@Mannymoomin hey missus started bleeding early this morning 😢 I have tested again with cheapies today and still faintly positive but another chemical for me. Sigh.

I have cervical erosion too but I had a fair amount of pain with the bleeding. I'll test again on Thursday to check. Glad you got a better line ❤️ I hope everything goes well for you lovely xx

CaliGirl47 · 16/01/2023 20:56

So sorry to hear that hun. @MrsJGrealish 😔 I hope you are okay. 💓 I could clearly see your line for sure. Sorry to hear that you think it’s another cp. Have you mentioned these chemicals to your GP? Might be worth mentioning in case they can start offering any blood work or support to investigate. Sending you hugs. X

Ella31 · 16/01/2023 21:57

Don't know what I'm expecting, I'm only 4dpo but just don't feel like it's my month. Just feeling a little down I guess 😒

MrsJGrealish · 16/01/2023 23:07

@CaliGirl47 thank you lovely xx virtual hugs accepted 💕

MrsC2018 · 17/01/2023 06:52

@Ella31 same, 2 dpo and feeling like it's all impossible. This time last year I was just pregnant with the first baby I lost in April, plus I'm 39 in March plus my DD is 2.5 in May so I'm just feeling like time is running out. I was pregnant for most of last year but no baby and I'm tired of TTC.

HopefulP · 17/01/2023 09:34

Morning, bitter sweet hard to believe I've been soo lucky to fall pregnancy again.
I'm trying not to get excited, I had MC at 5+6 last December.
Staying positive 🌈❤️

@HopefulP ah that’s lovely news ☺️

Bubblesandballoons · 17/01/2023 12:16

@HopefulP congratulations

@MrsJGrealish sorry you had another chemical. They are the worst.

Well to keep my run of 💩 luck going, the hospital rang me back today about my aps bloods and looks like the bloods were done wrong (they didn’t know what colour tube, but did ring and ask) and that blood test never got done as there is no trace of it ever being processed. Of course my consultant is away till feb so won’t be able to do anything about it till then 🙄. Tried looking for somewhere to get it done private, but struggling to find somewhere. Has anyone had it done private and can tell me where they went/who they used?

HopefulP · 17/01/2023 13:11

Thank you @Bubblesandballoons

CaliGirl47 · 17/01/2023 15:00

Congratulations on your bfp! 🎉🌈😍 @HopefulP x

Mannymoomin · 17/01/2023 17:37

@MrsJGrealish Im so sorry lovely, that is horrible, cp are such a double edged sword, on the one hand it’s horrible knowing you’re having one, and on the other hand, it’s good to know that at least fertilisation is actually happening.
Probably still best to test though, as lots of ladies have heavy bleeding but somehow still stay pregnant. I hope your next cycle is a lucky one though.

@bringmearainbow hope AF is behaving and this next cycle is a lucky one for you.

on another note, does anyone know how pregnancy is dated? I ovulated late but all date estimators are putting me at 4weeks 6days pregnant going by my last period, I know I’m still only 16dpo.
Do I just go with being 4+6 and expect to be moved back a few days at dating scan?

MrsJGrealish · 17/01/2023 17:58

@Mannymoomin I think that's wishful thinking going by today 😩 literally flooding 😳 I always just dated mine by lmp and if they needed to change it that was done at the 12 week scan xx good luck lovely ❤️

bringmearainbow · 17/01/2023 18:04

@Mannymoomin AF is being a meany 😂 CD8 today and I think it's just about finished 🙄 today seems like the last dregs I'm bored of bleeding now and I've had some wicked cramps which is def not normal for me. I started with CB opks today incase it's a short one but tbh I think it will be normal CD16/17 so next weekend or thereabouts. They date them from LMP so it depends you can leave it knowing you'll be a be a bit behind at scan or adjust your lmp date to fit in with ovulation

Mannymoomin · 17/01/2023 18:05

@MrsJGrealish maybe wishful thinking, but I remember @LuckyMoonstone had a heavy period and thought she was having a cp, I think she’s seen the sac on scan, but still waiting for a follow up scan? Is that right @LuckyMoonstone? I’m losing track

Mannymoomin · 17/01/2023 18:11

@bringmearainbow ouch for still having AF on cd8! At least by the time AF has gone you'll be closer to fertile window!

I think I’ll adjust my lmp then, although I won’t be booking in officially until I’m at least 7 or 8 weeks just in case anything goes wrong

Ella31 · 17/01/2023 18:27

I'm the same. I'm so sorry for your loss. Just trying to muster up the energy to keep going. Feeling run down this week as well so that isn't helping. Hopefully this month will be our lucky month after mc. Rainbow babies all around ❤️

bringmearainbow · 17/01/2023 20:23

@Mannymoomin I know my uterus has not been kind to me this past month 🙄 how have you been feeling?

Mannymoomin · 17/01/2023 20:30

@bringmearainbow other than my bladder telling my brain to wake up multiple times throughout the night I’m feeling ok, managed to hold of testing today as comparing lines would just eat away at me.
I’m not believing it yet, and not getting my hopes up either. DH is being very cautious too. The mental load after mc is just too much, we’ve decided not to tell anyone until 12 weeks, so it’s DH, me and MN that knows, although I can picture my teenagers faces at the thought of mum and dad having sex 😂

bringmearainbow · 17/01/2023 20:36

@Mannymoomin 😂😂 they will be mortified. It's really mentally draining after a MC I actually don't even know how I'm going to feel at our next BFP I can't even imagine it at the moment feels so far away. When we fell again after the first MC I was actually so optimistic and felt almost excited what a big fat mistake that was 🙄 I did tell a few close people early though if only because it was nice to offload onto them and honestly the ladies on MN are angels ❤️

LuckyMoonstone · 17/01/2023 20:42

@Mannymoomin yep i had a full on week-long period but there is still a sac! Back at the EPU on Monday to hopefully see something inside the sac lol 🤞how are you today? Are you doing any more tests to check line progression?

LuckyMoonstone · 17/01/2023 20:45

@Mannymoomin also about knowing how many weeks you are, they do still go off the first day of your last period (very outdated IMO!) but if you find a due date calculator online you can change your cycle length and it will factor that in and tell you how many weeks you are.
So from my LMP im like 7-8 weeks or something ridiculous but because of my 40 day cycles im actually only 5 and a half weeks

Rosegold3112 · 17/01/2023 20:45

@Mannymoomin in terms of dating, I think there are some websites that will help you work out your due date from your ovulation date of you know it but in terms of anyone medical, they will likely go by lmp until your 12 week scan. I think it's sensible to bear in mind your likely dates when going for any early scans to prevent unnecessary worry 👍

@MrsC2018
@Ella31@Ella31 I'm around 2dpo

Rosegold3112 · 17/01/2023 20:49

@Ella31 @MrsC2018 im around 2dpo so around same time as you both. Happy 2ww. I find the hope starts to fade the further in I get 😔 already working out when the earliest I can test is. Such a gluten for punishment.

I spoke to my bereavement midwife yesterday and she was lovely. My hospital has a rainbow clinic apparently for pregnancies after loss where you can go in anytime for reassurance. Assuming I ever have another pregnancy, she said I'd be able to go in twice a day if I wanted just to hear baby's heartbeat. It's very comforting to know that service would be available but I'm not sure she's prepared for just how anxious I can be. DP has already said that would be me down there twice a day for a full 9 months then 😂 might be worth asking if any of your hospitals do something similar?
