Can you believe it's been almost a year since this was all started up?!

Hi everyone

I've been taking a bit of time off as finding it a bit depressing again now we're back into trying. Hope everyone is OK, enjoyed reading all the updates.

I didn't ovulate normally after my withdrawal bleed but I'm getting a darker line on OPKs now so I hope it's coming (at least a week later than normal). Still nowhere near peak but hoping it might be tomorrow or Weds as OH is away Thurs-Sat

I’m having a weird month…I was ill during my usual ovulation window so didn’t bother with OPK and obvs didn’t DTD. Then when I was better I randomly did a OPK and it’s showing as positive way later than usual. So no idea what’s going on!

High usually starts around day 15/16 with peak around day 19/20. But this month I’ve tested high since day 24 and still testing high today on day 28. AF is supposed to be due on Sunday! 🤷🏻‍♀️has anyone else had this? Feeling a bit fed up with how unpredictable my cycles can be!

Coming up to 19 weeks now. Due date is 24th of September. Hoping to find out the baby's sex next week

I never tested on ovulation sticks but have noticed on my flo app when it says predicted highest fertility day etc that's not right. I kind of know when I am at my peak TMI sorry with discharge etc. Not TTC at the moment but still log my periods.

@Welshgal85 Being ill can definitely throw off your cycle, so could be that. I struggled with OPKs being accurate to be honest, I found BBT much more useful.

@BritishDesiGirl Congrats! How exciting. Do you have an idea of what it might be? I was 100% convinced mine is a boy only to find out I was 100% wrong 😅

@BritishDesiGirl ahh the day before me!! My due date is 25th September! My scan is 10th May but we’re not finding out what we’re having!

Hi all sorry been a mia, basically nothing to report, briefly had a catch up, so exciting to see so many BFP congratulations 🥰
I'm currently 12 DPO, I should be due period now as I get short cycles, usually 26 days, but no signs as yet. Been getting mild anxious feelings and a bit light headed, trying not to read into anything. But picked up some extra early tests, might try one tomorrow morning but not worried yet as I know it can be too early. Even if it is positive it's so hard to get any kind of hope or excitement which is really sad, but still hopeful. I fell pregnant with my son end of April/May, maybe I'm only destined for Jan/Feb babies 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have nothing to update on. I did get a bit of EWCM (don't usually have much so that's not unusual) and a rising OPK last week, but either didn't peak or missed my peak in the middle of the night. We DTD around the right time anyway. I might be approx 7dpo. Don't feel there's much chance this time but I will just be happy to get my regular cycle back tbf.

I've booked a 10k run for first half of June and also bought a big pack of 100 OPKs. Assuming I will be heading to GP to kick off investigations in about 6 weeks (I want to have properly tried for 12 cycles before I go).

@Welshgal85 how are you getting on? Do you think you ovulated late in the end?

Hey ladies xx I'm on another screwy cycle. Pretty much the same as the last cycle I had before my egg retrieval. I got a 'false surge' on CD17 (quite early for me) and then I didn't ovulate. Now on CD24, typically takes about a week for the body to realise no egg was released, so it gears up to ovulate again. It'll be CD27 or so, right on the Coronation lmao. We'll be ready. I hope you're all doing well xx

@SarahShorty hi nice to see your update. How was your egg retrieval? How long do you have to wait now for embryo transfer? Sorry if a silly Q, I don't know that much about the process

@LucyLoopyLu still testing high! It’s been 12 days of the same! Meant to be AF now (day 35 of cycle) no idea what’s going on..

@LucyLoopyLu no worries xx I had my egg retrieval in January, it was better than I thought it would be as they knocked me out. I then had a frozen embryo transfer (FET) in March, first of 5. That failed. So I'm trying naturally this cycle and praying a lot 😄

@SarahShorty oh, sorry to hear the first transfer didn't work. And yeah you never know, could still get the BFP naturally! Sending you lots of luck

@Welshgal85 phew, that is a long wonky cycle. Hopefully, it's just gearing up for the best egg ever. Hope you're not feeling too stressed

I have to say I really feel for everyone with irregular cycles, mine have been fairly regular (as an adult) and it does make life a lot easier!

@LucyLoopyLu thanks I'm doing OK how are you? I can imagine I've not listened to any I just follow a couple of people on insta

@krissy12 Yeah I don't think the podcast was for me! I don't follow anyone who talks about infertility on Instagram to be fair (apart from Elizabeth Day but I just love her anyway). I feel like people would notice if I did, although realistically I doubt anyone would notice or cares enough to notice 😂

All ok here. Just waiting for my first proper period since our break from trying. Pretty sure I did ovulate this month but not expecting it to be the lucky cycle. I just hope I will be back to being regular again. Feels like AF might be coming, I did a run yesterday morning and was like running through treacle it was so hard. I've also been really hot when I'm usually cold (except for time of the month).

Think I might need to move onto another thread... I know there are barely any of us still TTC here.

AF finally arrived in the end on day 39! Frustrated that my cycle seemed all over the place this month but hopefully this month will be a good one!

@Welshgal85 oh no, I was hoping it was going to be good news for you. Hope you're doing OK too.

I'm glad I'm busy at work at the moment, and also doing my 10K training plan. I lost a lot of fitness over the winter and when on holiday, so hoping I can get back to where I was before
