

If she’s so chavvy and awful, why do you care what she thinks and let it bother you? Surely you’re far too educated and wise to let the words of a pop star get to you..?

My Grandma was 46 when she had my mum. My mum went on to be a mum of 5 and now grandma to 12 …. So I’m very glad she had a baby in her 40’s! I love my family x

Thing is you don't need to take someone making a different decision to you as a personal attack. It's a choice.
