Finally realised that our previous thread was full 🤣 I hope no one minds me starting up a new one!

Can you believe it's been almost a year since this was all started up?!

@LucyLoopyLu oh no I'm sorry you're poorly, hope you're not feeling too rough.

I had an early scan last night - by LMP I was 8 + 2 but as I ovulated late I was expecting to measure a week or so behind. So I was thrilled when I measured bang on 8 weeks with a strong heartbeat. We will now tell some family at Christmas which will be lovely.

They did also find a sizeable cyst near ovary that they said I should flag to NHS, and they also spotted some free fluid in pouch of Douglas and in left adnexum. I'm trying not to Google but does anyone know anything about this sort of thing?

I haven’t tested at all this month and we haven’t been able to dtd much, I’m CD19, and so far we’ve dtd CD6,8,9, 17 and 19 so don’t feel like I’m massively in for any chance this month…. Ovulated CD17 last month though so who knows…

just going to enjoy Christmas! And start again in the new year :)

@BethSuz27 it only takes once! We DTD cd10, 12 and 14 this month. Flo app predicted my ovulation to be cd13 and we got lucky. Fingers crossed for you!!

@DesertSnow great news on the scan! Sorry I don't know about those other things they mentioned, I've never been pregnant and don't have much knowledge. Hopefully they won't be an issue though? Definitely flag it at your NHS scan though and see what they say

Come home from our little break away, went to the loo and I’ve had some pinkish blood when I wiped 😔 I’ve had some mild cramps and lower back pain too, so I feel that this is going to end in another chemical. I’ll test again in the morning and pray for a darker line, but at this stage I’m not holding my breath 😢

@Houseelf90 oh no, I really hope not. Sending you lots of luck and good thoughts. A bit of bleeding doesn't definitely mean that it's going to be a chemical x

How many DPO are you now? X

@Houseelf90 with my DS I had a few days of bleeding went to epu and they couldn't find a cause said it was late implantation bleeding and can be quite common fingers crossed its the same for you

CD49 here and I've been feeling a bit down. I finished my Provera round on Saturday so more than likely, I'll be hit with AF over Christmas. That doesn't bother me so much, but I'm just feeling a bit sad.

I think it's in part because we took DS for his first visit to school yesterday, as he starts in January. I was sure that we'd have had another baby by now, but who knows what will happen?

I'm trying to remember that this is how I felt before having DS, jokingly making it my New Years resolution to successfully get pregnant, and then got my BFP on Valentine's Day. If only a positive mindset was all we really needed, eh?

Thank you everyone 🥰 still feels a bit surreal, also still early days. At least with a toddler it keeps me distracted through these early weeks! I remember with my first it was all I could think about, Googling everything!

Hope everyone is okay. Xmas prep has been a good distraction the past week. AF isn’t due for 8 days but I had some light pink on toilet roll after a wee last night and wondering if it could be implantation? Or maybe just getting my hopes up! Haven’t had anything since so will just wait and see what happens. Too early to test yet anyway!

@Welshgal85 thank you, I’ve had some more bleeding, very very dark so I think that’s conclusive of another chemical 😔
Spotting sounds good, especially if you don’t usually get any around this time, fingers crossed AF stays away and you get a BFP for new year! X

@HeathenPlayingHouse solidarity! I'm feeling sad too. Really sad this week. Setting off today for Christmas. All in all have nearly two weeks of seeing friends and family, which will be lovely, but I'm the only woman with no pregnancy and no children. I feel really down about it. I love seeing everyone else's little ones but it is hard. I just don't know why this has turned out to be so hard.

When are you thinking of testing?

I don't usually test early but I might do this cycle just for a bit of peace of mind as I know I will want to be drinking. Not crazy amounts but still.

@LucyLoopyLu thank you, Christmas is a good distraction so I’m doing better than last time! I spoke to EPU yesterday, I’ve got to test again when I would have been 6 weeks just to make sure and then let them know either way, so at least it will be on my record, I’m hoping this will help me get an early scan on the NHS as I’m just going to be stressed when I get another BFP.

@Houseelf90 I'm so so sorry. Really hope Xmas can be a distraction and that you get a BFP in January xx

@DesertSnow @PinkButtercups thank you, generally doing ok and being distracted, had a big ole cry last night, I think I just needed to get it out. My partner is amazing, so supportive. He was upset that I was upstairs crying on my own, said I should never cry alone and should have gone and got him. I’m just scared that this will keep happening, it kind of takes away the excitement of a BFP, wondering how long it’ll last and examining the loo roll for blood every time you pee!! But I know we will get there and it’ll all be worth it when I’ve got a baby in my arms one way or another xx

Thanks @LucyLoopyLu not sure when to test. AF is due around New Years Eve.
I’ve had a bit of dark red/brown on a tissue when I wee but it’s been over 24hrs which is unusual for me. Usually I get it a bit and then AF starts pretty heavily so not sure what is going on. Haven’t got the usual period pain I would usually have now either. Maybe it’s stress disrupting things a bit? Will just keep waiting and see what happens I think!
