@PinkButtercups Thanks for sharing. I'm 30+4 now and counting every day as a bonus. I know as long as there are no serious health issues, if she came now it might not be straightforward, but her overall chance of survival is good. I've DM'd you my Instagram, do share yours too 😊Nice to put faces to usernames.
@SarahShorty I'm so sorry you're finding it so tough. I feel incredibly lucky to be pregnant, but with all the current worries about the baby and will she make it or will she have some kind of disability, I empathise with you about it being hard around happy young families. Sending love.
@Welshgal85 It is hard when it feels everyone around you is getting pregnant, and frustrating if your DP feels a bit more relaxed about it. But they say every 2-3 days is enough, and you only need that one lucky swimmer.
@BethSuz27 I'm so sorry to hear about your relationship, but congrats on the BFP, fantastic! Did you tell him yet? Hope all ok.
@Bananatoast123 Very normal to be nervous before dating scan - before mine I kept thinking there wasn't going to be a baby in there and they'd laugh at me. Also totally normal to have a lot of bloating at that stage!
Thanks everyone for kind thoughts. Having a bit of a difficult week with it. Sunday night had to go in for monitoring due to reduced movements. They said it was ok but weren't totally happy and asked me to either stay in overnight or come back in first thing in the morning, so was back in Monday morning. Then yesterday they called up and asked me to come in for a doppler to check blood flow with placenta. It's holding up so far but they're going to check again next week. So it's really a case of keeping an eye and if it looks like placenta is failing they need to get her out. Feels hard to concentrate on work and it's difficult when everyone expects me to just be all things happy and they don't know what's going on.
