Hi ttc Ladies. I just wanted to come on and wish you all the best of luck over the next cycle. It's a bit hard to know what to write I can assure you, given that my pregnancy is progressing well so far. Am I right in thinking Tania, Hula (waiting and hoping), Jeddah, Twiga and Hester are still here? Just some of the names I remember from when I posted on here.

Here's some Christmas baby dust, the extra potent variety ~~~~~~~

Hulababy · 03/12/2004 12:37

Lipstickmum - glad your pg is going well. Hope you are taking care of yourself and able to enjoy justing being pg

MrsFogi · 03/12/2004 12:50

Hi all - back again for another thread (lost count of how many I've been on) I'm currently on DPO3. Can I kick off with a few questions? First, do you think if you have REALLY painful periods that indicates that you are more likely to have problems ttc (and, if so, why?) and secondly, how many of you have actually told people you are ttc/are having problems with the ttc (I've so far taken the decision that it is a matter for dh (mners) and me only so haven't told a soul and wonder why I would ever tell anyone as I figure I'll just get loads of glib comments (see other thread going on this) - anyone like to tell me what they think of this decision?

Twiga · 03/12/2004 12:57

Hi Lipstickmum, glad to hear all is well with you and the bump. Still here, cycle finally back on track this month after July's mc so figure I'm in with a better chance this month.

MrsFogi, not sure about the periosds thing, but as for telling folk that you're ttc I think it's an individual thing and you should do what you think is best for you and dh. Folk kinda know about us due to the mc, but we don't really discuss it much, close friends occasionally ask how it's going which is quite nice.

Tania2 · 03/12/2004 12:58

MrsFogi i would go with the decision not to tell anyone. everyone knows that we are ttc and i just wish i could keep my trap shut. so over all the advice from people that are pg like i need advice i know everything now even my gyno thinks i know too much!!!!

Tania2 · 03/12/2004 13:01

Congratulations again geordie...best news of the day he he
i am sory i left a hip of messages on the previous thread.just so sorry for the miscarriage.what a day..the beginning of a life is being announced when a miscarriage is announced.i guess that is the irony of life

cockenzie · 03/12/2004 14:00

i was saying hester that i wouldnt mind your help like you did for jedds.but dont want to put pressure on you.you seem busy as it is, i think you are the wee angel sent from the sky!!

cockenzie · 03/12/2004 14:03

isnt 'preditcor' ovulation kit as good to use as 'persona'?

i went to Boots earli on and was going to buy one (persona) but they only had the sticks, not the monitor.so dont know whether to buy one (lack of dosh this month) or do it the hoping way.i know i should ovulate (well according to my calculations) around wednesday , that'son a 29 day cycle which should happen this month.just have to charm dp!!

Hulababy · 03/12/2004 14:05

If you don't want to get a persona/predicter kit this month why nt try montitoring your CM and cervix this month and see if that gives you any clues to whether you have OVd or not?

cockenzie · 03/12/2004 14:08

aie good idea.will let you know. all this is so new to me, and reliying a lot on what you lot are saying.so far, i just tried to listen to my body.xx

cockenzie · 03/12/2004 14:09

how do you monitor cervix?
