@mummatara I get it, I caught second proper cycle after the first miscarriage when I really didn't expect to, no pressure just tested the day my period was due and was pregnant! So I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to get pregnant again and quick. I think though, for how long you've waited to ovulate you need to give yourself a bit of a break this TWW. Pee on something if you want to, better to be cross at the injustice of having to TTC again rather than yourself. We're all just trying to cope over here after all ❤️

bringmearainbow · 04/01/2023 08:11

@MrsC2018 thanks lovely. I've changed my name btw I woke up and felt like I should get some positive manifestation in 🌈 I will no doubt say F it and wee on something 🙈 perhaps not my frers though 😂

HopefulP · 04/01/2023 09:57

@mummatara
Sorry don't know what OPK means 🫤🫤

I was just wondering like when people say they are 4dpo is that the last day from their ovulation cycle or the first day ?

Sorry if this makes no sense, im confusing myself.

x

bringmearainbow · 04/01/2023 11:24

@HopefulP opk is an ovulation test to look for the lh rise you get just before ovulation. You start counting the day after you ovulate so ovulation day is zero. Day one of your period is CD1 and it really depends on cycle length as to when you ovulate for me I usually ovulate around CD16/17 but this cycle I ovulated on CD12 so I am today CD16 and 4dpo

I hope that makes sense 🙈

HayleyD93 · 04/01/2023 13:29

Sorry if I've missed it but at 25 pages long it's a long read. I had what I believe to be a chemical pregnancy over Xmas, tested positive on the 20th on a cheap dip stick one, 22nd done a clear blue weeks and had 1-2 weeks and another digital on 24th saying pregnant.

26th I had a small amount of blood when wiping just before bed. Morning of 27th red blood almost like a snotty texture continued. I done a clear blue digital on morning of 29th that said not pregnant.

Do I now count the 26th as my 1st day of my last period and my cycle now starts again a week later.

I have OPKs and have a faint line at the momemoment.

I would absolutely love my cycle to go back to how it was before as it works well with an upcoming holiday, that was originally booked around peak ovulation dates 🙄 and now it could be period week instead.

FfayeN · 04/01/2023 14:04

@HayleyD93 it does sound that way yes, sorry you've been through that.
I would say CD1 is 27th Dec if that's when you started a proper bleed, making you CD9 now, if you're previous expected period date was the 20th, I would imagine it will shift back a week so you'll be in in the build up to your fertile window instead.

Thank you.

Premom app is showing high 6th and 7th and ovulation on 8th. We are going to DTD tonight and hopefully 7th for best chance.
Slightly disappointed that holiday planning done in October to meet a friend to help me out has now gone out of the window but have a shot before I go.
Was quite shocked to have a positive as tried in October with donor and no luck, 1st time trying with this donor and got a positive but he's willing to try again this week.

HopefulP · 04/01/2023 19:15

I think I'm going crazy spent £40 on tests over the last 1/2 wks when I know it's to early for a result after having CMC in early December, I just can't help but want to test constantly like I want to be disappointed just now if it's going to be negative rather than wait another 1 week.
Sorry to rant on girls but I'm just drained, desperate and feeling low.

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 12:23

@HopefulP this is a safe space where you can rant! I know that horrible desperation you feel :( how are you feeling today x

HopefulP · 05/01/2023 12:55

@LuckyMoonstone
Awh thank you 🥰

I'm feeling okay today forgot I orders at home kits, they are getting delivered today so I already know I'm going to be taking one when I get home 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've got symptoms I had in my previous pregnancy but just got a gut feeling it's not going to be anything pregnancy wise,

Thanks for listening, my husband is getting worried about me because I am becoming to obsessive over it. It's not that he doesn't want a baby as much as me he is just thinking of me mentally.

Thanks again @LuckyMoonstone
❤️‍🩹

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 21:49

Some of you may have seen this on another thread, but I am testing positive today despite being on day 7 of a very normal medium-heavy period. 99% sure it’s a chemical or pregnancy of unknown location like I had in September. Test was totally negative last week when AF started though which is weird.

ChloeN · 05/01/2023 22:01

@LuckyMoonstone I hadn’t seen this! I think I remember you having this before when I first joined the thread, sorry it’s happening again😭 do you just have to wait and see what happens or are you getting any help?

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 22:03

@ChloeN I think I’ll ring 111 tomorrow and ask them to do what they did last time which was get my GP to get me an EPU appointment.

Superstorefan123 · 07/01/2023 07:37

Hi ladies, finally working up the courage to join some threads! Had an ectopic in June and nothing since… due date is fast approach and I’m due to start clomid rather than meeting my baby! All seems so unfair!

Just adding myself in, but will go back and read some of the thread - best of luck to all x

Mannymoomin · 08/01/2023 07:42

Hope everyone is doing ok?
@LuckyMoonstone sorry to hear this, have you had any insight into what’s going on yet. I have had mistaken implantation bleeding for my period when I was actually pregnant, and that was heavy and lasted a whole week, hoping this is the case for you.

I’m currently 7/8dpo, I’ve had a busy week so it’s flown but going into my second week I know it’s going to drag.
my last LP was 7 days though so I’m pleased I’ve got past that without AF.
I had a wave of nausea yesterday, lasted about an hour.
looked back at my previous pregnancy’s and also had very short lived nausea between 7-10dpo on them ones.

checked my cervix this morning and it’s still high but has some pinkish blood around it. No signs of AF yet but it could be getting ready or 🤞 IB

@mummatara how are you getting on? We’re around the same dpo I think

bringmearainbow · 08/01/2023 08:03

@Mannymoomin I've changed my name btw incase you were thinking who is this person 😂 I'm 8dpo today and I've had a whole host of symptoms that I've had in previous pregnancies as well as chucking up my perfectly good dinner twice. I did do a test yesterday and today had like suuuppppeerrrr faint lines on both but im not 100% if they are indents or not. Yesterdays looked like it dried pinkish but todays im not sure on looks def fainter than yesterday I was very thirsty last night and drank a lot of water so 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I think it looks much more like an indent. Im going to leave testing a couple of days now. Not sure on the chances of having multiple indents in a row

I'm glad yours has flown mine was the longest week ever 😂 all sounds very promising 🤞🏼 and I'm glad that lp has surpassed last cycle that's a winner in itself 🙊 when are you planning to test?

Mannymoomin · 08/01/2023 08:12

@bringmearainbow I missed your name change 😂
I’d say chucking up your dinner twice is certainly a positive sign, I know hcg isn’t high enough for nausea to sickness to start until 5-6 weeks ish, but I’m convinced that the start of hcg at implantation is too much of a change for our wonderful bodies not to notice. Just my opinion on my past experiences though!
and omg to faint lines, this is one reason why I hate myself when I test early, I spend the next few days wondering am I or not, but now I may test tomorrow 😂

bringmearainbow · 08/01/2023 09:36

@Mannymoomin I've never actually been sick with any of my pregnancies just nausea that's starts around 6 weeks I did gag a lot in the last one just no actual sickness so this was def something new 😂 so I couldn't help myself and did another with SMU and there's def a little pink line 🙊 I won't test again until Tuesday now. I honestly hate myself for testing so early but I just couldn't not it's a horrible compulsion 🙄 honestly if you can distract yourself enough to hold off then do it but I totally understand if you can’t. I wish they didn’t make any sensitive tests it wouldn’t leave us int he situation but I suppose that’s how they make all their money 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 08/01/2023 09:42

@bringmearainbow I can definitely see a darker line on todays test!

@Mannymoomin I’ve got a scan booked for Thursday, I’m not bleeding anymore and not in any pain so the EPU don’t need to see me any earlier than that. So you had a heavy bleed in early pregnancy like a period but everything was ok?

bringmearainbow · 08/01/2023 09:45

@LuckyMoonstone I'm glad you don't have long to wait for the scan and bleeding has stopped that's excellent news. Second one today was much more clear than yesterdays. Are you testing today or leaving it now?

LuckyMoonstone · 08/01/2023 09:55

Todays test alone and with the others. I was hoping it would be a bit darker but I think this is ok? I’m gonna end up doing another one this afternoon 😅

Mannymoomin · 08/01/2023 09:59

@bringmearainbow I see vvvfl on both of them and I’m rubbish at seeing lines 😂

@LuckyMoonstone yes I had it with my daughter, a looong time ago now.
I did also have it with my mc recently, I’m sure it wasn’t related though so please don’t let that worry you.
with that one I didn’t know I was pregnant until 6 weeks, I didn’t test as AF arrived, or so I thought.
ive had subchorionic heamotomas (sp) in all of my pregnancy’s that resulted in healthy children and that can cause bleeding, is actually very common.
there’s something else called decidual bleeding, quite uncommon but does cause heavy bleeding, lots of info on this online and almost always results in health baby’s.
I’ve read lots of forums where women have shared stories of decidual bleeding with a positive outcome, I think the women that don’t know they’re pregnant and still have a period are because of decidual bleeding, hope this is what is for you
easier said than done but try not to worry for now xx

Mannymoomin · 08/01/2023 10:00

@bringmearainbow & @LuckyMoonstone don’t know why that didn’t tag

LuckyMoonstone · 08/01/2023 10:06

@Mannymoomin that’s interesting, and does make me feel hopeful. I actually had a subchorionic haematoma with DS, it was found on a scan. My body absorbed it though rather than bled it out.

MrsC2018 · 08/01/2023 18:51

@bringmearainbow oooh fingers firmly crossed the manifestation works! 😍

@LuckyMoonstone I've had 4 pregnancies, bled in 2 - full on red gushing with clots and cramps and of the 2 where I bled, one is a healthy 2 year old and the other was a mc at 16 weeks. Of the 2 where I didn't bleed, one is a healthy 14 year old and the other was also a mc at 16 weeks. So bleeding for me isn't always a bad thing and neither is not bleeding 🤷‍♀️. Fingers crossed for you this one holds on tight
