Hi ladies,
long time lurker but thought I would finally post. I’m almost 8 weeks post ERPC and still haven’t had AF 🥲
I’ve been tracking ovulation since 2 weeks post op and finally received a positive test last weekend, so currently 7dpo. We dtd day of positive test and day after. Would it be possible to be pregnant without a cycle? Or should I book an appointment with the gp this week if no bfp or af?
All I want is to be pregnant again x

@Shannonmcc thats very odd, I’m guessing you’ve tested since and it’s still positive? X

@MrsHopeful95 if you’ve ovulated again it’s very possible to get pregnant again! Hopefully you get a bfp soon or af if not just so you can start again, 8 weeks seems like an eternity!

@Shannonmcc I know this might not be very helpful but I tested negative on a IC then it started getting darker again it wasn't a new pregnancy but must have just been a weird few tests as they looked utterly convincing that they were getting darker. Though I do hope yours is a new one 🤞🏼 I did do a couple of frers too and they didn't look any darker could you do a frer over a couple of days to see if it looks like those lines are getting stronger or you could ring EPU and explain you had a negative test then a positive

@MrsHopeful95 it's totally possible to get pregnant without a period. I take it you've had a negative PT in that time?

@mummatara yes ive been testing negative for about 4 weeks. I had a rescan 4 weeks after d&c to check everything was “removed” and they said by uterus lining wasn’t thick enough for a period but that was now 4 weeks ago. Think I’ll speak with the gp this week if I don’t get a bfp. X

@MrsHopeful95 then I would keep everything crossed for a BFP and like you say if nothing shows speak to gp

@mummatara thankyou, I gave the EPU a ring this morning and they said to retest tomorrow morning again and if it is still positive to ring them tomorrow. Although then I decided to try a OPK this morning as the last few I took during last week were very faint and negative this morning OPK was measuring in on my premom app at high il attach the photo I genuinely do not understand what is going on with my body as my HCG levels were at 36 last Thursday so I would have assumed they would be below 5 by now to get a constant negative and not to go back to being positive x

I’m feeling really deflated today.
it took 6 weeks to get my AF back after MC then I ovulated on CD 10, I’m only CD 14 now and just started spotting this morning. Although it’s completely gone now but it looks like this cycle is going to a write off too if my LP is that short

@Mannymoomin could be ovulation bleeding I have read on some thread that people have had that after a MC when they didn't get it before 🤔

@Shannonmcc ooh good luck I hope they can give you some answers. Does seem very strange though that last little bit of hcg can be a stubborn bugger. I hope that it's a new pregnancy for you 🤞🏼 I take it you've dtd so that's a possibility?

I went for my scan at the EPU today to get some answers but needed up with no scan. I think they were short staffed due to the weather. The doctor couldn't understand why I was there as no pain or bleeding so she did a hospital pregnancy test which she gave it 30 seconds to process with nice diluted wee and it came back negative so she wouldnt scan me just told me AF would probably turn up soon but it can take a while. I got home and did a frer which still has a line although it is a lot fainter than Fridays test so think it's finally in the way out. My temp has also dropped back down below coverline so I think hopefully AF will show soon and we can get back to it 🤦🏼‍♀️

@mummatara I did notice ovulation bleeding for the first time ever to be honest this cycle, but it was mixed in with my EWCM. My cm is quite reliable and it’s pretty much dried up now.
I have just checked my cervix though and nothing, not even brown. So I’m beginning to think I’m still in as other than some cramping last night I’ve had no AF symptoms and my AF symptoms are strong from around 8dpo
guess I can do nothing but wonder and wait

@Mannymoomin ooh I reckon it was just leftover from that then 🤞🏼 I hate that last bit of waiting 🙈 will you wait for AF or test early so you think?

I would love to wait, but I can’t, the urge to POAS is too much, so I might start testing from 11dpo. I have 4 frer in the drawer so the temptation is too great

Hope everyone is doing ok. TWW starts today for me as think I ovulated yesterday. Feel really nervous this month with AF being due over Christmas and the potential of a BFP for a Christmas present…

On another note I managed to use the fertilily for the first time so 🤞🏻 it makes a difference! Omg though it’s not the easiest to get in 😆 I defo don’t think I managed to get it high enough up to cervix as ran out of fingers 😂 and does anyone else find it a little messy when trying to get it up there 😂

I've not tried a fertilily, but my friend read something that said what needs to stay in will & it can be dangerous to keep it all in, do who knows! I'm still going with legs in the air for 15 mins!

I haven’t been using OPKs just want to go off cm so I started getting EWCM on Friday and today it’s creamy. Where would you place my ovulation day if I’ve even ovulated. Would it be the last day of EWCM, so yesterday?

Hi girls how is everyone getting on with their cycles today I have the EPU another call this morning as instructed to if tested today and was still positive which it was. They weren't much help to me really I thought they would have offered me blood test to check my HCG levels but nurse reckons it must be a new pregnancy 🤞 but I don't know what to think I just don't feel I am that lucky to conceive again so fast although we have been DTD so much lately. Il just have to wait I suppose for another few days test again and see if the line gets any darker. Hoping I get a dark positive or elsey AF comes soon so I know where I am at with this cycle as it's 4 weeks on Thursday from my natural MC and haven't had an AF yet. Took another ovulation last night and it was my peak it's slowly decreasing today again so predicted ovulation is today on my app so il make sure to make use of that just incase x

@Shannonmcc i had a Mc in July and fell pregnant very quickly afterwards without realising (was on dtd strike too 😂). I had tested negative during the bleed of my mc. I didn’t have my normal EWCM either I had very watery cm for about a week which I thought was just hormonal imbalance. So it could be a new pregnancy. If you have a positive pregnancy test your opk could be picking up hcg as lh as well. Test in a couple days and just keep dtd in the meantime.

I think I spoke too quickly with the creamy cm I now have half cloudy half EWCM that’s slightly watery 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Luna57 oh really see I have been the same I am yet to have any EWCM 8days after my MC I had watery cm but nothing since then. I have been trying to "find" my cervix the last few days and from what I think it is high like I haven't had a day where it is low so praying that it is a new pregnancy fingers crossed.

@Luna57 I find I get the most EWCM couple of days before my peak so 2-3 before ovulation. Seems to almost disappear or turn to creamy on peak OPK day and ovulation day. Not sure why 🤷🏻‍♀️
So I had EWCM on Friday and Saturday and then had peak on Sunday so ovulation yesterday. Sounds like you might have ovulated around same time as me 😊

@Shannonmcc i would say your watery cm was your fertile cm too. That was the only time I’ve ever had watery cm so didn’t realise it was fertile. Because I’m wasnt tracking and my memory is shocking I didn’t know exactly how far along I was but I would have been roughly 5 weeks when I found out I was pregnant that time (only took a test so I could phone dr about no af after first Mc). I miscarried that pregnancy at 8 weeks but baby was measuring 6+4. Really hoping it’s a new healthy pregnancy for you.

@emhope thats interesting. Do you only get 2 days of EWCM before as well? I’m not counting today as fertile cm I think it’s that half and half you get after ovulation. Friday was my most ewcm I was so shocked and happy to see it 😂 Although it’s not unusual for my body to gear up to ovulate and then stop and start again. Ive never had a ‘normal’ cycle before that I’ve noticed, so to ovulate this early on in a cycle would be fab 😂 I conceived ds 10/12/20 so hopefully December is our lucky month again.
